Kei And Layla

Kei And Layla
Chapter 33: Friends

Kei arrived in front of his house in wet clothes. He went into the house to his room to change his clothes.

Shortly afterwards Kei had finished changing clothes and looked neat. Now Kei feels relieved and has no such burden before he meets Layla. Kei smilingly looked at his face in the mirror.

"Layla" he said slowly.

Suddenly Kei heard the sound of the door opening from outside the room. Kei turned towards the door as Dinda entered and walked over to Kei. Kei frowned watching Dinda who was wearing sexy clothes with her cleavage open.

"Where are you Kei?" dinda looked at Kei who looked happy.

"It's none of your business" Kei replied coldly, then he walked towards the door of the room.

Dinda grunted angrily looking at Kei who was still acting indifferent. "Let's! i'm your wife! I deserve to know where you're going!"

Kei stopped his steps looking at Dinda. "Then?"

"Yes, I want to know where you've been all day?" tanya Dinda walked over to Kei and struggled spoiled on Kei's shoulder.

"I'm tired!" Kei releases Dinda's hand on her shoulder and steps her leg out of the room and ignores Dinda.

"Let's!!" exclaimed Dinda in an annoyed tone.

"Aaaahhhkkk!! Dinda blurted hysterically while slamming the bedroom door, then threw her body on the bed. She cried so much that it blew away all her frustration. He felt all his efforts were in vain.

***

A bright morning, as bright as Layla's heart. This morning he decides to meet Valeri, Stela, and Asha at Layla's late father's school. Since Layla's parents died, the school has been entrusted to one of Surya's relatives. And Layla's three best friends became teachers there. Layla goes to school with Raiden, who is always ready to take Layla anywhere.

Raiden stared at Layla who was wearing a black t-shirt and jeans. Raiden always admired Layla, whatever Layla wore and said she always liked him. To get Layla bak pungguk to miss the moon. But for Raiden it's okay. As long as the love he has is sincere towards Layla, for Raiden he does not need to express and Raiden does not need recognition from Layla. Raiden walked over to Layla who was standing at the door of the house.

"Hows it? are you ready, princess?"

Layla stared at Raiden's horror whenever Raiden said that. But that doesn't mean Layla doesn't like it. Everyone has different ways of expressing their love and affection. Layla's hand was ready to be stretched out to pinch Raiden's waist But Raiden had already moved away from Layla's pinch.

"Come, just kidding when is it?"

Layla walks ahead of Raiden, Raiden walks behind Layla and they get into the car to Layla's father's school.

About fifteen minutes later, Layla and Raiden arrive at the school grounds. Layla and Raiden got out of the car and stood staring at the school which still looked lonely outside because it was still hours of middle school lessons.

Layla stared around the school. Memories of the past at the beginning of his initial introduction to Kei can still be felt in every corner of the school. Layla took a deep breath and her eyes closed. I can still feel all the memories of this school.

While Raiden who continued to pay attention to Layla just fell silent. He knew what Layla was feeling. And Raiden doesn't want to bother Layla who's reminiscing about Kei at this school. When Layla was closed, Raiden quietly stepped his feet and sat in the garden chair beside the school.

As soon as Layla opened her eyes, she turned her head to the side she was surprised to not find Raiden. Layla spread her gaze across the corner of the school grounds. But Raiden's nowhere. Then Layla decides to look for Raiden. Until he found Raiden's figure sitting in the school park chair. Layla walked over to Raiden.

"What are you doing here? I've been looking for you!" ask Layla.

Raiden just kept quiet not answering Layla's question. Layla is confused by Raiden's attitude. Then Layla sat down beside Raiden and looked at him.

"Hey, what's wrong with you?"

Raiden glanced for a moment then turned his eyes back to the flower that was blooming various colors.

"I don't think you need me?" said Raiden flat.

Layla frowned not understanding Raiden's words.

"You mean?" ask Layla to look at Raiden.

Raiden sighed deeply, wanting to let go of all his frustration as Layla was more engrossed in her memories than she had in feeling her presence beside Layla. But Raiden hesitated to say it because it was useless. Raiden chose silence rather than talk, which only damaged the relationship he was in with Layla.

Layla was able to catch Raiden's anxiety through her eyes. Layla smiled and grabbed Raiden's hand and held it tightly.

"What about going to the cafeteria? we wait for my friend there?"

Raiden returned Layla's hand and smiled. "okay."

Layla and Raiden decide to go to the cafeteria and wait for their three friends. Soon they arrived at the school cafeteria. Layla sat in the chair next to Raiden. Layla ordered food and drinks.

Shortly after Layla ordered food and drinks. The sound of the school bell rang a sign of the students and the students were taking a break.

"It's Rai's meatball, it's delicious." Layla thrusts a bowl of meatballs and a glass of fresh drink in front of Raiden.

"Thank you."

"Laylaa, how are you?!"

Layla looked back at the voice, and saw Asha, Valeri and Stela in Teacher's uniform. Standing in front of Layla and Raiden. Layla immediately got up and approached the two of them. They looked at each other and hugged each other.

"I miss you guys" Layla said with a stifled voice in her throat.

"We are also Layla" they replied in unison.

After being satisfied they gave up longing, Layla introduced Raiden to them one by one. Then they sat down and ordered food and drinks. They sat together talking and joking.

"You look skinny Layla" Stela looked at Layla.

"Lack of eating times" Asha chuckled.

"Or don't be afraid of losing this handsome one, so he is skinny" Valeri said.

Raiden looked at the three women before him as he felt that they were talking about them.

Layla, Asha, Stela and Valeri stared at each other for a moment and laughed at Raiden.

Meet old friends, friends who are always there when Layla has ups and downs in a relationship with Kei. Let Layla talk to her three friends. But time required them to separate. Asha, Stela and Valeri must return to teach.

"When, you play at home." Layla held the hands of her three friends.

"Yes Layla, I'll play at your house for a teaching holiday" Valeri replied smilingly looking at Layla.

"You take good care of Layla" interrupted Asha staring at Layla with glassy eyes.

"Don't be sad keep going, Layla remembers. There are still many around you who love you" said Stela.

Layla smiled as she bit her lower lip, nodding her head. Somehow meeting with his three best friends seemed to open up memories and old wounds that Layla had struggled to hide and bury it deep in the deepest recesses of her heart. They have the same feeling. Meeting Layla reminds them of the events of how they fought hard to bring Layla and Kei together. Ah memories are like poisons that hurt anytime, but those memories are like lovers who are never far from the mind.

"I love you guys" Layla said in a quivering tone. The next moment they hugged each other.

Raiden who had just been silent and watched bowed. He understands and does not want to disturb them. Raiden chose silence and gave Layla as much space and time to let go of longing.

"Hey, dumbass again" Layla said patting Raiden on the shoulder, leaving Raiden shocked.

"Ah no" replied Raiden chuckling.

"Let's go home." Layla holds Raiden's arm

"Bye! see you soon Layla!" said the three friends in unison while waving their hands.

"bye, thanks for the time." Layla smilingly looked at her three friends and then turned back and stepped her feet towards the school yard. Layla and Raiden get into the car to get back home.
