Bar-Bar's Wife The Heir

Bar-Bar's Wife The Heir
Chapter 49 Romantic Night

"I'm your husband, Kay. Whether or not there is a deal."

Kayla's heart beat uncontrollably again when a rich short word that requisite meaning echoed gently in her ears. Kalandra's warm decapitation didn't want her to let go.

Is this what it's like to have someone who loves us? Why is it as warm as dad's? Is he the one who grabs me or do I love him?

Lord, if indeed Your will unites us through the marriage contract, then help us to finish it well without hurting each other.

"Don't be sad, Kay!" whispered Kalandra again. "I feel so guilty every time I see you moody. Although not because of my fault. But I don't like to see your eyes glazed over" Kalandra said.

Kayla nodded slowly. "Sometimes I just miss my dad."

Kalandra took off her embrace. "I don't know how much he means to you. I don't know how much you love her. I don't know how much it's gonna cost."

Kalandra held Kayla's hand. "If she used to be where you lean, then right now I'm ready to replace her with my shoulder."

"I don't mind if you depend on me. Smile even if it has to trouble me."

"Because it's better than seeing you cry."

"My heart is just beginning to heal from the pain my mother created."

"And right now, I don't want to get used to being sick anymore by seeing you grieve."

Kayla shed her tears. Does this mean he has the same feelings as me. Does this mean my feelings are reciprocated?

Kalandra wiped away the tears on Kayla's cheek. "Never cry again, Kay!"

"I hate to see a woman cry" Kalandra said. One of the cries he hated was the cry of his mother when begging to return with her father first. The second was the cry of oma when her papa died.

Maybe everyone in this house already knows that Kalandra hates to see a woman cry. Until Riana cried more in silence and solitude. Even when her husband died.

Kayla nodded. "Let's know, the rigors of life always make me miss him. My only life support, my only patron, my comfort, and my encouragement."

"I'm sincere, but every little thing always reminds me of him."

"And now that I'm starting to understand, it turns out that pretending to be okay is excruciating."

For years his father endured pain, but kept trying to stay strong in front of him. Although it was different pain, but right now, that was how he felt. It hurts to see Kalandra with other women. But he tried to cover it up.

"Mas! What's that noise?" kayla asked while Kalandra was still in the bathroom.

This morning, he heard a man shouting in front of the fence of their house.

"Where is your employer?" the voice sounded loud into his room.

Kayla looked up at the balcony of the room and saw a man who looked like a westerner coming with some bodyguards.

The security guard got bounced, trying to block them. The housekeepers started screaming as the private driver in the house was also blocking them from entering.

"Where is a man named Kalandra?"

"Would you guys come here?"

"Don't riot or we'll call the police."

"Yes!" Kayla again ran in and she hit the body of Kalandra who had come out of the bathroom.

"Slow down, Kay!" Kalandra managed to capture the body of the girl.

"Mas! In front there are people looking for you and they've beaten our security guards and drivers."

Kalandra started to panic. "I'll see first!" Kalandra immediately went downstairs and Kayla followed suit.

"Mas I'm coming!"

"Don't run, Kay!" Shouted Kalandra but he himself instead ran to get to the bottom floor immediately.

The man who was looking for her had already arrived at the door of the house. Kalandra asked the housekeeper to go inside and take care of the security guard and their driver in pain.

"Who are you that suddenly came making a fuss in my house!" said Kalandra stared intently at the man who was the boss of the five-man plot.

"You're Kalandra?" ask one of the bodyguards.

Kayla and Riana were already standing behind Kalandra by flanking the oma between them.

Oma did not show the slightest fear. It was Riana who looked paled. He was afraid this commotion had something to do with the legal issues that befell Leo.

Kayla actually wanted to be next to Kalandra, but she had to think about Oma and her in-laws. If anyone attacked them at least he could keep watch.

"Yes, my name is Kalandra! Who're you?" ask Kalandra firmly. The man who only wears short jeans and collared shirts is not afraid to see the big men in front of him.

"Stop him!" the western man commands it in Indonesian but with a westernized accent.

"Bug!"

"Bug!"

"Bug!"

