Kei And Layla

Kei And Layla
Chapter 65: The third person

In the middle of the night Layla woke up, slowly opening her eyes. He stared at the sky room for a moment, then he turned his gaze to the sofa. Layla sees Kei falling asleep on the couch.

"Key?" Layla was surprised that Kei was in her room. "How should I wake her?"

Layla pulled out her blanket and she got up and sat on the bed.

"Key.." he said slowly.

But Kei does not hear Layla's call, Kei falls asleep in Layla's room. He felt comfortable and calm after a long time he had difficulty sleeping.

"Let's!!" exclamation Layla.

Layla looked at Kei, "i have to wake him up" Layla said. "Clara must be worried waiting for Kei's return."

"Let's!" layla again.

Layla waited for a few minutes hoping Kei would wake up, but until the minutes passed, Kei did not wake up from his sleep.

"I have to wake him up, I have to.."

Layla turned to the table, and saw Kei's car keychain lying on Layla's bedside table.

Layla took the initiative to pick up the car's keychain, so she threw it at Kei to get up.

Layla's left hand was stretched out toward the table, but she was less close to the table. Then Layla tried her hardest to shift her own body. With great difficulty Layla tried to shift her body, the next minute she managed to slightly shift her body. Then Layla tried to retrieve the keys. But Layla still has trouble.

"Come on Layla, you can do it" Layla said softly.

Layla's fingers kept trying to reach for the car keys, "a little more Layla," he muttered to himself.

"Come on, come on, Layla..."

The more his fingers approached the car keys, the more his body shifted on the edge of the bed. Layla's hand managed to grab the car keys along with her body that rolled under the bed.

"Bukk!!"

Layla fell to the floor along with a car key that bounced far enough from where she fell.

Kei who heard the sound, immediately opened his eyes, he turned towards Layla's bed, and immediately woke up.

Kei immediately ran when he found Layla falling on the floor.

"Girl!" pekik Kei, while running towards Layla and directly lifting Layla's body and carrying her.

"What are you going to do Layla?" Kei laid Layla's body on the bed. "Is anyone sick?" tanya Kei watched Layla from head to toe.

Layla shook her head, "no Kei" he said slowly. "Key why are you sleeping on the couch? why don't you go home?" Layla looked at Kei's two eyeballs.

"I'm sorry Layla" Kei lowered his head for a moment. "I overslept."

"Key.go home."

"But Layla..." Kei did not continue his words.

"Kei, Clara must be looking for you. He must be worried" Layla said. "Go home."

"I don't want to go home to Layla." Kei sat on the edge of the bed grabbing Layla's two hands and grasping them tightly.

"Kei, my burden is quite heavy," said Layla Lirih. "Don't you add to the burden that I have to bear." Layla's eyes are glassy.

"Layla, I didn't mean it that way" Kei said. "I want to be around you tonight, take care of you Layla."

"I know Kei, but Clara will be hurt by your attitude."

"Then who's gonna care how I feel, Layla?"

Layla was speechless, she did not answer Kei's question, "no Kei, you have to go home."

"But Layla..."

Kei looked at Layla's two eyes that were getting wet with tears, "alright, I'll go home," Kei wiped Layla's tears. "But you don't cry baby, and promise me you'll be okay."

Layla nodded her head, "iya Kei." Layla's voice sounded hoarse.

Kei bowed, kissed Layla on the forehead inside, then he got up and stood up, "i'm coming home, you're resting and don't do anything to hurt yourself" Kei said. "I'll call Mbok Darmi to accompany you." For a moment Kei was silent looking at his lover's face. Kei smiled and then he put his foot forward, occasionally looking back at Layla.

Layla smiled at Kei, until she was lost behind the door. Layla immediately got up and sat on the bed as Kei closed the door of the room, his hand outstretched forward.

"Kei.." he said softly.

Layla lowered her hand, she lowered her head. His shoulders trembled withstanding the cries and tightness within the chest. Rolling by the tear drops soaked his blanket.

"Y..!!" layla's scream could not help but hold all her feelings raging within.

The door opened, Mbok Darmi entered the room and found Layla crying alone.

"Layla's gang!" Mbok Darmi immediately approached Layla and climbed onto the bed.

"Neng, why Neng," said Mbok Darmi hugged Layla.

"Mbok.." said Layla Lirih.

Mbok Darmi had glassy eyes, he rubbed Layla's back gently.

"Prophe Neng, leave everything to the Almighty" said Mbok Darmi to appease Layla. "Iklas, receiving everything is a powerful medicine Neng."

"Mbokk.." said Layla Lirih.

Mbok Darmi laid Layla's body down, then he wiped Layla's tears with the tissue on the table.

"Mbok dear to Neng Layla," he said slowly. "Now Neng rested and don't think too hard."

Layla nodded her head, "Mbok is sleeping here." Layla shares her pillow with Mbok Darmi. Then Mbok Darmi splashed down beside Layla while hugging Layla tightly.

While Kei had reached his yard, he stood at the door for a moment, and then he sat on the front porch.

"The house person must have been sleeping" he said slowly, glancing at his watch which showed at 02:30.

Then Kei took off his shoes, and he leaned his body on the chair.

"Layla." he said slowly with a straight forward look.

"Well remember coming home?" greet Clara from the door.

Kei glanced for a moment at Clara, then he turned his gaze forward again.

"Why don't you stop hurting my feelings, Kei," Clara walked up to Kei and sat down on the chair. "So important is your love for her than your own family, huh?" Clara is now the most selfish woman, she feels herself the victim of Kei and Layla's affair.

"I'm lazy to make a fuss with you."

"Kei, I don't want to keep making a fuss with you either" Clara replied. "But you made our household hell!"

"I want to sleep, I'm tired of your increasingly selfish babbling" Kei said.

Kei stood up and put his foot into the house.

"Let's! I'm not done talking!"

But Kei did not respond, he chose silence and entered the room. Clara grew increasingly upset over Kei's attitude and began to blame Layla as the third person in her household.

"This is all because of the woman who bullies it," said Clara growled. "Layla stop disturbing my household" murmured Clara.

Clara was silent for a moment, she thought about how to stop Kei's attitude. Finally Clara took the initiative to come to Layla tomorrow and discuss it with Layla.

"I'm going to see Layla" said Clara. "That's the only way." Clara nodded her head, feeling that what she thought was right. Then Clara stood up and stepped into the house.
