Melani gasps when she suddenly sees both of Jendra's parents in the office. The two walked over expressionlessly.
The aura is very different. Nothing is wrong.
"Good day, Mother, Father" Melani said with a friendly smile. He is professional because he is still working hours.
Kayla was not there, Kalandra's wife was accompanying Jendra in the meeting room.
Jendra deliberately did not invite Melani because he wanted Melani to work a little more relaxed ahead of their wedding day.
Wedding preparations are almost a hundred percent complete. They only need to be present at a mosque, three days away.
Melani pounded as both of Jendra's parents stared at her sharply, from top to bottom. He could even feel the sweat dripping down his back.
Bu Jenar looked at her stomach. I don't know what to look for, Melani doesn't know. Melani only felt uncomfortable because she was wearing a pencil skirt as high as a calf with a blazer and in it she wore a shirt that she put in a skirt.
"The wind is there, Mel?"
Melani nodded. "She, Mom. Mr. Jendra is meeting with a client. Maybe it'll be over soon."
"Let me take her to her room!"
Melani heaved a sigh of relief because she managed to lead the two into Jendra's room.
"Please wait a minute, Mom! I'll make coffee for mom and dad."
Melani walked out of the room. He wondered why Jendra's parents were being unfriendly towards him. Very different than usual.
Was it because he had once rejected Jendra that the two were angry with him? But, aren't they going to get married in three days?
Don't you think Jendra hasn't told his parents?
Melani kalang mists, if it is true, it can be ascertained they are in big trouble. Going to Bali without telling them alone can be a problem, especially for something as important as this.
Where is Mas Jendra's mind? Why didn't he tell his parents about our marriage?
He rushed to make coffee and immediately took her to Jendra's room. Coinciding with Jendra's exit from the meeting room.
Melani puts the tray on her desk and immediately pulls Jendra to talk alone.
Kayla gave the code as if asking what is it? Melani did not answer. He pulls Jendra away from the entrance to the man's study.
"What's up, Mel?" ask Jendra who feels that Melani is panicking. "You sick?"
"Why bring me here?"
Melani looked at him sharply with her arms folded across her chest.
Jendra smiled thinly. "Kangen, huh? Want to get along with me?" He loved to tease his future wife.
Melani pinched her stomach. "Dreams!"
"What are you doing for trouble again, Mom? Your parents suddenly came and acted unfriendly!" whispered Melani.
"W-what? O-my parents?" tanyanya.
"Where?" Jendra looked around. He was shocked because his parents did not give any news. His parents asked him to come tomorrow. But why did it arrive this afternoon?
"In your room! Comewithme! I also have to deliver coffee for them" asked Melani to pull back Jendra's hand.
"Sure you're making trouble again, Mom! I don't want to get involved in the problems you're making with your parents."
Jendra and Melani enter the room. And it looks like both of Jendra's parents are sitting on the sofa.
"Come here!"
Not yet had time to say hello, Jendra and Melani instead asked to approach. Melani put the tray in her hand onto the table. He bowed his respect to the ruler of the Dewandaru Group.
"Papa and mama why don't you give me ka-"
"No need to tell you!" Cut the Genar in a furious tone.
"Mama asked you. Want to be a bad boy or do not want to be recognized as a child?" Genar really looked angry. His eyes were wide open with veins protruding around his neck.
Jendra. He knows where his mistake lies. His intention wanted to surprise, even he who had to be exposed to the rage of the first lady.
"Or we just scribble from KK, ma!" sahut Surendra who seems to look more relaxed than Jenar.
Melani gulped with great difficulty. He was afraid to see the anger of Jenar. He glanced at the man beside him who was also looking down.
What is this, my God? Why did he and I look like elementary school kids who were being punished by their teacher. Inner Melani.
Jendra sighed. "Ma, actually ..."
"What actually? You think your parents are just guests?" ask Jenar.
"You deliberately made mom and dad not do any preparation?"
"Or ...." Jenar looked at Melani.
"Are you pregnant?"
Melani immediately looked at Jenar. He was surprised to hear that question. He even gawked in disbelief at the question of Jenar who accused him.
Or did Mas Jendra tell you, but didn't explain why so they thought so?
"Mil ...."
Melani gasps. "N-no, Mom. I'm not pregnant."
"And you!" Jenar looked at her son who had patted her on the forehead as he accused Melani of being pregnant.
"Why not tell mom and dad that you're getting married?"
"What do you think we are, Jend?" ask Jenar. The woman held back.
"Sit, Ma. Don't emotion. Let them explain first."
"Can't, Pa. Mama has to make this papa son realize that what he's doing is wrong."
Jendra approached her mother and asked the beautiful woman to sit on the sofa. Jendra rubbed his mother's back slowly.
"Mama calm down. I have a reason why I'm doing all this."
"I deliberately didn't tell my mom because I wanted to surprise her!"
"Yes, you managed to surprise my mother!" jenar stared intently at her son.
"Mel, sit down!" Jendra's orders to Melani. Even though his mother was angry, he still had to pay attention to the girl.
"Mrs ...." Jendra held his mother's hand.
"The reason why I didn't tell mama about this marriage is because I didn't want mama to have any hassles."
"Second, mama will be exhausted from being too enthusiastic."
"Third, mom and dad would want to invite a lot of guests while we want a solemn wedding with not many guests invited."
"But, everything can be discussed carefully Jend!"
"Can, Pa. But, can you be prevented?"
"Mama will be busy preparing everything, then mama will be exhausted. What's the point if the day H mama even sick."
"But you are insolent. Asking us to come just for a missed reason!" Jenar threw away her face.
Yes, Jendra asked his parents to come not for reasons of wanting to get married. But, he reasoned from longing while he did not have time to visit his parents.
"Who are you? So busy!" jenar cynically said.
Jendra laughed. She hugged her mother from the side. "Hahaha .. I'm the most handsome of mama's children!"
"In the near future, your son will marry the girl you once chose!" Jendra pointed at Melani with her eyes on her.
Jendra shook the body of Jenar who was still in his arms. He treated his mother like a child.
"Don't be mad at him, Ma. All of this is my plan. I want to ask for blessing by kneeling in front of mom and dad."
"Yes, even if I knew, you would have given your blessing."
"But, it turned out that my mother had already known our wedding plans. Though no one knows except the two of us and ...."
Jendra's eyes were perfectly rounded. "Murray!" He mentioned one name that he suspected to be the culprit.
"He told mom?" Jendra took off her embrace and looked at her mother.
Jenar nodded. "Don't blame him because this is all your fault!"
"He called my mom last night. He asked mom to buy him the food his wife wanted that was cravings."
"Maybe he thinks mom already knows. Or maybe he's the one who's been talking too."
Jendra sighed. He held his mother's hand.
"Because it's been like this. All right, Ma. I asked my mother's prayer so that our good intentions could run smoothly."
"So is papa. Pray always, that our household may last until death do us part."
"Papa was actually happy, hearing the news that you were getting married!"
"But, my mom and dad felt unappreciated as parents."
"And we should have realized. If we had a little kid gil*!"
Melani closes her mouth when Surendra admits that her son is a little gil*.
"So something like this could happen."
Jenar nodded. "You owe me a story, why you finally decided to get married."
Melani nodded.
"It's not because you're pregnant, is it Jend?" ask Jenar again.
Jendra laughs. "Yet ma. One hundred percent ori and still sealed!" jendra whispers. Melani until she blushed embarrassed.
