Kei And Layla

Chapter 35: Consistent.

One morning, the atmosphere of Raiden's initially quiet office changed. Two police officers come to Raiden's office to arrest the company manager at Raiden's office. As the owner of the Raiden company has sniffed out the fraud committed by its Manager. Raiden did not expect that his confidants would embezzle money, and nearly bankrupt Raiden's company. Thanks to Raiden's decisiveness and ability to uncover the case, the Police managed to subdue the Manager who became the main suspect.

There was a fight between Raiden and his manager who had a tongue-tin. But with the arrival of the Police and strong evidence, the Manager could not lie anymore. The manager mentioned Yuda's name when the police interrogated him.

As a result the Manager was also in the midfielder to the Police Station. Raiden and Raiden went to the Police Station to provide the information needed.

When all is done, Raiden returns to Layla's house to meet her.

Arriving at Layla's house, Raiden does not find the figure of the woman of his heart. And according to Mbok Darmi, Layla left the house since about 06:30. And Mbok Darmi says Layla didn't say where she was going.

Raiden glanced at his watch which showed at 10:30. That means Layla's been gone four hours.

"Mbok, I'm looking for Layla first in maybe Layla went to see her friend." Raiden looked at Mbok Darmi.

"Good Den" replied Mbok Darmi.

Raiden leaves Layla's house and decides to go to the school of Surya.

Arriving at the school where his friend taught Layla was not there, Raiden was confused about where else to look for Layla. Then Raiden runs his car back down the highway hoping Layla can be found.

Suddenly Raiden saw Yuda walking with Dinda and Kei. They just got out of a restaurant.

Raiden decides to meet with Yuda and wants to question his manager's statement during the Police interrogation.

Raiden pulled his car over the side of the highway, and got out of the car to Yuda, Kei and Dinda.

"How are you, Mr. Yuda."Raiden looked at Yuda suspiciously.

Yuda, Kei and Dinda stopped their steps looking straight at Raiden.

"I want to talk to you" Raiden said.

Yuda smiled obliquely, glancing momentarily at Dinda and Kei. He thinks that Raiden will discuss the company's cooperation contract.

"Of course you can" said Yuda. "What do you want to talk about?"

"I know you're involved in embezzling the company's money, which my manager did." Raiden's eyes looked at Yuda full of probing.

Yuda widened his eyes to look at Raiden. He moved one step closer to Raiden.

"What did you say?" ask Yuda again.

Raiden smiled obliquely at Yuda, "are you deaf?" said Raiden.

Yuda snorted in annoyance, both of his hands pulling Raiden's collar, "pull your words, or you'll be sorry." Yuda stared at Raiden.

Raiden pulls both of Judah's hands and pushes Judah's body back, making Judah take two steps back.

"Far from before me!" exciting Raiden.

Yuda took a deep breath, he immediately approached Raiden and raised a fist on Raiden's face as fast as lightning without Raiden guessing.

"Feel this!" pekik Yuda's.

Raiden breezed to the side and nearly collapsed into the street, but Raiden was able to keep up with his body. He stood up straight again while touching his bloody nose.

"If you don't feel that way, why should you be angry?" ask Raiden.

"Sweety!" Yuda responds coldly to Raiden's question.

"Pa! don't fight!" exclaim Dinda. "Shame on seeing other people?!"

Dinda and Kei walked over to Judah and persuaded him not to serve Raiden. But Yuda refused, and he again threw a fist at Raiden's stomach. But this time Raiden was able to compensate so that the fight became a draw. Yuda and Raiden had bruises on the face and bleeding in the mouth.

The passersby were passing around the area, no one dared to separate them. Even the opposite, Yuda and Raiden become a spectacle of people who pass by.

"Stop!" pekik Layla runs to the middle of Raiden and Yuda who are fighting.

Layla's arrival arrives, making a crushing blow to Layla's stomach. Layla fell and collapsed onto the street.

"Girl!" crybaby Raiden.

"Layla, why are you here?" ask Raiden.

Raiden lifts Layla's body and holds her and takes her in the car.

"I'm coming!" exclaim Kei.

Raiden looked back, after closing the car door. Raiden smiled obliquely and said, "Layla is my business, not yours anymore." Raiden's eyes looked at Kei's hate.

"You're what the hell is Kei?- Dinda pulled Kei's arm,-"you're not who Layla is?"

Kei took a step back with a gaze towards the car glass looking at Layla who was in pain in the car. Kei could at least bear to see Layla get hurt. He desperately wanted to be next to her and take care of Layla's wounds.

"Let's go home." Dinda pulled Kei's hand, with a straight look towards Raiden who was standing next to the car.

"Our business is not finished yet, Judah!" exciting Raiden.

After saying that Raiden entered his car and immediately took Layla to the nearest Hospital.

Yuda rubbed the bloodstains on his lips with a straight forward look. He spit to the side and set foot ahead of Kei and Dinda. They finally returned to their steps back home.

Arriving at the Hospital yard, Raiden pulled his car over and got out of the car. Raiden holds Layla into the Hospital and checks Layla's stomach for a blow to Yuda.

After two hours passed the doctor did an examination, finally the Doctor allowed Layla to go home without having to be hospitalized. After taking care of all the administrative costs and drugs that must be purchased, Raiden finally brought Layla back home.

Twenty minutes later, Raiden reaches Layla's yard. Raiden got out of the car door and took Layla straight into Layla's private room and laid her on the bed.

"Layla, I'm sorry" Raiden said. "Because of me, you're like this." Raiden looked at Layla with a guilty look.

"It's not your fault." Layla smiled, her eyes looking sad.

I'm sorry," said Raiden.

"May I ask?" ask Layla.

Raiden nodded his head quickly.

"Please" replied Raiden.

"Why are you fighting with Yuda?" ask Layla.

Raiden bowed his head for a moment, then he recounted the incident this morning in his office. Raiden also says his suspicions all along against Yuda to Layla.

"I'm pretty sure that Yuda is involved" Yuda said.

Layla is stunned to hear all of Raiden's explanations. What Raiden thought turned out to be the same, as what Layla thought of Judah. But Layla did not want to dissolve in her suspicions, "Give everything to the Almighty" Layla said. "We just have to try and find a way out."

Raiden nodded his head. He smiled and bowed his body. He kissed Layla's head gently.

"Thank you."

Layla nodded her head looking at Raiden's face. His hand stretched out gently rubbed Raiden's cheek. Raiden held Layla's hand and kissed her.

"Now you rest" said Raiden. "I'll make you some warm milk." Raiden got up and stood up, and he left Layla's room for the kitchen.

'I do love Kei, but I also won't let anyone bother you Rai.' Layla said in her heart.

Shortly after, Raiden arrives with a glass of warm milk. Then he gave it to Layla.

"Thank you." Layla picked up the glass in Raiden's hand and sipped it slowly.

"Is your stomach still hurting?" ask Raiden.

Layla nodded her head as she placed the glass on the table nearby. "It's okay, the pain will also disappear." Layla looked at Raiden and smiled sweetly.

"Then you take a break, I'll wait for you on the couch" Raiden said.

Layla nodded her head for a moment, then she pulled the blanket and tried to close her eyes. While Raiden lay on the sofa guarding Layla while resting his body that felt pain all over the body.
