Chapter 43: Abduction 2

Layla and Raiden were standing behind the door, waiting for the moment when someone entered the warehouse. Seconds passed, minutes changed. Layla and Raiden patiently waited for the moment to escape.

What Raiden and Layla plan to do is pay off, someone opens the door from the outside. Raiden was ready with a beam in his hand to hit.

"Czech" the sound of the door being opened.

One burly man broke into the barn to make sure Raiden and Layla didn't act before they were executed later that night at around 02:30.

The man was surprised to see around, he did not see Raiden and Layla, then he turned back to call his friend. But before the man made a sound, Raiden first hit the man on the nape.

"Bugg!"

The man fell to the floor, he had held his nape that felt pain and dizziness in the head. Back Raiden hit the man's back and head until he fell unconscious before avenging Raiden.

Hearing the commotion inside the warehouse the other man ran over and the landung lunged at Raiden to the side and fell to the floor. Raiden immediately woke up and hit the man, finally there was a fight in the warehouse. Layla who had been standing up noticed. Finally he took the initiative to pick up a block of wood lying on the floor.

Layla immediately threw the block of wood at Raiden. Raiden immediately took the wooden block and swung the beam towards the burly man's face. The man fell to the floor. Not wanting to waste any more time, Raiden directly smashed into the man's body so as not to dwell anymore. Raiden directly threw the wooden beam carelessly. Then he pulled Layla's hand and took her away from the warehouse.

Raiden and Layla keep running for a way out, but when Raiden and Layla find a way out, they are put in collars by Yuda who just got inside the factory.

Seeing Raiden and Layla who managed to escape, Yuda immediately chased after them and pointed a gun at them both.

"Dorrr!

Yuda repeatedly opened fire at Layla and Raiden who continued to run, until the target of Yuda's gun missed. Layla and Raiden finally get out of the factory. Arriving at the factory yard, Raiden and Layla see a car approaching him. They want to avoid the car.

" Layla! Raiden!" yelled Kei who had just arrived.

Layla and Raiden stop their steps hearing their names being called by someone they know. Raiden Layla came to Kei's car and got into the car.

"Let's hurry Kei, we get out of here!" raiden shouted while closing the door. Kei directly runs his car at high speed towards the highway.

Meanwhile, Yuda did not want to lose them, then he immediately got into the car and chased after Kei's car which drove very fast. Finally it happened to be chasing in a fairly muddy road.

"Hey, even faster!" raiden looked back at the car of Yuda chasing them, while Yuda continued to point his gun at Kei's car.

"Dorrr!!"

The sound of the gun shooting towards the right rearview mirror until it broke, Raiden, Kei and Layla were surprised to make Kei's focus split. He turned his car towards the plantation. Kei continued to break through until he lost his balance.

"Dorr!"

Yuda pointed his gun again right at Kei's car tire. Yuda laughs to see Kei's car lose balance. The downhill road because it was a plantation near the foot of the hill made Kei unable to control the car whose tires were hit by bullets.

Kei's car continued to fall down, the dark situation and the misguided road caused panic in the car.

Raiden hugs Layla tightly, while Layla screams hysterically as Kei's car hurries down a cliff Kei doesn't know.

"Aaahhhhhhhkkk!!! Layla screams as fast as she can in Raiden's arms.

" Gubragggs!!

Kei's car slid down into the bottom of the ravine which was a very deep and swift river flow.

"Byurr!!"

Kei's car was washed away by the flow of the river and repeatedly hit the rocks in each stream.

"Finally, you're dead too!"

Yuda continued to stare at Kei's car which continued to drift along the river until it disappeared from view. Soon after, Yuda decided to go home. But when he turned back, Yuda was very surprised to see five police officers were pointing a gun at him.

"Don't move! We have surrounded you!"

Yuda was about to escape, but the police quickly chased him and shot him in the leg, collapsing to the ground. Yuda was arrested by the police that night with two of his colleagues. And brought to the police station to be processed legally.

Then the police dropped off the SAR team to look for the whereabouts of Layla, Raiden and Kei who entered the ravine.

That night, the police and SAR team searched Layla for a full day of SAR teams searching for the three of them, along the river where Kei's car had fallen.

Mbok Darmi, Mang Usman and Kei's parents are waiting for news from the SAR team anxiously, because they have not been successful all day.

The second day the SAR team again searched until the river flow to another city. The SAR team continued to search until it came to fruition. Raiden and Layla are found caught between trees on the riverbank. But unfortunately, the SAR team did not find Kei.

Then the SAR team took Layla and Raiden to the hospital, and they were pronounced alive.

The SAR team again continued its search to exceed the specified limit, but the SAR team did not manage to find Kei. The search was closed because it had taken almost a month.

A month later, Layla and Raiden have recovered and are allowed to go home. But Layla was paralyzed due to collisions in her body and head. Raiden is not paralyzed.

"Has Kei been found?" ask Layla to Raiden.

Raiden shook his head. "The SAR team has closed its search."

Layla shook her head, "impossible, impossible." Layla's eyes are glassy.

"Yes that's right." Raiden touches Layla's shoulder to calm down.

"No..Kei is alive..Kei is still alive." he said softly.

"Y!!" Layla screamed hysterically and cried, she hit her legs which she could no longer move.

Raiden and Mbok Darmi try to calm him down. But it didn't work.

"Layla already thinks of me as her brother," Raiden sat on the edge of the bed. "Me and you, we'll find Layla bye."

Layla looked at Raiden's face with a sob.

"You believe me, if Kei's alive?" ask Layla.

"It's not just you who lost Kei," Raiden wiped the tears that almost fell. "But me, Om Abdul and Aunt Alya still believe that Kei is alive."

Layla hugs Raiden. "Never leave Kei,"

"You calm down Layla."

Layla nodded her head. "I want to go home now."

"Alright, but you don't cry anymore, believe me that I won't leave you and I will also look for Kei.

Layla just kept quiet, she stared at her two legs that could not be moved anymore. Now Layla's life will depend on others. Layla closed her eyes smiling bitterly. Is this life?
