Kei And Layla

Kei And Layla
Chapter 3: The spark of love

"How was school today, baby?" tanya Anita sat on the edge of the bed staring at Layla who was lying on the bed.

"Ah Mother, exclaim Mom" replied Layla woke up from her sleep.

"I've had good friends at school."

"Oh yeah? Then Mother is not too worried, because you are good at getting along and carrying yourself" said Anita while rubbing Layla's head.

"Yes, Mom."

"Now you sleep, tomorrow you go to school." Anita kissed Layla's head. Then he left before turning off the previous lights. "Good night, dear." Said Anita in front of the door and then closed the door.

Layla let out a long sigh, then she exhaled slowly. It was not the three friends who invited his attention or lessons at school. But Kei's figure had already disturbed his mind at the beginning of the introduction.

"Her hair was blond as the sun was at dawn, his eyes were black and big as darkness was ready to swallow light."

Layla gave a small laugh and patted her own forehead. Then he pulled out the blanket and laid his body on the bed. Layla tries to close her eyes hoping for a quick morning and soon meets Kei again.

Early in the morning Layla was tidy with her school uniform. Without any difficulty Anita to wake up her only daughter.

"Mom's morning, Father's morning" he said while sitting on a chair directly taking a glass on the table and sipping warm milk that has been provided Anita.

"For Layla dear" Surya replied smilingly looking at her beautiful daughter and looking very neat.

"How's school?" surya asked while chewing the bread.

"Well Dad" Layla replied flatly.

"Today I can't take you Layla. You're just between Mom. Dad has a lot of work" said Surya rose from his seat.

"Yes Well."

"I'll go first." Surya kisses Anita and Layla's head crest in turn. He hurried away from home to his office.

"Sadly if you're done we better be brave. Let's not have any luck."

"Okay ma'am" replied Layla. Then he finished his warm milk and got up from sitting rushing out of the house towards the yard.

Anita frowned, shaking her head thinking that Layla was enthusiastic about attending every school lesson. What Anita thought turned out to be wrong. Layla is enthusiastic about going to school because she wants to quickly meet with Kei.

"Come on Ma!" exclamation Layla.

"Prophey dear" Anita answered hurriedly towards the courtyard. Layla and Anita got into the car and started leaving the yard.

Arriving at the school Layla immediately rushed into the school gate after saying goodbye to her beloved mother.

Today maths teachers don't teach because there's family business. Kei who became the class leader was asked to write on the blackboard according to what had been given by his teacher before asking permission not to teach.

Layla stared at the blackboard and then turned to Kei, who had just finished writing on the board. Stela, Asha and Valeri were busy taking notes. Layla's gaze could not be separated from the figure of Kei who was walking and sitting on his stool.

Kei who was feeling in noticed Layla. He turned his eyes to Layla. They looked at each other and smiled sweetly. Not realizing that his three friends were watching them both. A smile was etched on Kei's lips, making Layla sigh and bow her head.

"Cieee, someone's in love." Tempta Stela sat beside him.

"Ehem, we're in pecans!" timpal Valeri and Asha chuckled. Make all the students in the class pay attention to them. The classroom atmosphere became crowded by the whispers of the students. Soon the classroom atmosphere was quiet again because a teacher passed by and entered the classroom warning children not to make noise in learning hours.

An hour passed, the bell rang the sign of a break. All students leave the classroom to the cafeteria.

"Girl!" exclaim Kei.

Layla was a little surprised because she was thinking about Kei. "Yes?"

"We go to the cafeteria" said Kei approaching Layla and pulling his hand.

Layla got up from her seat and followed Kei and aligned her steps with her hands holding each other all the way. Arriving at the cafeteria Kei ordered food for the two of them and then chose a seat a little away from the other children.

"Here, eat." Kei throws a bowl of meatballs in front of Layla. He sat down next to Layla.

"Thank you" Layla said, staring at Kei for a moment, then shifted the bowl of meatballs to get closer to him.

"Let's eat, don't just look."

Shamedly Layla smiled and nodded her head. "Ah yes."

As long as they eat meatballs. Kei and Layla share stories about their hobbies. From the beginning of their meeting. Kei and Layla are already attracted to each other. They have the same hobby. I like to paint and make poetry. It is very easy for Kei and Layla to get closer and interested in each other. Those who were busy chatting arrived shocked by the arrival of Asha, Valeri and Stela.

"What did I say? we are now in Layla's peanut" Stela said as she sat in front of Layla and Kei.

"Haha!"

They simultaneously laughed loudly when they saw the look on Layla's face that held in shame. While Kei looks relaxed to hear the babbling of three friends.

"Layla, today we go home fast. Do you want to come with us to Stela's?" ask Asha to Layla.

"May" Layla replied staring at Asha.

"I'm coming" said Kei.

"Woww! Let's see this couple. Until they don't want to be separated" Stela cried while glancing at her two friends.

"Gwdvfst!" Asha and Valeri chuckled at the words Stela said.

"You can't, stop teasing me" Layla said as she pressed her lips forward.

"Let it go, maybe they're jealous." Kei laughed a little.

"Huuuu!!". Asha, Valeri and Stela simultaneously shouted at Kei.

When they finished eating. Stela takes Layla home. " Why are we going home?"

"Yes" Layla replied, then she got up from her seat following the others.

"We're home!" asha and Valeri.

They also went to the school yard. "You're coming with us, aren't you Layla?" stela asked, opening the car door.

"No, Layla left with me." Kei pulled Layla's arm.

"All right" Stela said and got into the car.

"We go first!"

Layla nodded, then turned to look at Kei who was descending from the top of the bike.

"Wear the helmet." Kei put a helmet on Layla's head.

"Thank you."

Layla nodded her head, then climbed onto the bike.

