Kei And Layla

Kei And Layla
Chapter 17: The old wound

Layla was ready to wait for Raiden to pick her up. Soon Layla heard the sound of a car parked outside the house. Layla rushed out of the house to check. Raiden appeared with a simple appearance using a white T-shirt and middle knee-length shorts smiling towards Layla.

"Are you ready?" Ask Raiden to Layla.

Layla nodded her head. "Yes." Yeah."

"Then we leave, eh did you say it was with Miss Kartika?" Ask.

"It." Layla answered briefly.

"Okay, let's go." Raiden walks towards the car, followed by Layla from behind. Then Raiden opens the car door for Layla. After Layla gets into Raiden's car, Layla gets into the car and runs to Raiden's house.

Along the way, Raiden asks Layla to chant a poem. Because Raiden really likes Layla's poetry. Layla happily recites some poems, and Raiden does not know at all if the poem Layla chants is intended only for a Kei.

Soon Raiden and Layla arrive at Raiden's house. Raiden pulls out of the car door and opens the other car door for Layla. Then Raideng invited Layla into his magnificent home. Arriving inside the house, Layla watched the entire room and looked quiet. Because Raiden lived alone in the house only accompanied by two house assistants. Raiden's two parents are out in Japan. While he runs his father's business in Indonesia as a branch of his business in Japan.

"Sit down." Raiden lets Layla sit in the living room chair.

Soon a woman came in with drinks and snacks and put them on the table. When she finished, the woman returned to the kitchen.

"Are you not lonely living in a house this big alone?" Layla asked as she looked around the room.

"It's lonely, but I don't have a future wife to live with here yet." Answer Raiden.

"Why don't you go find a future wife?" Ask Layla again.

"Nothing is suitable." Raiden looked at Layla. There is Raiden's interest in Layla who is simple and looks indifferent.

"Oh, can I help you find it?" Layla said with a small laugh teasing Raiden.

"May, but I want you anyway." Answer Raiden.

Layla thinks Raiden's words were just a joke. " Oh, can you." Layla answered.

"Seriously??!"

Layla laughs at Raiden's widening expression looking at Layla. " No, I'm just kidding" Layla replied.

"Oh." Raiden said slowly.

In the middle of the conversation between Raiden and Layla began to warm up because Layla's personality is easy to carry himself makes anyone comfortable when talking to Layla. Raiden's cell phone rang. Raiden reached into his pants pocket and grabbed his phone. The screen of the mobile phone is named Yuda.

"Just Layla." Raiden. You see, he shifted the green icon and placed it in the ear.

"Hello good afternoon." Sapa Raiden's.

"Oh, Mr. Yuda. What's up?" Raiden asked and he stood up and moved, so Layla could not hear their conversation. Ten minutes later, Raiden finished talking on the phone and returned to his seat. "Sorry Layla, just called me. He asked me to join his company that was starting to get into trouble." Raiden explained without Layla asking.

"Oh." Layla answered briefly.

"He wants to come here with his daughter, so stop by he said."

Layla just nodded her head, listening to Raiden.

"Tit!" The sound of a car horn was heard from Raiden's yard.

"Well, it must be them. Don't you mind us talking to Yuda, Layla?" Ask Raiden.

"Bok, please open the door." Raiden asked his housekeeper to open the door after a bell rang. Soon enough, the guest Raiden was referring to entered the house.

"Good day, Mr. Yuda."

"Ready Mr Rai." Yuda replied as he held out a hand shaking Raiden's hands.

"This is my daughter Dinda." Yuda.

Layla is stunned to hear Dinda's name, reminding her of Dinda's wife Kei. Layla looked back at Tuda and Dinda. How surprised Layla was to see the two of them that Layla already knew. Layla never expected to see them again at Raiden's house.

"You!" Yuda cried when he saw Layla.

"Laila?" Dinda looked at Layla.

While Raiden frowned watching all of them. Raiden tried to follow the plot that happened.

"Crazy girl! what are you doing here? oww..don't you seduce Mr. Rai for not getting Kei? basic cheesy!" Yuda immediately insulted Layla because he was still upset Layla had humiliated at the wedding. Since then, Yuda's business has declined dramatically.

"Pa! we better get home, I don't want to see him!" Dinda pulled out Yuda's hand to go home soon.

"Sorry Mr. Rei, I'm sorry, about the business we're talking about tomorrow at the office." Said Yuda staring at Raiden who frowned inexplicably.

"And you crazy girl, don't try to ruin Mr. Rai !" Hardik Yuda stared angrily at Layla. While Layla just silently sculpt without replying to the word Yuda.

"Excuse me sir, I changed my mood because I saw that crazy girl." Yuda. He then left Raiden's house. Raiden crossed his two hands across his chest staring at Layla's glass-glazed eyes. "Are you okay?" Raiden asked Layla who just stood there and let her tears fall.

"Layla, if you don't mind. Tell me what really happened."

Layla dropped her body on the chair and cried a mouthful by covering her face with both hands. Layla again felt the pain, the old wounds she tried to keep neatly in the recesses of her deep heart and she locked the tight knot. Finally the wound returned.

Raiden lowered his hands, then squatted down in front of Layla. "Layla listen, tell me what's going on? and what is your relationship with Judah and his daughter?" Raiden asked increasingly. Then Raiden took the tissue on the table and put it on Layla.

"Remove Layla's tears."

Layla lowers her hand and picks up the tissue in Raiden's hand. She tears her eyes and starts talking. "You want to know?" Ask Layla. Raiden nodded his head and stood up then sat down beside Layla. Layla began to tell the first story of knowing Kei until it ended at the wedding. With tears in her eyes was the longing word for Kei, at the end of Layla's story.

Raiden took a deep breath, moved to hear Layla's love story. He just understood why Layla was like this. Living alone away from her parents. Raiden is more amazed and likes Layla, there is a desire in his head to help Layla. But he was also furious with the two old man Kei who had sold his own flesh blood for the sake of treasure.

Raiden pulls Layla's shoulder and she rests Layla's head on her shoulder.

"Remove Layla's tears, you've had enough to cry. You're a tough woman and I like you." Raiden's words revealed what he thought of Layla.

"You're not ashamed to be friends with me, once you know all this?" Layla asked in between her sobs.

"No Layla, you're a different girl, you're unique." Answer Raiden.

"I'm sorry, 'cause I brought you here to hurt you." Raiden stared at Layla.

"It's not your fault Rai." Answer Layla.

A moment of silence there was no talk. Layla thinks of Kei, while Raiden thinks of Layla.

"Rai, I'd better go home." Layla then stood looking at Raiden.

"Alright if that's what you want." Raiden then stood up and held Layla's hand. Raiden finally sends Layla home in a state of sadness. Raiden apologized many times.
