Chapter 5: About

The next day Alya takes Kei to school. He was very curious about the truth about the rumors that spread. That Kei has been in a relationship with a girl named Layla. For Alya if the news is true, it would be very embarrassing for his family. Moreover, Kei has been betrothed to Dinda in order to save his company that is experiencing a crisis.

"Mom will pick you up later in the day" Alya told Kei.

Kei just kept silent and didn't answer his mother, and Kei opened the car door and looked at the school gate. Kei sees Layla walking with her three friends. Kei immediately ran up to Layla without caring for Alya who was stunned to see his son's attitude that had really changed and embarrassed him.

"Girl!"

Layla and her friend looked back. They saw Kei running and hugged Layla.

" I'm sorry I made you sad." Kei whispered in Layla's ear.

Layla immediately shook her head quickly. "No, it's not your fault." Layla smiles in Kei's arms.

Kei and Layla don't care around. All the students were watching the two of them including his three friends and Alya.

Layla and Kei are already intertwined with their hearts and souls. The spark of love in their hearts grew bigger. They are blind and deaf because of the love they have. It doesn't matter if they become a school. Layla would go crazy if Kei wasn't around and would cast the verse as a solace spell.

From a distance Alya noticed the two of them, "disgraceful" he muttered softly while throwing his face away.

"I have to stop it before it's too late." Alya then turned around and entered her car and drove towards where her husband worked.

It only takes twenty minutes. Alya has arrived at the office where Abdul works.

" What do people say is true?" abdul asked Alya.

"I saw it for myself, sir."

Abdul shook his head in disbelief at what his son had done. He felt ashamed by his own son. Abdul snorted angrily at Anita.

Abdul's face turned a dead red. "We need to act immediately, ma'am."

"You're right, sir. Don't let this matter be known to Yuda." Anita shifted her seat closer to Abdul.

"How about we ban Kei from school again?" ask Abdul.

Alya was silent for a moment, "i agree sir, but what about Kei's lesson?" Alya asked back.

"Well, no school is okay, than we're ashamed of Kei's actions?"

Alya nodded his head, justifying Abdul's words, even if it wasn't true.

"I'm up to you, sir."

Abdul begins to devise plans, excuses Abdul and Alya for good and Kei's better future. They think with money everything is easy and can be bought, including love can be obtained if a lot of money. What a wrong view, what they think.

"I agree, sir, if we let it be prosecuted and also ashamed of Mr. Yuda."

"Already Mom, now you pick him up and don't let him run away from home or school again." Abdul stood up and stepped his feet towards the table. Then he took the brown envelope from inside the desk drawer.

"You see?" Abdul looked at Alya, showing him a brown envelope. Then he walked closer to Alya.

"What is it, sir?" ask Alya.

"It's money, with money everything's good." Abdul laughed and he handed the envelope to Alya.

Alya took the envelope with a smile, "You take it easy Sir, I can take good care of Kei." Alya moved out of his chair and left Abdul's office feeling happy. Along the way to Kei's school, Alya plans to go to the salon and buy some clothes that he will use to welcome the arrival of Yuda and Dinda later.

School hours are over. All students go outside the class. In the school yard, Alya and two men as bodyguards stand waiting for Kei to leave the classroom. Alya sees Kei out of class hand in hand with Layla.

Alya snorted resentfully holding back the anger at the sight between Kei and Layla. Alya saw them getting more friendly and that embarrassed her family, Alya thought.

"This child does not know in profit" murmured Alya. With a straight look towards Kei and Layla who were walking leisurely by holding hands.

Arriving at Kei in the schoolyard, he was greatly shocked as two men came forward before him and immediately gripped onto Kei's two arms. Kei tried to rebel and he was even more surprised when he saw Alya who masterminded it all.

"Mother, what the hell is this?!" exclaiming Kei stared intently at Alya and the two burly men beside him.

"Shut up! And follow the words Mother!"

Alya snapped at Kei with a loud tone of voice and made the scene the center of attention of all the students who were still in the school area stopped her steps and watched the scene. The students whispered to each other about Kei and Layla. Including Hana, Kai and Layla.

"Mother, let Kei go!" Kei tried to escape the clutches of the two burly men. But Kei's energy couldn't keep up with the two burly men.

"Take him in the car!" Alya's orders to the two men.

The two men nodded their heads and forced Kei into the car.

"Deliver!" Kei looked back, "Layla! Layla!" Kei kept trying to revolt and called out Layla's name. Until making Alya's ears hot, he snorted angrily staring at Layla

Layla who had just sobbed, ran to help Kei escape by opening the car door.

Alya immediately pulled Layla's hand and threw it away, making Layla retreat backwards.

"It's all your bad influences, damned girl!"

"Laila! Layla!" kei exclaimed in the car while hitting the car window.

"Mother! don't hurt Layla!" Kei shouted from inside the car.

"Plakk!! Alya raised her hand on Layla's face.

But Kei's screams don't care about Alya. Alya again pulled Layla's hand and insulted her and threatened Layla and said, "you don't deserve Kei!" Alya stared intently at Layla's face that was holding back the pain on her cheeks that was hot and buzzing in her ears.

"Stay away from my son, because he's already we've paired up with a girl who deserves Kei and is also more respectable!"

"Tante, don't separate us. I beg you." Layla sobbing.

"Omong empty! you guys are still kids. You know what you're about love!" Alya gets furious with Layla for not wanting to get away from the car.

"If we're kids, then what's the difference with Auntie?" tanya Layla ventured.

"Sweety!" Alya responded coldly to Layla's remark.

Layla turned her eyes to Kei. "Let's! Kei!" Layla keeps shaking the car door hoping it opens.

