Chapter 42: The Abduction

"Tok tok!"

The sound of the door from outside Layla's room on tap. Layla opened her eyes and she got out of bed. He moved his foot straight to the door and opened it.

Layla saw Mbok Darmi standing in front of the room door. "There's Mbok?" ask Layla.

Mbok Darmi lowered his head for a moment, "sorry Neng, there was a call from Den Raiden" said Mbok Darmi. "Said, Den Raiden can't take Neng to the funeral of the same father's mother."

Layla nodded her head staring at Mbok Darmi. "Yes, it's okay Mbok."

"Then, excuse me" said Mbok Darmi then he stepped into the kitchen.

Layla sighed deeply, then she closed the door of the room, and stepped her foot towards the bathroom.

thirty minutes passed, Layla had finished with herself. He was wearing white clothes. Layla went straight out the room to the door.

"Layla's gang!" mbok Darmi.

"Yes Mbok?" ask Layla. He looked at Mbok Darmi who approached him.

"Isn't breakfast first?" ask Mbok Darmi.

Layla shook her head looking at Mbok Darmi. "Let's go Mbok, after the funeral" Layla smiled.

"Well, Neng, be careful on the road."

Layla nodded, then she stepped out the door of the house, followed by Mbok Darmi from behind.

"Be careful Neng!" mbok Darmi.

"Tumben, you're worried about Eneng" Mang Usman said from behind.

Mbok Darmi looked back. "Yes sir, I don't know from the morning how I feel bad." Mbok Darmi explains his unusual feelings.

Layla walked down the path, heading for the cemetery with a bouquet of flowers. Layla felt a car stalking her from behind. He turned and pulled over to see a black car parked not far from where he was standing. Then he decided to continue his footsteps.

"Be quiet" said the man from behind, dragging Layla's body. Layla tried to rebel but her strength was unable to keep up with the burly man.

Layla is forced into the black car, Layla sees another man sitting smiling, he immediately ties into Layla's two hands and Layla's mouth with a cloth. The man also closed Layla's eyes.

Layla tried to escape and scream, but her efforts were in vain because her mouth was covered with cloth. Soon Layla felt the car start to go fast.

Layla does not know where she will be taken by the two men. But he just felt the car turn and walk straight.

Layla begins to feel aching, as the two men take Layla to a distant place. Layla herself had no idea where she was.

Soon, Layla senses the car coming to a halt, and the two men grab Layla's arm and force her down from the car and are dragged to a place Layla herself doesn't know. There is only darkness.

Soon, the two men took Layla to a very large warehouse. The two men opened their blinders, their mouths and their hands.

Layla blinked her eyes many times to adjust the lighting. Layla stared around the warehouse. And his eyes were fixed on a very familiar man sitting on a chair and smilingly looking at him.

"Om Yuda?" Layla widened her eyes to look at Yuda.

"Welcome Layla." Yuda stood up and immediately approached Layla, in his hand holding a glass of alcoholic beverages.

"What did Om mean to kidnap me!" layla exclaimed a step back, but her body hit the burly man standing behind her. Layla glanced a moment back and looked back at Yuda.

"You want to know why I kidnapped Layla?"

"What's my fault Om?" ask Layla.

"Who are you?"-Juda brought his face closer to Layla's face-"many Layla."

"Om, I beg you.let me go.." said Layla Lirih.

"Haha!" Judah laughed so hard that he could hear.

Yuda stopped his laughter, then glared at Layla. "You caused my daughter to die, Layla."

"Dinda's death wasn't my fault Om," Layla took a deep breath. "Dinda died because of Om."

"Shut up!" pekik Yuda's.

Yuda grabbed Layla by the face and threw her to the side. "No need for you to talk much Layla, save your energy. Because you'll be catching up with Dinda soon."

Layla was speechless staring at Yuda, she never thought, if Judah would hold such a great grudge.

"You take care outside! don't let him run away!" Judah ordered his men to go out of the barn room and stand guard at the door.

The two men nodded, and stepped out of the barn. Judah from behind.

Layla runs towards Yuda and pulls Yuda's arm. "Take off me Om!"

Yuda turned to look at Layla for a moment, then he brushed off Layla's hand and pushed Layla's body hard. Layla's body staggered back and sat on the floor.

Yuda laughed at Layla, then he stepped out of the barn and locked the barn door from the outside.

Layla got up from her seat and ran towards the door, then banged on the door of the warehouse loudly. I wish Judah would open the door and let go.

Layla finally gave up, whatever she said and did, unable to touch Judah's conscience filled with resentment and anger. Layla took a step back and then she turned her legs back to the chair not far from where she was standing. He sat in a chair and thought about his life.

Layla turned her face and her eyes closed. "Yes Rabb, if I have to die at the hands of Judah, I am ready, O Rabb, I will do it" Layla said softly.

I don't know how long Layla had sat and ended up falling asleep on the chair. Until the sound of the door opened, Layla woke up from her sleep. Layla opened her eyes looking at the door for a moment. Then he got up and stood straight to the door. But his steps were stifled when he saw the door open. Layla sees the two burly men pushing a man Layla knows. Then the man closed the door again.

"Raiden!" layla exclaimed towards Raiden who stood fixedly staring at Layla.

"Lail." Raiden hugged Layla tightly.

"Om Yuda, Rai..Om Yuda.." said Layla lirih in Raiden's arms.

"I know Layla." Raiden rubbed Layla's back to calm down.

"What should we do Rai?" layla looked at Raiden's face.

"I don't know Layla, but we have to get out of here" Raiden replied. Then she kissed Layla deeply.

"We think of Layla's way out, don't be afraid. I'm right here."

Layla nodded her head, then they began to make a plan to escape.

Meanwhile Mang Usman and Mbok Darmi are very worried, because it is night but Layla has not yet returned home. Even this afternoon Mang Usman had followed Layla to the funeral but Layla was not found. Mang Usman only found a bouquet of flowers in the middle of the road. Then Mang Usman also looked to Layla's friend's house, but Layla also did not come there.

Mang Usman immediately contacted Raiden, but according to Raiden's domestic assistant also said that Raiden had not returned from morning. That made Mbok Darmi's suspicions stronger. If anything happens to Layla.
