Chapter 81: How hard is it to forget?

On Rico's return from Dr. Kenzi, he stepped foot into the room where Layla was being treated, followed by Raiden and Sila from behind. The two of them no one opened their voices at all during the walk. As Rico opened the door, they saw Layla staring blankly at the sky of the room. Rico let out a long sigh and turned to look at Raiden and Sila. Raiden nodded his head for a moment towards Rico gesturing to calmly face Layla. Then Rico turned his eyes back to Layla. He walked and sat in a chair.

"Are you okay?" asked Rico to sit on the bedside chair. Layla turned her head towards Rico and smiled, then turned to look at Raiden and Sila.

"I'm fine, where are you from? I was waiting for you from earlier" Layla replied.

Rico grabbed Layla's hand, then held her tightly and said, "sorry."

Layla smiled again, she looked at the look on Rico's sad face. "What's wrong? did something bad happen to me?" tanya Layla looked at them one by one.

Rico shook his head quickly, "no dear.you're fine."

"Don't lie.I know you can't lie." Layla holds Rico's hand firmly.

"I'm..." Rico did not continue, he said.

"Say.." cut Layla.

"Layla.I told you, nothing."

"Lied..!" Layla was a little rough.

"If I'm lying.What's the difference with you, Layla?" rico was a little upset.

"I? what did I lie to?" Layla asked Rico, not making a mistake.

"Hhhhhh.." Rico sighed resentfully, he no longer knew how to explain to Layla to stop thinking about Kei and his difficult past. But it feels too selfish if he has to impose his will on others even though by being turned over for the good of Layla herself.

"Here Layla.just think about the baby in your womb" Rico said. Then he stood up from his seat, he decided to leave the room but Layla prevented him.

"Rican! where are you going?! sahut Layla's. Rico doesn't care about it.

Layla tried to get up but what power, her body was already difficult to move. Raiden, who had been watching, tried to help Layla get up and lean on the pillow. " Riko!" layla exclaimed again with a hoarse tone of voice.

Rico stopped his steps, he turned to Layla and said, "what else is Layla? you better take a break" Rico replied.

"No! peekit Layla's. " I won't calm down if you keep quiet like this?!" layla's voice rang out, she tried to hold back the tears, even though the tear had fallen in the corner of her net.

"Layla, you don't cry." said Sila, she gave Layla a tissue and turned to look at Rico. "Rican! don't be selfish!" snarl Please. He could not bear to see Layla crying.

Rico paused his intention to leave the room, he walked back to Layla. He stared at Layla's two teary eyes.

"Whatchu mean? why are you like this?" ask Layla while sobbing.

"You still asking?" Rico chuckled at Layla's question. She felt Layla was deceiving too much and covered up all her sadness and pretended to be happy with her.

"What's my fault." said Layla Lirih.

"You want to know your fault, Layla?!" Rico walked over and grabbed Layla's hand.

"It hurts." Layla said trying to let go of Rico's hand.

"Listen well, because I won't talk a second time." Rico stared intently at Layla's eyes. "You are preoccupied with yourself, you are more concerned with your feelings for an irresponsible man than with thinking about your health.how your baby is.how you struggle to live!" Rico had his chest up and down trying to hold back his emotions.

"I'm..." Layla did not continue her words.

"I what?!" cut Rico. "If you don't feel like living anymore, that's your right, Layla! but at least you did it for your baby!" Rico threw Layla's hand violently. Layla's cry finally broke, Sila immediately approached Layla and hugged her tightly. Raiden walked up to Rico.

"You don't have to act like that to Layla!" snapped Raiden.

"Other thing should I do? do I have to be gentle and let Layla destroy herself? or I should treat him harshly to make him realize that there are others who want him alive! and you know who? me.yeah.me and babyhe's alone!" peekik Rico was no longer able to control his emotions, he spilled all his frustration at that moment.

Raiden nodded his head, he understood Rico's intent. Not that he did not feel what Rico felt but before Rico, he had first felt and tried hard so that Layla would forget Kei.

"You know? I was in your position too. But that doesn't mean you have to be rude!" raiden stared intently at Rico.

Sila who watched them while hugging Layla, then she got up and walked up to the two of them, "enough! it's not time for you to argue!" Please snatch at them both. "Women's feelings are certainly different from yours, but that doesn't mean a woman's heart is insensitive to what you think! don't you feel sorry for Layla?" say Sila with a raucous tone of voice. Raiden embraces Sila's shoulder, he does not want Sila's content to be disturbed by the problem.

"I'm sorry baby.I'll be quiet, I'll be quiet" Raiden said. The two of them looked at Rico who lowered his head for quite a while. "I'm sorry, Ric."

Rico rubbed his face, then he looked at the two of them. "It's okay, you don't have to apologize.maybe I'm overreacting."

"I beg you, let Layla calm down" said Sila.

Rico nodded his head, then turned to look at Layla who was still sobbing. "I'm sorry, Layla." Rico sat on the chair and wiped Layla's tears with his hands. "Don't cry anymore, we go home now."

Layla just kept quiet, she kept crying a mouthful. Rico finally hugged Layla to calm down and stopped crying. "Sorry.I'm sorry."

Layla was still silent, she did not say a word. His heart was too sore but not because Rico had been rude to him. But Rico's words seemed to slap him so many times that he was no longer able to say words.

"We go home" said Rico. Then he stood up and lifted Layla's body and carried her to sit in a wheelchair. "Don't cry, wipe away your tears." Rico placed the tissue on Layla's palm. Then he pushed the wheelchair out of the room, followed by Raiden and Sila. They walked to the hospital yard.