"Tight hold." Kei glanced at Layla for a moment. Then start running the motor following to three friends. Layla who had never ridden a motor held on tightly to Kei's waist, as Kei began to increase the speed of his motorbike.

"Are you scared?!"

"No" Layla replied as she tightened her arms around Kei's waist. Kei, who likes Layla's embrace, deliberately increases the speed of his bike and smiles to himself.

Fifteen minutes later, they arrived at Stela's house. Kei and Layla go straight into Stela's unlocked house.

"Layla here!" asha exclaimed when she saw Layla and Kei had reached the house.

They also talked while eating snacks that have been provided by Stela before. They share their stories and hobbies. With laughter and jokes that are thrown beautifully in the house of Stela.

Without feeling the time has shown at 17:03. Asha, Valeri and Layla as well as Kei, say goodbye to Stela. Valeri and Asha return home in their cars. While Layla was with Kei on the bike.

Kei hastened the speed of his motorcycle because the weather is overcast. The sky looks like a black cloud indicating that it will soon rain.

Not even Kei reached Layla's house. The rain has fallen very hard. Kei intends to stop first so as not to rain but Layla asks Kei to continue running his motorcycle. Layla doesn't want to make her Mom and Dad worried. Until he reached the front of the house, Layla's uniform was wet.

"You okay?" kei asked as he removed the helmet from Layla's head.

"Where have you been?" greet Anita.

Layla looked at her mother, then walked up to Anita. Followed Kei from behind.

" Where are you from, son? I'm picking you up at school gone, why worry about me?"

"Sorry Mom, Layla and I played to a friend's house" Kei replied politely.

"I'm sorry Layla Bu" Layla said slowly.

"Yes, I'm sorry. But tomorrow, you have to tell Mom if you want to play, so I don't worry."

"Yes Ma'am, I'm sorry Layla" Layla said, bowing her head.

"I'm sorry too Mom" said Kei.

"Yes, okay. Now you go in and change your clothes. You'll get sick later."

"Thank you Mom, I'm going straight home. Afraid I'm worried." Kei lowered his head.

"Alright, be careful on the road, son" said Anita.

"Layla, I'll go home first." Kei smilingly looked at Layla who nodded her head.

"Heart on the road" said Layla. Kei smiled at Layla then turned to look at Anita.

"I went home first Ma'am, and again I'm sorry" Kei said. Then he got on the bike and turned it on. Although Kei's clothes are dirty and wet. But Kei is very happy to be with Layla.

"Let's go in, baby."

***

Outside the school looks empty. All students have entered the study. Kei looked agitated, as Kei did not see Layla that morning. Layla's usual bench looked empty.

In front of the class a teacher was giving lessons to all the students and they listened carefully. Only Kei did not focus his attention on the lessons Teacher gave. He asked her where Layla was?

Hana as the homeroom teacher realized that one of her students was agitated and unfocused. He thinks Kei is not well.

"Look? Are you okay?" ask Hana.

But Kei just kept quiet, he lowered his head while tapping his finger on the table.Again Hana asked as he walked up to Kei and touched his shoulder, "Kei are you okay?"

Hana's question surprised Kei. He got up straight from his seat. "Yes Mom!".

All the students who noticed finally laughed. The atmosphere in the class became crowded.

" enough! stop laughing at your friends!" hana looked at all the students. The next second the class atmosphere went quiet.

"Mom asked you, are you okay?" tanyaHana insists once again.

"Anu Ma'am,"

"Yes?" Hana raised her two eyebrows waiting for Kei's next reply.

"I'm not feeling well" Kei replied lowering his head.

"Then you can go home and rest at home" Hana replied smiling.

"Thank you, Mom." Kei immediately picked up his bag and rushed half to run outside the classroom without saying goodbye.

"What's wrong with that kid?" Hana frowned staring at Kei's back until it was gone from sight.

"Let the children continue to learn!"

Meanwhile Kei continued to run towards the school gate. From her mouth did not stop mentioning Layla's name.

"Layla, Layla."

Kei seemed to have lost something in him. Until he was unfocused and agitated, all he had in mind was Layla.

Kei continued walking until he reached the side of the road. Then he took the ojeg directly to Layla's house.

Ten minutes passed, finally Kei had reached Layla's courtyard and directly knocked on Layla's door.

"Tok tok!!"

Two minutes passed by Kei waiting for someone to open the door. Shortly thereafter, a door was opened from inside the house. Anita came out of the house looking at Kei who looked agitated.

"Son? you're not in school?" tanya Anita noticed Kei who was still wearing a uniform at school hours.

"I've asked Ms. Ma'am for permission, I'm worried about Layla because today, she's not going to school" Kei replied as his eyes looked inside the house hoping Layla was there.

"Oh, Layla's sick. Maybe because he was rained yesterday. Let's go in." Anita lets Kei into the house and takes him to Layla's room.

"Laila!

Layla is both surprised and very happy that Kei is meeting her. Layla was agitated at the thought of Kei.

"Let's!" layla then got up from the bed and smiled looking at Kei .

"Mom make some warm chocolate first." Anita exited the room and headed straight for the kitchen.

Layla looked at Kei and smiled, "sit Kei."

Kei nodded his head for a moment, then he grabbed a chair not far from where he was standing. Then he sat on the chair. And they looked at each other long enough that the sound of Anita's steps shifted Kei and Layla's eyes. Anita came back and brought two glasses of warm chocolate and put them on the table.

"In drink yes" Anita told Kei and Layla. Then Anita went back out of the room leaving Kei and Layla to talk.

Not many words they say. Just being able to see each other makes them happy. No words can explain what they are feeling right now. Love has made them blind and deaf. Adolescence is a great time for Layla and Kei.
