Kei And Layla

Chapter 50: Life and death.

Layla sat pensively on her porch, enjoying a cheerful morning. It just so happens that today is Sunday. So Layla has no schedule of going to school. Although Layla is in pain, but Layla does not want to be crushed by the circumstances.

Layla turned her head towards the voice, seeing Valeri, Stela and Asha coming out the car door. Layla smiled looking at the three of them.

"Hey, are you here?" greet Raiden from the direction of the door staring towards Layla and the others.

Layla and the others stared at the voice, "iya dong, we miss Layla" Asha stood up and stepped into the house.

Raiden walked up to Layla and sat down next to Layla's wheelchair, "thank you guys for coming."

"We're best friends, we're family, we're not all going to leave each other" Valeri said. "Live friends!!" yelled Valeri while raising her hand upwards. Followed by Stela raised her hand upwards.

"Bahaha!" they laugh together.

Layla shook her head, chuckling, "you haven't changed, just like you used to."

"I brought you some food!" asha exclaimed from the door, with a tray in her hand containing fresh drinks and snacks on the tray. Then he put it on the table.

"This is for you Layla" said Asha, putting a glass of warm milk on the table.

"Thank you."

"You always understand my favorite." Stela takes Cery flavored fresh drink cups.

"Sure dong" replied Asha.

They all enjoy fresh drinks and snacks while talking about school. Layla enthusiastically tells her students in the art of painting can be an award from the Government.

time continued to pass, laughter joked beautifully on the porch of the house. Raiden and Layla's three best friends stare at the happy looking Layla. But the next second Layla felt a tremendous headache.

"Layla, what's wrong with you? tanya Raiden hugged Layla's shoulder.

" Layla, you're why Layla" said Valeri and her two best friends.

Raiden and his three best friends carry Layla's body into the car. Raiden and his three best friends take Layla to the hospital, where Dr. Kenzi works.

Shortly after, they arrived at the hospital. Layla was immediately taken to the room to get help.

Raiden, and his three friends were standing at the door waiting for the results of the examination with a feeling of anxiety. Valeri and her two best friends occasionally embrace each other while offering a prayer strand to Layla.

Shortly after, Dr. Kenzi came out of the room. Raiden and his three best friends approach Dr. Kenzi.

"How's Doc?" ask Raiden.

"Layla must be operated immediately" replied the doctor.

"Operation Doc?" Raiden glares at Doctor Kenzi for a moment, then turns to look at Layla's three best friends.

"Is there no other way Doc?" ask Asha.

"Layla's brain cancer is already very severe, because it's too late in handling." Dr. Kenzi explained.

Raiden sat on the chair, he cupped his face, "Yes Rabb, heal Layal." Raiden's eyes are glassy.

"Then, excuse me. And the operation will be carried out tomorrow if Mr. Raiden has signed all his letters." Doctor Kenzi lowered his head for a moment, then he stepped into his room, which was followed by three nurses from behind.

"Raiden, how's this?" asked Asha sitting next to Raiden.

"I don't know Sha."

"You'd better follow what the doctor says, this is all for Layla's recovery" Valeri said.

"It's better" Stela said.

"Yes Rabb, help me to make a decision."

"We wish Laya all the best, Layla will be well" Valeri added.

"Amen!" answer them simultaneously.

"How's Rai?" ask Stela. He stood up when he saw that Raiden had finished signing the file.

"Now, it all depends on the Doctor" Raiden said softly.

"Then?" ask Stela again.

"The doctor will perform surgery on his brain, and the doctor won't do it without my permission."

Later, Raiden and Stela set foot into Layla's nursery.

Wednesday is 10:25 when the universe stops spinning. Today Layla is undergoing her first surgery. According to Dr. Kenzi, today's operation is not the last, but there will be a series of subsequent operations.

"How long has it been?" asha asked sounded trembling.

"Two hours." Raiden answered Asha's question in an unstable voice.

"I'm afraid something's happened to Layla." Raiden stared at the operating room door.

"Tray..Layla's a strong boy." Asha touched Raiden's shoulder.

"I know but the doctor said..."

"On life and death, doctors don't know what." Asha was silent for a moment as if she also wanted to confirm her own words.

Raiden walked up to Layla lying in a tidurnha place, his breathing was also heard regularly the voice coming from the Ekectrocardiogram which gave a calm to Raiden, that Layla was still alive and would not leave him.

"Layla dear.." said Raiden very slowly. Then he sat down on the iron chair that was nearby. Raiden grabs Layla's hand and does not explain.

"Layla dear, you are strong" Raiden murmured at Layla's still unconscious face. For the first time Raiden's position is in a situation to make a life-and-death decision.

"Layla, you have to be passionate, you have to be able to fight your brain cancer" Raiden murmured.

After Raiden finished visiting Layla, it was Asha, Stela and Valeri's turn to take turns. Their prayers go out to the Living Owner for Layla's healing.

Raiden lowered his face sitting on the chair, outside the room where Layla was being treated. He felt very hit. Since it had been four hours, Layla had not yet come to her senses.

Raiden turned his head towards the voice, he saw Keila, Kei and Clara were already standing before him, "Keila?" said Raiden. "Om waiting for Master Layla to be treated." Raiden stared at Keila for a moment, then turned to look at Kei who was just silent.

"Mother Teacher's out of surgery, baby." Raiden stood with a straight look towards Kei and Clara who were just silent.

"Can."

Then Raiden walked into the room, followed by Kei and Keila, only Clara hesitated to enter the room.

Keila raised her hands and prayed a prayer as she arrived near Layla.

"Yes Rabb, heal Teacher Layla's mother, amiin." said Keila.

Kei stared at Layla's face, not a word coming from her lips. A shadowy flash of a dream about a woman disturbs his mind, "Layla." From his lips came to mention Layla's name. Kei closed his eyes, shaking his head as Kei felt the pain in his head recur.

"Sam? you okay?" ask Clara.

"I'm so dizzy." Kei held his head.

"We went to the doctor" Clara said. " Keila come with me." Clara looked at Raiden for a moment, then she stepped out of the room with Kei and Keila.

Raiden took a deep breath, "may you recover Kei quickly." Raiden stared at their backs until they were gone from his sight. Then he sat back in the chair.
