Chapter 84: Missing Mother.

Clara felt pain in the stomach after getting news of her husband's accident, Kei.

"It looks like Ms. Clara is about to give birth" said Dr. Kenzis. Then he asks the nurse to take Clara to the delivery room, while Dr. Kenzi returned to the room where Kei was being treated.

Thirty minutes passed, Clara's labor went smoothly. She gave birth to twin girls and boys.

"Congratulations, Mom..You have a healthy daughter's son" said one of the doctors who helped deliver Clara.

"Thank you Doc" replied Clara. "How's my husband doing Doc?" clara asked with an anxious look towards the Doctor named Mira.

"Mothers need not worry, the mother's husband is in the care of a team of medical experts" replied Dr. Miras. "Mom rest better, mother husband is fine."

"Do your best for my husband Doc." Clara held Dr. Miras.

Dr. Mira smiled as she nodded her head. "Of course, ma'am, that's our job. Then excuse me first and I'd better get Ms. Clara some rest."

Clara nodded her head, "thank you Doc." Dr. Mira smiled, then she stepped out of the room.

Meanwhile, Dr. Adrian who just came out of the room where Kei was in care, he was in a hotbed with Dr. Kenzis.

"How's Layla doing now?" ask Dr. Adrian.

Dr. Kenzi let out a deep sigh, "Layla is bleeding, and it looks like we have to have surgery" replied Dr. Kenzis.

Dr. Adrian nodded his head, "well Doc, do your best." Dr. Adrian patted Dr. Kenzi then they walked towards the room where Layla was being treated.

In between his steps Dr. Kenzi asked about Kei's condition, "what about Kei, Doc?" tanyakanya.

"Kei is still unconscious due to the influence of drugs, he will recover soon."

"Thank God Doc" replied Dr. Adrian.

Rico, who was sitting in a chair, stood up when he saw Dr. Kenzi and approached her, "how is Layla Doj? is she giving birth?" ask Rico.

"Layla hasn't given birth, she's just exhausted, which is a result of too much burden on the mind.try to keep Layla in a calm state," explained Dr. Kenzis. "If Layla is not calm, it will be fatal in her brain cancer as well as in the womb. So I recommend not overloading her with things that stress her out."

Rico nodded his head, "well Doc, I'll try my best" Rico replied.

"Yes, I was going to tell you that Kei had an accident" said Dr. Kenzis.

"Dock Accident? continue..now how is Kei's condition?" ask Rico.

"Still in a coma because under the influence of the drug, no damage is fatal..Kei will recover quickly."

"huuuffftt, thank goodness" Rico said. "But Doc.don't tell Layla, if she finds out..Layla will be sad and become a burden on her mind."

"Okay, I won't tell him."

"You can go see Layla, I still have another job." Dr. Kenzi patted Rico on the shoulder and walked into his room.

Rico fell silent, then he walked into the room where Layla was being treated. He was stunned for a moment in front of the door when he saw Layla smilingly staring at him. Rico returned Layla's smile, he walked over, "are you better?" ask Rico while sitting on the chair.

Layla nodded her head, "yes Ric.now it doesn't hurt anymore" Layla replied.

"Don't worry me, you have to be strong Layla.for your baby's sake." Rico clasped Layla's hand tightly.

"I'm sorry it's made you anxious" Layla said.

Layla sighed deeply, "i hope so too.but something unexpected happens a lot.."

"Yes, I know that" Rico replied.

"Rican.."

"Hem" replied Rico staring softly at Layla's face.

"I'm..." Layla did not continue her words.

"What's the matter, baby?" ask Rico.

"Rico.me.." Layla fell silent again, and suddenly she sobbed in tears without Rico knowing why.

"Hey.why are you crying?" Rico gently rubbed Layla's cheeks wet with tears.

Layla tries to get out of bed while sobbing.

"Let me help you" said Rico. He lifted Layla's body to sit on the bed.

"What's wrong? why are you crying?" tanya Rico hugged Layla tightly.

Layla just sobbed, she cried in Rico's arms, "i don't know.I'm just sad Ric.I miss mom.I need mom.I want to be in mom's arms.." layla said softly with a vibrating tone of voice.

Rico was stunned, his heart also felt pain. " Layla.don't cry darling.."

"A time like this, I need a hug.."

"I know Layla..I know how you're feeling right now.But what can I do?" Rico tightened his embrace.

"Mother.forgive Layla.let's just listen to all your advice, mother.."

"Citya.." Rico put Layla's head on the pillow. Then he walked up to the table and pressed a button to call the Doctor.

"Layla, hold on dear" said Rico clasping Layla's hand tightly.

Shortly thereafter Dr. Kenzi walked into the room, "what's up?" tanyakanya.

"Don't know Doc, he was crying for no reason.it turns out he misses his mother," replied Rico.

Dr. Kenzi nodded his head, "alright, you wait outside."

Rico nodded his head, then walked out of the room and sat down on a chair. "Layla.you must have suffered greatly" murmured Rico. "I'm sorry I asked you for more than you can afford, Layla."

Without notice, Rico shed tears. Her chest was tight, "I didn't know that you were this miserable Layla.forgive me.I'm sorry.I promised myself.I'll give you the rest of my life just for you and your baby, Layla." Rico took a deep breath, he rubbed both his eyeballs and smiled bitterly.

"You've been fighting all alone for so long, you've really been Layla's amazing woman, I'm ashamed to have no patience and the greatness of your heart in accepting all the bitterness of life you've lived..all the personalities that I didn't know about made me feel more confident.I'm not wrong in loving a woman as strong as you are Layla.."
