"Layla..in the morning, are you still sleeping?" Rico felt a soreness on his shoulder as Layla slept on his shoulder all night. Layla squirmed, she opened her eyes slowly.
"Sorry.are you sore?" layla asked back, she looked at Rico.
Rico smiled, gently rubbed Layla's hair, "it's okay, I'm just worried something's going on with you."
Layla shook her head, "no. All night I slept well, so I forgot to sleep here."
"Yes, if you want to go to sleep, but not here.." Rico helps Layla to wake up.
"No Rico.that's enough."
"Well, you'd better clean your body, then we'll have breakfast." Rico got off the chair and lifted Layla up and carried her to the bathroom.
Thirty minutes passed, they were done. Rico takes Layla to the dining table in a wheelchair.
"You have breakfast first.keep taking the medicine," Rico thrusts a bowl of vegetables in front of Layla, then he makes pregnant women's milk along with Layla's medicine.
'You're very good as Raiden' Layla said in a heartfelt note of everything Rico does.
"Why are you dumb?"
Layla smiled, she reached out to grab Rico's hand and clasped it.
"Hey..what's up?" Rico placed the glass on the table and sat down on the chair facing Layla. "What's wrong?"
"Thank you for everything you've given me and done to me" Layla lowered her head. Rico raised Layla's chin to look at her.
"No need for you to talk like that.I iklas do it without any compulsion.or pity you," Rico looked at Layla. "You know.I love you.same as you love Kei.but.I don't care all that.that I want.you can be strong against your sickness and be healed."
"Yes I know.but?"
"There's nothing but tapian.remember.there's a baby in your womb.that needs you, Layla," cut Rico.
"What if I can't afford it anymore?" Layla rubbed her stomach which was starting to enlarge.
"The rest is about death.we can't resist.I want you to keep fighting.for your baby.."
"All right.." Layla smiles. Rico smiled faintly and kissed Layla on the top of her head.
"Don't think no, just focus on your health and your baby." Layla nodded her head. "Now we have breakfast, after this we go straight to see Dr. Kenzi," said Rico.
They also enjoy their breakfast in peace, sometimes Rico gives more attention to Layla. It makes Layla feel guilty, but she can't afford to say it. In silence he cried sadly, there was a sense of regret but time could not be turned aside from accepting all the reality that was not in accordance with what was expected. Layla could not blame Kei or circumstances, other than being at peace with herself and accepting the consequences of what was already an option. There was nothing Layla wanted more than to leave all this to the Most Alive. After they finish breakfast, Rico takes Layla to meet Dr. Kenzis.

"Layla, how are you?" ask Dr. Kenzi smiled at Layla's slightly pale face.
"Well Doc, ever since he took care of me, I've been feeling better than ever" Layla replied glancing at Rico for a moment.
"Good Layla, don't burden yourself with all the events that have passed. You will soon be a mother." Dr. Kenzi stood up and asked Rico to carry Layla to the bed. After that Dr. Kenzi asked Rico to wait outside the room during the examination.
Rico nodded his head, then he moved out of the room. He sat pensively in the chair worrying about Layla's condition. Although Rico tries to encourage Layla and always encourage her but Rico can not cover up the truth. Layla is dying. It survives not for her sake but for the baby in the womb.
"Rican?!"
Someone said hello to disperse the daydream of Rico, he turned to the side to see Raiden and Sila was standing before him.
"you guys? what are you doing here?" rico asked, he stood up.
"We've just finished checking the contents" replied Sila smiling, her hand rubbing her stomach.
"Ah yes, I forgot." Rico patted his own forehead.
"Where's Layla?" ask Raiden.
"Layla's inside.she's being checked out by Dr. Kenzi."
"Layla's okay, isn't she?" ask Raiden again, can not Raiden concluded. Even though he had married Sila, but his love for Layla still kept her tight in his heart.
Rico lowered his head for a moment, "it's hard to explain Rai.." Raiden nodded his head. He understood the meaning of Rico's words. Layla is not okay.
"We must not cease to hope" said Sila. Raiden and Rico confirmed Sila's remarks.
"Simple!" the sound of the door of the room opening from inside, they immediately walked closer to the door. Saw Dr. Kenzi walked out of the room and closed the door of the room where Layla was.
"How's Layla, Doc?" asked Rico with a worried look. Dr. Kenzi took a deep breath.
"We'd better talk in my room" replied Dr. Kenzis. Rico nodded his head, then he and the others walked in Dr. Kenzi from behind. Arriving in the room Dr. Kenzi let them sit down. While he himself picked up some documents from the examination, then he sat down on the chair opening the documents one by one. Rico and the others kept quiet no one asked, for fear of disturbing Dr. Kenzi is serious.
Dr. Kenzi let out a long sigh, he closed all the documents then looked one by one at them.
"What's up Doc?" Rico asked, he can't wait to hear more information about Layla's brain cancer.
"Actually brain cancer can be cured because the handling is correct, but..?"
"But what Doc?" cut Rico.
"The medicine I gave you, there was a rejection in Layla's body."
"What does Doc mean?" Raiden was curious.
"Layla doesn't want her life anymore" replied Dr. Kenzis.
They looked at each other for a moment, Dr. Kenzi did make them stunned, but considering all the things that had happened to Layla, it was not strange that Layla did not want her life anymore.
"What should I do, Doc?" rico said, his glassy eyes staring at Dr. Kenzis.
"You have to work even harder to give him a life spirit, keep him away from things that remind him of the past" replied Dr. Kenzis.
"I'll do Doc, for Layla and the baby.whatever I'll do." Rico smiled bitterly, he was silent for a moment to convince what he said to himself. Raiden patted Rico's shoulder many times.
"You have to be strong Ric" Raiden said.
"First of all, prepare yourself for the worst" Dr. Kimpal says. Kenzis. They stared intently at Dr. Kenzi, what he said he had a point.