"Laila! Layla!" Kei keeps hitting the windshield, "Mom, open the door!" exclaim Kei.

The two of them shouted to each other by name. Layla did not care about the surrounding that was a student spectacle.

Alya was silently stunned to see Layla and Kei calling each other. Not wanting to dissolve anymore, Alya pulled Layla's collar and pushed her backwards. Layla took a few steps back. But he again stepped up to the car and hit the car window with his hand.

"Let's!"

"Girl!"

Alya doesn't care anymore, then he gets in the car and runs his car leaving the yard. Layla kept running after the car and yelling for Kei.

"Yet! Keeiii !"

But his efforts were in vain, the car drove very quickly carrying Kei away. Layla dropped her body and sat down on the edge of the highway crying out loud as she called out Kei's name.

"Y!!"

Asha, Valeri and Stela immediately ran up to Layla and woke her up to stand up. Layla they hug and try to calm Layla down.

"You don't cry, tomorrow we find a way to meet Kei" Asha said, wiping Layla's tears.

"Let's.."

"Yes I know, but be patient Layla" Stela said.

Slowly Layla stopped her crying and wiped her tears with her palm.

"Come, I'll take you home."

"Kei.." Layla said softly.

Asha, Valeri and Stela finally drive Layla home in Valeri's car.

All the students who were paying attention were moved by what happened to Layla and Kei.

"They really love each other" said Layla's friend who had noticed. After that, all the students disbanded.

From the security guard post, Mr. Dirman shook his head looking at Kei and Layla, "ck ck ck ck"

"Girl!"

Kei kept calling Layla's name even though he had arrived inside the house. "Close your mouth! I don't understand your change of attitude this late Kei?!" Seriously, Abdul was annoyed.

"Dad can't separate us!"

"Look? Father has chosen a good and honorable future wife!". Abdul raised one level of his voice.

" What? what's best for Kei? know what you know about Kei?!" Kei kept trying to rebel from the two men. Alya just silently watched.

"You know what love is, huh?!"

"Father and Mother have the heart to sell me to Mr. Yuda!" Shouted Kei.

"Plakk!"

Abdul slapped Kei on the cheek, and said. " Keep your manners and courtesy towards your father Kei!"

"Bad fuck!"

"Take him to his room and lock him up! no one dared to take it out!" Abdul orders two of his men to bring Kei into the room. Then the two men dragged Kei into the room, followed by Alya.

"Bad fuck! Bad dad!"

Then Alya locked the door after the two men managed to bring Kei into the room.

Alya and Abdul did not care about Kei's screams from inside the room. They sat in chairs listening to all the curses of Kei from inside the room, occasionally calling out Layla's name.

"It's your fault for not being able to educate Kei!" Abdul blames Alya for all Kei's shameful attitude.

"Kok me to blame? You are the same!"

Alya and Abdul get into a big fight. The two blame each other for Kei's late attitude. They consider the love Kei has is a stain and must be anticipated immediately. If left alone would embarrass his big family name.

"They consider my love for Layla to be a sin, whereas my love for Layla is sacred and indivisible, "kei said. "Layla is a part of my soul, so I am a part of her soul. Layla must be very sad and miss me." muttered Kei Lirih. Kei kept thinking about Layla, and she did not feel hungry, all the food she gave her mother did not touch in the slightest.

"Why don't they understand, why do they become so selfish just because I love Layla" he muttered softly as he wrote Layla's name on a paper. From outside the window came the sound of an owl, and the gurgling sound of leaves blowing in the wind. Kei considered that it was Layla's longing voice towards him.

"Layla, patience. I'll see you." Kei smiled and closed his eyes listening to the sound of owls and the gurgling sound of leaf leaves. A gentle breeze touching the leaves adds to the beautiful atmosphere in Kei's ears, as Kei thinks it is Layla's voice accompanying him.

In the morning Alya and Abdul enter Kei's room. They brought breakfast for Kei. Alya looked at the food that Kei hadn't touched at all yesterday.

"This kid doesn't eat at all." Alya looked at Kei who was still asleep under the blanket.

"Wake him up and tell him to eat!" timpal Abdul's.

Then Alya wakes Kei up, but Kei is lazy to wake up. Alya tried a little hard to force Kei to wake up. Kei finally relented and he got up from the bed.

"Wake up and clean your body, we're waiting here." Alya looked at Kei, her eyes puffy from all night crying over Layla.

Kei just kept silent not answering Alya's words. He got out of bed and went straight to the bathroom.

Before long Kei had finished and looked neat. Alya asked Kei for breakfast. Kei refused to eat. Because of his annoyance, Abdul forced Kei to chew the bread forced into Kei's mouth. But Kei chose to spit it out and what Kei did made Abdul even more furious.

"If your attitude doesn't change, I'll make sure you never see Layla again!"

Hearing Layla's name called Kei also looked up at Abdul. "Lail."

"Let's eat!"

Kei also took the bread on the plate and chewed it slowly while in between his meals, Kei did not stop mentioning Layla's name. As if she was going to be dealing with Layla.

Alya took a deep breath. There is a sense of pity to see his son, but they do not know how else to cope with their economy. But ever since the juda gave me the money, Abdul's business has crept up again.

"Life needs not only love, but also treasure. People will look one eye if we go broke." Alya again confirmed to Kei.

"Key doesn't care about any of that." Kei's reply made abdul and Alya furious. Do not want to continue the quarrel between parents and children. Abdul and Alya decide to leave Kei in the room. Then they rush out to find a good date for Kei and Dinda's engagement. They do not want to wait long and consider Kei's love for Layla to be unimportant.
