Chapter 17 Debate

Kayla throws the origin of her bag onto the sofa after she enters the room. He went straight to the bathroom and changed his clothes.

He washed his face and looked at his reflection in the mirror. He felt a big stone hit his chest until it felt so tight.

Had I not been tempted by what Mr. Kalandra has to offer me, perhaps I would not have been stuck in this very confusing family.

Earlier, I was too carried away just because I was afraid Kalandra was angry with me and oma who rejected me. And now I'm getting burdened with Oma's request.

Kayla vented all her irritation and the erratic feeling that made her chest tight.

Kayla's tears started to drip. "You set me up in this marriage!"

"Not to cover up the news, but also to solve the legacy issues in your family, and end up with Gia and Mama Riana who always just look for trouble with me!" Kayla snapped at Kalandra.

"And the one thing that makes me feel so stupid!" His voice began to weaken.