Kalandra managed to fend off blow after punch. But when he saw Kalandra was able to survive and even retaliate against the blows of two people at once, the man ordered the other two to come forward.

Kayla couldn't possibly let Kalandra face them alone. "Dear, Mama..." Kayla looked at the two. "You better go and hide in the room and lock from the inside"

"But-but,"

"Ma, please! There's no more time!" Riana immediately brought the oma into the room.

"Bug!" Kayla successfully kicked the man who was about to attack Kalandra from behind.

"Kaila! Don't interfere!" Pinta Kalandra even though he himself was fending off the opponent's attack.

"Don't mind me." Kayla had mounted horses to attack her enemy.

The fights keep going. Kayla and Kalandra lure them out. Because the fight had already made the vases and flower pots on the porch of the house broke apart.

"Aah!" Kayla complained when one of the bodyguards hit her stomach. Kayla fell to the ground.

"Kay, are you okay?" asked Kalandra who was trying to help Kayla wake up.

The four bodyguards were already starting to weaken. And help at least they thought came from the side of the house.

Bi Marni and Mr. Darmo and other workers came with their weapons.

Bi Marni brought stainless pans and silks. Mr. Darmo was carrying a golf club and the gardener was carrying a hoe, as well as several others carrying brooms and floor brooms.

They attacked the already weak bodyguards. The burly men curled up when a pot hit his head.

Kalandra saw the westernized-faced man begin to panic and prepare to run away.

Kayla and Kalandra compactly surrounded the man. Kayla prevents by stretching out her arms while Kalandra manages to pull her collar.

"Where are you going, Masbul!" Say hello to Kayla with a dirty smile.

"You know him Kay?" ask Kalandra.

"No."

"But you call him Masbul?"

"Haha. It's just an abbreviation, Mas Bule!" Kayla laughs.

"Don't expect to get out safely!" Kayla folded her hands on her chest.

An incredible partnership and initiative. The security guard had pulled the iron chair and brought a rope to tie the man up.

Kalandra sat the man down and began to interrogate him. Bodyguard, don't think about it. Their fate was over in the hands of that impromptu army. Some fainted, some were weak begging for mercy and some pretended to faint so as not to be hit again.

"Who are you?" asked Kalandra who was currently sitting opposite the Caucasian man.

"I'm Clara's husband."

Kalandra and Kayla looked at each other in shock. Both have the same thought. Why did this man attack Kalandra?

"What was the purpose of you coming here by making a scene?"

"Because Clara left with a lot of my money and gave it to you!" accuse the man.

Kalandra raised her eyebrows and gave a smile. He did not receive any money from Clara. And anyway, he doesn't need that money. The money he had just did not know what to spend.

"He's the one who ran your money, then why am I the one you attacked?"

"And one more thing! I've never received money from your wife!" Kalandra.

"I found evidence of a considerable transfer to Rajaswa's company" the man replied.

Kayla pulled one corner of her lips laughing at the man who seemed to have been tricked by this Clara.

"It was for the payment of the home design that Clara bought from the company," Kalandra explained.

"So, not for me."

"Home design?" ask the man.

"Yes, Clara is building a mansion" Kalandra replied.

"Can I guess. You don't know about that?" kayla asked the man and the man shook his head.

"And you also don't know Clara's whereabouts right now." The man returned to shake.

"You should look for it first. Not from this attack! I could have reported you to the police for assaulting my home" Kalandra said.

Finally after pleading, Kalandra let them go. She also does not want her company dragged down because of the case of Clara who embezzled her own money to work with her.

He lets the man find Clara and get their business done. Kalandra deliberately told me where the address of the woman's apartment was.

"Thankfully, my mother thought it had something to do with Leo" Riana said as the situation was safe.

Kayla cleaned the wound on the corner of Kalandra's lips because the man had been hit several times.

"Mom take it easy, if it happens, I'll-be-fuck!" she complained as Kayla continued to clean the remaining blood at the corner of her lips.

"I'll hire a bodyguard for you!"

"Ouch! Slow down, Kay!" her door.

Instead of being concerned, they laughed at Kalandra.
