Chapter 44: Amnesia

Meanwhile somewhere else. Kei is found by a wealthy businessman who has a one-week-old daughter. Her husband left the woman and her baby after giving birth to another girl. Until Clara has a cold attitude towards any man.

Clara stared at the figure of the man lying on the bed, it had been a month more since Clara was found, the woman had not been aware of her coma. Until Clara got married and took her home.

"How's he Doc?" clara asked Doctor Mira.

"His condition has improved, hopefully he quickly realized" replied Doctor Mira, after finishing examining the man who was none other than Kei

"I'm sorry sir" said Doctor Mira.

"Wait Doc!" clara exclaimed, she saw Kei's hand make a move.

The doctor looked back at Kei's moving hands, then he opened his medical equipment and examined Kei.

"He's starting to wake up, sir" said Doctor Mira.

"No!!"

Kei opened his eyes and woke up hysterically.

"Calm down." Doctor Mira touched Kei's shoulder to calm down.

Kei turned his head towards the Doctor, his face sweating. Kei looked around the room and his eyes were fixed on Clara.

"Who are you?" Kei turned to look at Doctor Mira. "Where am I?" asked Kei with a panicked face.

"Look, you're at Ms. Clara's house we found you wounded." Doctor Mira explained.

"I'm hurt?" tanya Kei looked at the puzzled Doctor Mira.

Doctor Mira nodded her head and smiled. "Whose name are you? and where's your house?" ask Dr mira.

"My name?" Kei frowned his two eyebrows, his face bowed.

"My name is who. and my house is where.I don't know.." replied Kei lirih.

"You don't remember your name?" ask Doctor Mira.

Kek shook his head, he was stunned for a moment trying to remember what his name was, but his efforts were in vain. Kei felt pain in his head.

"Mahhkk!"

Kei shouted holding his head which felt intense pain.

"Enough, you don't have to remember your name. Now you just take a break." Doctor Mira gives Kei a sedative. Shortly after, Kei fell asleep.

"What happened to him, Doc?" clara did not understand.

"It looks like he's having amnesia resulting in a violent bump on his head." The doctor took a paper and pen, and he wrote Clara a few prescriptions.

"Just don't make him think hard, and give him care and calm to recover quickly." Doctor Mira gives Clara a prescription paper.

"Will he recover his memory Doc?" ask Clara. His hand received a prescription paper from the doctor.

"It takes a long time to heal, but in the future who knows, he can recover quickly."

Then Doctor Mira said goodbye after all was finished, Clarapun deliver Doctor Mira to the front porch of his house. For a moment Clara was glued and thought hard. "What name should I give you?" murmured Clara slowly.

"Samuel" Clara's lips smiled as she discovered a new name for Kei.

Clara stepped into the house and headed straight for Kei's room. He was surprised because Kei was not in his room. Then he stepped into another room to look for Kei, but Kei was not in every room.

Clara returns to look for Kei in her nursery, where she has not checked, when Clara opens the door she sees Kei sitting on the edge of the bed holding her crying baby Clara.

Clara immediately approached Kei, worried that Kei would hurt her red baby. "What are you doing here!" exclaim Clara

Kei turned his head and looked at Clara. He put one finger on his lips.

"Sstt."

"You didn't say we had kids." Kei stood up to Clara.

"a, kid? we?" said Clara stuttering.

Kei nodded his head smiling at Clara. His hands stretched out to touch Clara's shirt slightly open the buttons of her shirt. Clara was very nervous. "What's our son's name?" ask Kei.

"Ddi, her name is Keila Pratama, her calling is Kei" Clara replied lowering Kei's hand from her chest.

"Keila?" Kei frowned looking at Adrian.

"Look..Kei.." Kei held onto his head which was hurting. Suddenly he falls unconscious and before Kei falls to the floor, Clara swiftly restrains Kei's body and hugs him tightly. Then Clara tried to bring Kei's body and she lay it on a large sofa not far from the baby's bed.

Clara sat on the edge of the sofa and tried to wake Kei up by patting Kej's cheek slowly. "Hey, wake up."

Shortly after Kei opened his eyes slowly, he saw Clara sitting next to him. Then Kej wakes up and smiles at Clara. "Sorry, I'm troubling you."

Clara nodded her head, "it's okay."

Kei turned to look at the sleeping baby, then turned to look at Clara.

"If we have a child, then what's my name?" ask Layla.

A moment Adrian was silent, then he mentioned a name that had been prepared.

"Samuel, your name is Samuel."

"Samuel?" Kei repeated the name. He felt foreign to the name. But Kei himself did not remember his own name.

"Now you go back to your room, and clean your body," Clara stood up. "There's a lot of clothes in the closet, I think it suits you." Clara thinks all of her husband's undressed clothes, which she once bought are suitable for Kei.

He nodded his head, then got up and got off the couch. "All right."

Then Clara drove Kei to the room. After that he again stepped foot into the workspace in Clara's house

An hour had passed, Kei had finished with himself. He then moved his foot towards the door of the room. " I forgot to ask whose name it was." Kei smiled remembering Clara. Then he set his foot in search of Clara.

"Mbok, where's my wife ?" kei asked the housekeeper named Minah.

"Maybe it's in Den's study" replied Minah bowing her head.

"Don't call me Den, I don't like it. Call me Samuel." Kei smiled to say his new name even though it felt foreign.

"Well Den" Minah replied smiling.

Then Kei took the initiative to make Clara green tea. After that Kei stepped foot into Clara's workroom in between Minah because he did not know where Clara's workspace was located.

Arriving at the door of the room, Minah returns to the kitchen and Kei knocks on the door first before he opens the door of the room. Kei smiled when he saw Clara staring at him. Kei immediately approached Clara and placed her green tea on the table.

"What are you doing?" tanya Kei stood behind Clara and wrapped both hands around Clara's neck.

Clara stared at Kei's arm that was coiled around her neck. "I'm at work" Clara replied, then she lowered Kei's arm from his neck.

"Am I bothering you?" asked Kei with a gloomy face.

"Ti, no, it's not," said Clara stuttering. "You're not bothering me Sam."

Kei smiled again looking at Clara. Then he sat down in the chair next to Clara and noticed Clara working in front of the monitor screen.

Clara felt awkward around Kei. She had never been noticed in such a way by the man she had married before.

Every day Kei helps Clara work in her office. In fact, he handled all the problems at Clara's company well. With Kei, Clara was very helpful. She can more often at home take care of her baby.

Clara's cold, snow-cold heart long ago began to melt seeing the sincerity and affection Kei gave her baby as well as her own. In Clara's heart grew a sense of admiration and affection towards Kei.

Kei considers Clara and Keila to be his husband and son. But even so, Clara never wanted to touch Kei. Even though his passion wanted that. Clara is afraid of loving Kei too deeply. What if he already has a wife?
