Chapter 59: The 35th Anniversary

Arriving at home, Layla was very surprised to get a surprise from her best friend. He did not think that they had all prepared all those little parties for him

"Surprise!!" exclaim them all when Layla has arrived at the house.

Raiden was no less surprised because he saw Kei coming with Layla, but he tried to refrain from making a fuss for Layla's sake.

"Happy birthday Layla" said Raiden, then kissed Layla on the forehead. Then he gave Layla a gift of a pendant necklace, and she put it on Layla's neck.

Layla touched the necklace and said, "thank you."

Raiden nodded his head smiling at Layla. Then he stood beside Layla, giving her another chance to congratulate her.

"Happy birthday dear" Valeri said, Stela hugging Layla tightly.

Following Sila, Mbok Darmi and Mang Usman. They wish Layla a happy birthday and a series of healing and longevity prayers are given.

"Thank you all." Layla's eyes are glassy.

Then Mang Usman led a series of prayers and praise to the Owner of Life for Layla's healing. Everyone in the room turned their hands together and closed their eyes.

Kei, you are my first and last love, my promise to you I will keep. That I will be faithful and love you until death.' Layla said in her heart.

After Mang Usman finished, they simultaneously uttered the word, "amiin"

Later, Raiden brings Layla's birthday cake with a candle that has been lit above the number 35.

"Blow candles! blow candles!" everyone exclaimed, smiling at Layla.

But Layla had not had time to blow the candle, from an unexpected direction, Alya and Clara came to Layla's house. Alya immediately approached Layla and Raiden, with her right hand she brushed off the cake in Raiden's hand and threw it aside. Until the cake fell into a mess.

Everyone was shocked by the arrival of Clara and Alya who arrived.

"Mother!" yelling Kei widened his eyes looking at Kei.

"Enough Mom!" yelling Kei pulled Alya's hand.

"What I said was Kei's right, you're more concerned with other women than Keila."

"Shut your mouth Clara!" Kei snorted angrily, not expecting Clara and her mother to come to Layla's house.

"God! crazy lady! why don't you just die, instead of disturbing people's husbands!" alya shouted at Layla. Layla just shook her head, she did not answer all of Alya's insults.

"Quite Aunt!" Raiden pulls Alya's hand away from Layla.

"You're the same, stupid man! alya. " You want to defend a crazy woman!"

"Mommy's enough!!" peeking Kei, he moved his legs closer to Alya and pulled his hand, until there was a mutual pull and push between Kei, Clara and Alya.

While the others were silent, they already knew how Alya behaved long ago.

"Kei, you just go home" Layla said slowly until not heard by others. Layla felt her head ache and shortness of breath. But he tried not to care.

"He's a crazy woman! we all know that from the beginning! exclaim Alya. " She's an old virgin who can only disturb others, why don't you just die instead of taking someone else's life. You Crazy!! hardik Alya while spitting in front of Layla.

"Mom let's go home!!" Kei forces his mother to go home but Alya continues to resist until she slaps Kei in the cheek.

Everyone looked up at the direction of the voice. They see Layla's wheelchair toppled and Layla unconscious.

"Lalaylaa!!" raiden and Kei together. They ran towards Layla.

Raiden lifted his wheelchair, while Kei lifted Layla's body and carried her.

"Layla's body down, she's not who you are, let's go home!" Alya advanced before Kei and pulled Layla's body.

"Stop! are you out of your mind?! Raiden takes over Layla's body and holds her.

" Come home!" Alya pulled Kei's arm forcefully.

"No!" reject Kei.

"Come on Kei, we're home." Clara pulled Kei's right arm.

"Let's go home, please." Asha who had been silent earlier finally spoke up.

"No, I want to accompany Layla" Kei said.

"Back home!" alya pulled Kei's hand.

"No Mother!" Kei brushed Alya's hand.

"I beg you, Layla can only last one more month" said Kei Lirih, folding both hands begging his mother.

Everyone who heard Kei's words, was shocked and in disbelief.

"No way, Kei you're lying!!" exciting Raiden. His eyes widened to look at Kei.

"I'm not lying, you ask Asha."

Raiden and everyone turned to look at Asha who nodded her head, confirming Kei's words.

"Layla.." said Raiden slowly.

"It's good that this crazy woman dies quickly!" Alya laughed a little.

"Mother! watch Mom's mouth!" exclaim Kei.

"Hhh, let's go home!" Alya and Clara again pull Kei's hand.

"Kei, come home Kei." said Asha in tears.

Kei looked at Asha and nodded his head, then he stepped foot following Alya and Clara. He moved his feet with a broken heart.

"Raiden, Layla's breathing's not there. Let's get her to the hospital quickly!! exclaiming Valeri, he pulled Raiden's arm and took him out of the house followed by the others. Eventually they all took Layla to the hospital.

Arriving at Layla hospital, he was taken to the ER for treatment. After an hour had passed, Doctor Kenzi walked out of the room.

" How's Doc?" asked Raiden anxiously.

"Layla has to have surgery" replied the doctor.

"What?!" Raiden covered his mouth with his hands. "But Doctor, what condition does Layla have to undergo surgery again?" ask Raiden.

"If not in surgery, the cancer will spread more widely." Doctor Kenzi closed the door.

"You'd better come with me, and sign all the necessary files. Before it's too late."

Raiden was silent for a moment, then he nodded his head and followed Doctor Kenzi's footsteps.

" Layla, you have to be strong, you can definitely get through this" Raiden murmured softly.

"Yes Rabb, give your best to Neng Layla, heal him." Mbok Darmi sobbed.

Valeri, Asha, and Stela embrace each other, they continue to pray to the Almighty for Layla's healing.
