After almost a night he could not sleep, this morning he woke up to hear the sound of water gurgling from outside.
Melani was surprised when she saw the sunlight through the glass window and the thin curtain fabric.
He immediately went down and opened the curtains. Apparently Jendra was carrying a long hose and watering plants next to the house.
Melani snatched the towel. He also took a change of clothes. Maybe the man woke up earlier than he did.
"Melani .. don't think of this house as a hotel. Did you forget that you were hitching a ride in someone else's house!" his murmurs cursed themselves.
"May wake up!"
"It's all because of that gil* lion!"
Melani immediately took a shower because after that she had to wash her dirty clothes. He didn't want to come back with a bag of dirty clothes.
"Geez!" Melani almost slipped when she saw Jendra already in front of her eyes as she opened the bathroom door from the inside. He was going to come out after he finished his bath.
The man whose clothes looked wet with a forehead that was also wet, either because of the sweat or water, stared at Melani flat. There is no smile.
Jendra just passed Melani's body. He went into the bathroom without much talking.
Likewise with Melani who prefers to walk to the laundry room which is the very back of this house.
Melani does not use a washing machine. He washed his hands all his clothes.
Melani was again surprised when she saw Jendra's clothes had been dried. Even the man's clothes were already fluttering in the wind like the pennants of a race.
"What time did he wake up? I didn't even hear him washing," he grumbled as he rubbed the clothes he had not so long ago soaked.
"It felt ashamed when I lost diligently to a gil* lion," he murmured softly.
"Sir, why not just use the washing machine?"
Melani is shocked when a middle-aged woman suddenly appears behind her with a floor mop and a bucket.
"Heeemm ...." Melani smiled broadly. "It's okay, ma'am."
"I used to wash by hand."
"Well, exactly like Ms. Jenar. I also rarely wash using a machine." The woman stared in amazement at Melani.
So, what is this expensive washing machine here for? Just for display? Inner Melani.
"It's beautiful, diligent again!" Exclaim the woman. Melani who was looking down on her clothes could only smile.
"It's perfect to be Bu Jenar's son-in-law. Mas The window is handsome, it looks beautiful."
His eyes immediately rounded. He turned around, to refute the words of the woman who worked only in the house.
But alas, the woman had already left him and walked towards the backyard.
"Why does everyone always misunderstand, anyway?" snarl.
Even people who did not know him would dare to guess like that. In fact, he was not found to be making out with Jendra.
Meanwhile, Jendra had finished his bath. She also could not sleep because last night, Melani did not respond to her request. Melani instead told him to rest, and just left.
She wants to chase after the girl and begs for a romantic scene in the movie, but all that is impossible because Melani is not her lover.
They were not lovers who were fighting and the man persuaded the woman. It's not like that. They were just coworkers, and Jendra's request was indeed excessive.
He clearly knows, Melani is not an abege labile who will be klepek-clepek when invited by a courting CEO tajir like him. Melani girls are independent, principled and certainly smart.
He who is too rash and selfish thinks of his own interests. If the mother, who is both female and they talk from heart to heart, in fact, can not melt the feelings of Melani. What else is he, the man who every day always makes the girl upset.
"I'm going to the hospital" Jendra said as he exited the room and saw Melani coming into the room.
"I'm coming" said Melani quickly.
Jendra nodded. "I'm waiting in front."
He walked out. Jendra stood on the porch of the house. He looked around the house with the one propping up on the porch guardrail.
"This house is very comfortable. It's only natural that mom and dad want to stay here."
"Did I just make a duplicate in Jakarta?"
Jendra. "But it's free. They won't either."
"Maybe only by the presence of a grandchild can melt their hearts."
Jendra turned around when he heard the sound of the door closing. Melani closed the door, because the woman who worked as a domestic assistant had already gone home.
"Is Monday a meeting, Mel?"
"It doesn't seem to exist, sir. Your schedule is empty until Tuesday."
Jendra nodded. "I don't want to go home yet, tonight."
"I'll get you a ticket. Sorry, you have to go home by yourself, Mel."
"It's not that I don't want to take responsibility for taking you, but because pregnant Kayla can't work alone."
Melani nodded in understanding. "I understand, Sir."
"I can go home by myself."
Jendra stopped at a food stall. "We'll have breakfast for a while, Mel." Yes, both of them did not have time for breakfast because Jendra was also reluctant to cook.

In the hospital.
"Ma, should we just stay with Jendra?" ask Surendra to the woman who is now in the middle of feeding the piece of fruit.
"Papa worried about the condition of my mother. At least, you don't have to be tired while living with Jendra."
The woman shook her head. "In Jakarta it's still our home, Pa. So, why is it like we're gonna hitch a ride on him?"
"Again, isn't moving to this city our deal because we want to be together, Pa?"
"Yes, but the condition of mama like this makes papa worried, ma."
"Mama will only move if she's married, Pa. So that my mom has friends. The house was huge, but it felt empty."
"If Jendra got married and had children, maybe the house would be crowded."
Surendra admitted that. Since Jendra grew up, the house began to feel cold. There was no laughter because his son began to get busy with his own activities such as college and after working in the company.
Their conversation stopped when the door of the room was opened. Jendra and Melani come together. The two do not talk to each other. Melani memorizes Jenar while Jendra sits on the sofa.
"How are you doing now, ma'am?"
"It's better, Mel." Jenar smiled. "How did you sleep? Do you live in our house?"
Melani smiled a little. It's not the condition of the house that makes me uncomfortable, but the unconditioned mouth of the gil* lion that keeps me from sleeping, ma'am. Inner Melani. He glanced at Jendra who was staring at him too.
"Did Jendra make you sleepless, Mel?" asked Jenar again who smelled there was something wrong between the two.
Melani gulped with great difficulty. You're too smart, Mom. Your words are accurate.
Jenar laughs. "He didn't bother you, did he?"
"He is so. Intentionally drink coffee to stay up late and not sleep all night."
"Sometimes he and his father watched movies until almost dawn."
Melani shook her head slowly. "No, Ma. I slept well, really," he told a lie.
"I'll be home tomorrow, Ma. If the doctor had allowed my mom to come home."
Jenar looked at Jendra. And Surendra who had just sat in front of his son also looked surprised.
"Why wait for my mom to come home?" ask Jenar. Afraid of Jendra taking her forcibly back to Jakarta.
"You can go home soon, Jend. My mom is healthy."
Jendra. "I can still wait. I don't have much work either, Ma."
Jenar knew her son was very worried about her. If usually Jendra did not dare to argue, now the man was acting like a ruler who did not want to be denied. And that's all because Jendra wants to do what's best for him.
"Then Melani?"
"He's coming home tonight!"
"Coward," Surendra quipped in a slow voice making Jendra immediately turn to his papa.
"Mama does not agree. You take her, you take her home, too, Jend!"
"Ma, don't talk too much, honey. And hold your emotions. Papa doesn't want mama to pass out again for arguing with him." Surendra immediately stared intently at Jendra.
For some reason, it seemed like today everyone was hostile towards him. From Melani to her parents.
