Bar-Bar's Wife The Heir

Bar-Bar's Wife The Heir
Chapter 102 S2 is More Than Just a Reason

After the call was unilaterally terminated by Melani, she put her phone on the table. Then, switch on the i-pad to view the stock charts.

He also examined some of the developments of his projects. Suddenly, something bad came to his mind.

What if Melani faints? What if he slipped in the bathroom and was unconscious? He hasn't gotten out of bed yet, does that mean he hasn't had breakfast?

Jendra stared at the clock on the wall. "Hour 9? She hasn't had breakfast?"

Jendra rushed out of his study. He could not work quietly when his mind was in such a mess.

"Kayla, I'm out for a second!" Jendra walked over without waiting for a response from Kayla.

Kayla frowned. "So don't want to be bothered, and now just walk away."

Jendra drove his car to Melani's apartment. It is easy to buy something.

"What's he sick of, huh?" jendra Gumam. "Why didn't I ask you," he lamented.

"But the sick are best suited to breakfast with chicken porridge."

Jendra pulled his car over at a diner selling chicken porridge.

"Message 2, Mom. Just get wrapped up."

He would eat a lot, one serving would be less for him! Inner Jendra.

Upon arrival at Melani's apartment building, he approached security so that he could enter Melani's apartment without an access card.

The security forces tried to contact Melani to ascertain if Jendra was the guest, but it was not answered.

"I'm her future husband, sir! You've seen me go inside with him, haven't you?"

Fortunately, Jendra remembered that it was to this man who worked as security that Melani reported that she was a guest in the girl's apartment a few months ago, for the first time, Jendra entered the residence of his secretary.

"Oh, that was the night of the day, huh sir?"

Jendra nodded. The man in uniform remembered it.

"It's not like Melani usually works, sir. He doesn't seem to be inside during working hours like this."

"He's inside, sir. And he's sick."

"I'm afraid something bad happened, sir. What else if things get worse, sir."

Jendra thought for a moment, and finally he knew what to do.

"Look, he sent me a message." Jendra shows Melani's message on her phone to security.

Security looked at Jendra's appearance from top to bottom. "Are you her boss or her future husband?" After reading the message that Melani sent, security guessed Jendra was more suitable to be Melani's superior than her future husband.

"both. She's my secretary and my future wife, sir!" said the penitent playboy without the slightest nervousness. Huuh! Basic player!

Jendra was eventually escorted by security to the 7th floor, where Melani's apartment unit is located.

Jendra smiled broadly as Melani opened the door of her apartment. He goes inside immediately. "I'm so worried about you, baby!" Jendra held Melani's shoulder with her right hand.

"Thank God you're okay. Have you had breakfast?"

"I brought you chicken porridge" he said, showing him a plastic bag he held in his left hand.

Melani still looked at him with a confused expression. Jendra turned around immediately. "Thank you, sir!"

"Other times, I'll bring this apartment access card."

The security looked at Melani for quite a while as it felt that something was not right.

Realizing that Jendra looked suspicious in the eyes of security, Melani took a few steps forward.

"Thank you for driving him here, sir!"

"It just so happened that I was also sick and it was very unlikely to come down."

The man in uniform nodded. Melani's performance was quite convincing.

Long-sleeved sleeping pajamas, hair that he tied originally and without the slightest make up. Even the lip without lipstick looked a little pale.

Finally Melani can breathe a sigh of relief because the security is gone. He immediately closed the door and stared intently at the man who was standing with a plastic bag.

"Want to eat porridge?" jendra asked with a big smile without any guilt.

Melani walked by stomping her feet. His face also looked annoyed.

"Well, I'm ignored!" Jendra laughed as Melani's body had landed perfectly on the sofa.

"Eat it yourself!"

Jendra shrugged his shoulders. He walked to the kitchen and placed the plastic bag on the dining table which was not far from where Melani was sitting.

Jendra took the glass and filled it in the tap dispenser. "It's up if you don't want to. I just eat!"

Jendra sat down and opened a box of chicken porridge that he bought. He eats with gourmand. It just happened to be breakfast bread this morning.

Melani sighed when she saw her boss was even engrossed in eating without caring about it.

"Actually what did you come here for, sir?" asked Melani when she saw Jendra had dumped the Styrofoam box into the trash.

"Aren't you supposed to be in the office? Why did you leave your job?"

"And what did you tell the security services so you could get us here?"

Jendra did not respond to Melani's question. He was busy opening the contents of the refrigerator as if he did not hear what Melani said.

"Sir, I'm talking to you!" melani said to be hard and firm.

"Don't make me angry!" His head was getting dizzy as he said it in an angry tone.

Jendra looked at Melani. "I just ignored your words, and you want to get angry?"

Jendra approached Melani. "Then what about me who repeatedly invites you to get married. Not just ignoring, you're refusing outright!"

"Then, what about the feeling of my mother blatantly pleading with you, Mel?"

"Why don't you give me that chance?"

"Can't you judge yourself to be so lucky, Mel?"

"When another woman took pains to do many things to win her mother-in-law's heart, you already got it, Mel. Even if you refuse to love her son."

Jendra sat down next to Melani. They both look at each other.

Jendra's heart actually did not have the heart to say that. And the goal came because he was worried about the girl who turned out to be okay.

Melani stared into Jendra's face. The handsome face he had always seen all day for over the past three years.

Melani knows, this guy is very handsome and well established. But, are both conditions enough for a woman to accept him as a husband?

Ms. Jenar, the woman who became her idol. The woman he admired so much, had asked him to be a daughter-in-law.

He said he was polite, motherly and certainly the woman had hopes for him to be able to accompany Jendra.

"I'm sorry if my words hurt your feelings" he said.

"The beginning of my arrival, was actually purely because I really felt worried about you. I'm afraid you're fainting or your pain's getting worse."

"But, when I saw your condition, I wanted to say that."

"If only you would be with me. You're not going to be alone in Mel's house. At least there's a housekeeper who will accompany you."

Melani breathed a long breath. "I don't love you, sir!"

"That's the only reason why I don't want to marry you."

Jendra smiled knot. "Why are you so sure, Mel?"

"Love is unique, Mel. It can come anytime and anywhere. Even without realizing it."

"Love can grow by spending time together."

"It could also be because of the match when telling each other."

"I know, it's hard for you to love and accept me." Jendra stretched out one hand to cupped Melani's cheek.

Melani is quite surprised, but she wants to see how brave Jendra is to her.

"I'm not as good a man as you'd expect."

"But I will convince you

you're if I'm not kidding."

"Maybe there's no reason in me that can make you love me, Mel."

"But, you need to know, you don't need a reason to love, Mel." Jendra rubbed Melani's cheek gently.

Melani grabs Jendra's hand and releases it from her cheek.

"But it takes more than just an excuse to start a relationship, sir!" Reply Melani. And that one sentence managed to silence Jendra's mouth.
