"Yes Doc?" Layla raised both eyebrows looking at Doctor Kenzi.
"You need to have a second surgery as soon as possible, because," said Dr. Kenzi, "the cancer cells are getting wider."
"Oh my God." said Asha Iirih.
Asha looked at Layla and rubbed Layla's back to calm down. Layla was stunned for a moment.
"How much longer can I hold Doc?" ask Layla.
"Layla, that's not my description, life and death someone only God knows" Dr. Kenzi replied.
"Let's just say Doc.I'm ready to hear it.." Layla said softly.

"Layla, you don't think about it." Asha embraces Layla's shoulder. Layla looked at Asha.
"Asha, I beg you. Let me know."
"But Layla..." Asha was unable to continue he said.
"Tell me the truth Doc, I beg you."
"Well if you force." Doctor Kenzi stood up and stepped over to Layla and squatted down in front of Layla. Doctor Kenzi grabbed Layla's hands and rubbed them gently with a straight look towards Layla.
"Say.." said Layla.
"Cancer cells are already expanding and damaging all brain tissue, and," says Dr. Kenzi, "you've only got a month left from now." Doctor Kenzi has glass eyes.
Layla was stunned, she silently stared at Doctor Kenzi with an expressionless look on her face. His eyes were soaked with tears, and slowly fell onto his cheeks and fell wet in Doctor Kenzi's hand holding Layla's hands together.
"Oh my God." said Asha softly, her eyes widened, looking at Layla, then embracing Layla's shoulders and holding her.
Doctor Kenzi lowered his head, he stood up and sat back down on the chair.
The sky is clear, a beautiful morning for some. But not for Layla, the morning was like a lightning strike, Layla's soul seemed to fly away from her body. It speaks a thousand languages. Only tears could represent all the feelings Layla was feeling right now.
"Dad, Mother, I'll catch up with you" Layla's voice trembled.
"No Layla, you must have the spirit of life" said someone from the open door.
Doctor Kenzi, Asha, turned to the direction of the voice, they saw Kei already standing in front of the door of the room, then approached Doctor Kenzi.
"Key?" asha said slowly.
"Say it's not true Doctor, tell me it's all a lie!!!" yelled Kei staring at Doctor Kenzi.
Doctor Kenzi just kept quiet, he didn't know how to answer. Doctor Kenzi knows, it will be all consequential if he says it all
"Why silence!" exclaim Kei, "say it's a lie!!"
Doctor Kenzi looked at Kei, "that's right, but we can still try."
"Brakkk!!!" Kei hitting the table with both hands made Asha startled.
"You lied!!" you lied!!" exclaim Kei.
His eyes seeped, "say it was a Doctor's lie" Kei said softly. He lowered his head, with both hands clutching the table.
Doctor Kenzi stood up and approached Kei, and patted Kei on the back for a moment, "life and death are God's business, we can only pray and try" Dr. Kenzi said. "if you can make Layla happy and calm, that'll be a big help."
Kei raised his face to look at the Doctor, then he stood up. "No!! exclaim Kei. " Say it's all a lie!!"
Kei grabbed Doctor Kenzi's collar, "say it's all a lie!"
Doctor Kenzi shook his head. Looking at Kei's two eyeballs.

Asha pulls Kei's arm and pushes Kei's body away from Doctor Kenzi.
"Enough!" peekkik Asha's.
"Yes Rabb" said Kei slowly.
Kei wiped his tears, then he walked up to Layla and hugged her tightly.
"Kei." said Layla Lirih.
"I know you're strong, I know you can heal Layla." Kei tightened his embrace.
"Key.I want to go home"
"Dear, I'll take you home" Kei replied.
Kei pushes Layla's wheelchair out of the room, followed by Asha's previous farewell to Doctor Kenzi.
"Key.." said Layla.
"Yes dear" Kei replied.
"Look! Layla pointed at a bird that flew high into the sky, in the hospital yard.
Kei looked up at the bird in the sky, "yes, I saw it."
Layla looked back at Kei.
"Someday, my soul will fly far away."
Kei walked in front of Layla and squatted in front of her. He put a finger on Layla's lips.
"Ssttttt, don't talk like that. You'll live longer with me Layla."
Layla bowed for a moment, "you don't have to comfort me Kei" Layla said. "I know my age won't be long."
"Ah, I have a gift for you."
Kei reached into his pants pocket, and took out a ring engraved with Layla and Kei's names on the ring.
"Happy birthday, Layla!" exclaimed Kei then kissed Layla on the forehead deeply.
"Thank you." Layal smiled looking at Kei.
"Wear, all the best prayers I give are only for you Layla" Kei said, pinning a ring on Layla's ring finger.
"You see?" asha says, "everyone loves you Layla, so hang on."
Layla nodded her head looking at Asha, her outstretched hand touching Asha's.
"You, Valeri, Stela, my best friend."
"Happy birthday dear." Asha bowed and hugged Layla tightly.
