Chapter 67: Doctor Rico

"I'm not weak, I'm tired" said Layla Lirih.

Layla wipes away her tears, who can stand it? in such a situation?

Layla bangin and sitting on the bed, she thought of all Clara's words this morning.

"Everyone thinks I'm guilty, I'm the one accused" Layla said. "You're right, what are they accusing me of?"

"Yes Rabb, if I am guilty, and my love is a sin" Layla said sobbing. "Show me, what kind of love am I feeling?"

Layla wiped her tears with a blanket.

"If Kei is my true love, why is it so hard to be together" Layla looked up at the sky.

The door opened, Raiden, Doctor Kenzi and a man of Layla's age, his face sweet, his eyebrows thick and his nose pointed.

"Good afternoon Layla" said Doctor Kenzi.

"Dok, please" Layla replied staring at the man Layla had just seen.

"How are you today, Layla?" Doctor Kenzi approached Layla, and took out all her medical devices. Then start checking Layla's condition.

"Okay Doc" Layla said. "Doctor, who is that?" ask Layla.

Doctor Kenzi glanced for a moment at the man standing beside Raiden, then he smiled as he injected the medicine in Layla's arm.

"He's Rico" replied Dr. Kenzi.

Layla nodded her head, "is she going to replace the Doctor?" ask Layla.

"No Layla" said Doctor Adrian, who had just arrived. Get to Layla.

"Doctor Adrian.." said Layla.

"Rico is the son of one of your father's best friends, Layla" said Adrian. "It's because you don't want to be treated in the hospital, so Rico will help us voluntarily to keep an eye on you during the healing process.

Layla nodded her head, she looked at Rico who looked very cold.

" Have you forgotten me, Layla?" Rico's approaching Layla.

Layla frowned looking at Rico, trying to remember him. But still Layla doesn't remember, "i forgot."

"I was the one who asked you to meet on your birthday to Tyjuhteen, remember?" said Rico. "At that time Aunt Anita introduced us, but you were dumb."

Layla tries to remember in the past, she just realized it was Rico who first said Layla was crazy. Layla smiled, "yes, I just remembered."

"Well Layla, the examination is over, you start tomorrow you'll be examined by Doctor Rico."

Doctor Kenzi and Doctor Adrian explain and ask Layla's permission to accept Rico to stay at Layla's house during treatment, "how is Layla?" ask Dr. Adrian.

"Of course it can be Doc" replied Layla.

Layla nodded her head, "thank you Doc."

Doctors Adrian, Kenzi, Rico and Raiden leave Layla to rest and are guarded by Mbok Darmi.

"Well, is that as bad as Layla's brain cancer?" ask Raiden in between his steps.

"Right, for the recovery is very small.But we will still try our best for Layla," replied Dr. Adrian.

Raiden nodded his head, "Thank you Doc" Raiden said. "As far as I can, will take good care of Layla."

Doctor Kenzi patted Raiden on the shoulder, then they both asked Rico to give the slightest news about Layla's condition.

"Good Doc."

Then the two doctors said goodbye to return to the hospital.

"Are you Layla's friend?" ask Rico.

Raiden nodded his head, "yes, why?"

"Nothing," Rico replied glancing momentarily at Raiden.

"The strange man" Raiden said in his heart.

"From now on, you must follow everything I suggest. So you'll heal fast." Rico placed the medicine and mineral water on the table.

"Mbok, all things related to medicine and food Layla let me take care of it" said Rico. "One more Mbok, don't let anyone who has no interest in Layla talk to Layla."

Mbok Darmi nodded his head, "good sir."

"You can go, Mbok."

Mbok Darmi bowed for a moment, then he turned back leaving Rico and Layla on the porch of the house.

"Aren't you here to help Dr. Kenzi?" ask Layla. "Then why are you interfering in other business?" Layla frowned, she did not understand with Rico's good attitude at the beginning.

"You don't need to talk much, it's all for your recovery." Rico gave Layla some medicine.

Layla receives the drug from Rico's hands, "but you have no right to rule Rico's life."

"If I don't rule your life, and your recovery, then who?" ask Rico.

Layla knitted her two eyebrows at Rico, "what do you mean?"

"There's no need to ask too many questions, take the medicine quickly."

Layla then swallowed all the drugs Rico gave her. After a few minutes Layla took the medicine, then Rico invited Layla to take a short walk to the park, so that Layla get ultraviolet light in the morning.

"Now that you rest, later in the afternoon I will help you to walk again." Rico pushes Layla's wheelchair into the house.

"Can I walk again?" layla asked, looking at Rico.

Rico smiled at Layla, "of course," Rico said.

Arriving at Layka's private room, Rico lifts Layla's body and holds her, then she lays on the bed.

"Enough rest, later in the afternoon we learn to walk," said Rico.

Layla nodded her head, noticing Rico covering Layla with a blanket, "thank you."

"No need to thank me, I haven't done anything" Rico replied. "Now you rest."

Then Rico turned around, leaving Layla in her room alone.

"The guy is weird, sometimes nice, sometimes rude," Layla murmured at Rico's back out of Layla's room.
