Chapter 72: Farewell

"Tie! where to?! ask Sila.

Please run over to Raiden who just came out of his office.

" I want some business, you don't come!" exciting Raiden.

"Come on, baby..."

"What the hell, don't be spoiled" Raiden said.

"Follow..." Please slither spoiled in Raiden's arm.

"Huffftttt, okay okay, let's hurry!" Raiden opened the car door for Sila, following Raiden from the other car door.

"Where are we going?" ask Sila.

"Hospital," answered Raiden.

"Who's sick?" ask Sila to be curious.

"Don't bring it!" Raiden then drives his car to the hospital to see Dr. Adrian.

Raiden wants to know about Rico, he assumes that Doctor Adrian knows everything about Rico, considering Doctor Adrian is the Layla family's personal doctor since Layla has not been born.

It didn't take long, Raiden had reached the hospital yard and headed straight for Doctor Adrian's office.

"Please sit down" said Dr. Adrian.

"Thank you Doc," answered Raiden lowered his head, and sat down on the chair opposite Doctor Adrian. While Sila sat beside Raiden.

"Your tumbens are here? anything important about Layla?" Doctor Adrian found it strange to see Raiden want to meet in person, even though it was only yesterday morning, Doctor Rico gave Layla the results of the examination.

"Sorry Doc before, I've disrupted Doctor's working hours" Raiden said politely.

"It's okay" replied Dr. Adrian

"I want to ask you about Doctor Rico."

"Why with Doctor Rico?" doctor Adrian asked in surprise.

"It's not what Doc is, I'm just confused by Doctor Rico's attitude."

"Buddy?" Doctor Adrian frowned looking at Raiden.

"This is Doc."

Raiden begins to recount all of Doctor Rico's attitudes and remarks during this time, and Raiden feels awkward about all of that.

Doctor Adrian laughed, "hahaha."

Raiden knitted his eyebrows together, and so did Sila. They were even more strange to see the attitude of Doctor Adrian.

"Rico is Layla's fiancee" said Adrian.

"Fiancee? how can?" ask Raiden. Raiden expressed his disbelief, because as far as Raiden knew, Layla had never met Rico. And they only met once on Layla's seventeenth birthday.

"Look at Rai.."

Doctor Adrian then tells about Rico, Rico is the son of friends Anita and Surya, since on the birthday of Anita and Surya betrothed them, coincidentally since the first meeting, since the first meeting, Rico is already in love at first sight despite being peppered with insults for Layla. When Layla becomes ill from Kei's first marriage, Anita and Surya force Laya to get engaged to Rico. Anita and Surya do not care about Layla's unstable condition.

But since Rico finds out that Layla loves Kei, Rico doesn't want to get close to Layla or say she's engaged. Rico chose to pay attention to Layla from a distance.

"So, it's only natural that Rico knows everything about Layla." Dr. Adrian ends the story.

"How does the doctor know?" ask Sila.

"I'm their best friend and personal doctor, son."

Raiden and Sila nodded their heads in understanding.

"Thank you Doc for the information" Raiden said politely.

"It's the same" said Doctor Adrian. "Let Rico do his thing to take care of Layla."

"I understand Doc" replied Raiden. "Then I'm sorry, and I'm sorry to interrupt Doctor's time."

Doctor Adrian nods his head, and Raiden and Sila say goodbye to go home.

Arriving in the saki yard, Raiden and Sila immediately entered the car to Sila's house.

" That's dong, it's funny." Please pinched the fat cheek of Raiden, Raiden glared at Sila, followed by Sila's laughter made Raiden laugh.

"It looks like I'm pregnant" said Clara.

Kei took a deep breath. He glanced at Clara who looked pale.

"I'll call the Doctor" Kei replied.

Then Kei calls the Doctor home to check on Clara's health.

"You're doing it, soon the doctor will be here."

Shortly after the Doctor came, Clara was immediately examined by Doctor. It turns out Clara's guess is right, if she's pregnant with Kei's child. Good news for Alya, Abdul and Keila, the main guests of Clara. But not for Kei.

It was not that Kei did not accept the existence of his prospective flesh and blood, but that Kei deeply regretted his easy deception twice, once with Dinda, and now with Clara.

Kei rushes towards Layla's house after getting word that she is going to be a father, and Clara manages to separate Kei and Layla for good.

Arriving at Layla's house, Kei gets a hitch from Rico. Rico doesn't want to see Layla getting sad and down. But Kei keeps forcing and promises Kei not to see Layla again. Although it was a very tough decision, Kei had to do it. Because he felt ashamed of himself.

"What is Kei." said Layla softly, she was lying on the bed, then she got up and sat down.

"Layla...." Kei was unable to continue his words.

"Look? what's up?" ask Layla.

"Layla, I'm sorry, I'm sorry" Kei bowed his head for a moment.

"I'm sorry for what Kei?" ask Layla not to understand.

"Why Kei? say?!" cut Layla.

"I want to be Layla's father" Kei said in tears.

"Layla, I'm sorry..."

"There's nothing to forgive Kei, nor am I angry. I'm just disappointed" Layla said, trying to hold back her tears.

"You're disappointed in me, aren't you?" ask Kei.

"I'm disappointed in myself" Layla replied with a faint smile.

"Layla, maybe you're disgusted at me, or even you hate me, but I have to say it even if it's hard." Kei swallowed his saliva hard.

"Tell me Kei" Layla said, her voice hoarse.

"I'm sorry, because today is the last day I see you."

"But why?" ask Layla.

"No Layla, I've betrayed you and I'm going to be a father too."

"Key.you."

"Yes Layla, I'm sorry.forgive me."

Kei got up and stood up, then he stepped out of his legs leaving Layla with a thousand wounds in Layla's heart.

"Let's!" exclamation Layla. "You can't just leave me alone Kei!" scream Layla.

Layla screamed with all her might. To bring out the tightness in the chest.

"Ahhhhhhkk!!

Layla hit her chest many times to stop her crying, but her efforts were in vain.

" Y!! you've been unfair to me, Kei!"

Rico who had been listening behind the door, walked up to Layla and hugged her tightly.

"Kei's not wrong, you're expecting Layla too much" said Rico stroking Layla's back to calm down.

"This is unfair! this is all unfair!"

Layla suddenly felt tight, Layla's head drooped, she fell unconscious in Rico's arms.

"Layla.." said Rico slowly.

Rico lays Layla's body on the pillow, then he stands up and walks to pick up a medical device, quickly putting all the medical devices in Layla's body, then he called Dr. Kenzi to bring him the less medicine.

"Layla, take care of your suffering, dear." said Rico.
