Weekends become the most appropriate time for a single person like Melani to time me without anything disturbing.
He has made a list of films that he will watch for two days. Starting from the genre of romance, comedy to horror.
But, before sitting in front of a laptop with a myriad of snacks, he had to clean his apartment first. Mopping once a week is enough to keep the tenement on the 7th floor clean.
"Floor, done. Laundry, done. Breakfast, already."
"It's time to take a shower and haha-hi-hi to watch a comedy movie!" Melani breezed happily towards her room. He immediately went into the bathroom.
There is no bathtub, so it is impossible to soak. He even took a shower still with a dipper. The shower that still hangs on the wall above his head is very rarely used.
He immediately put on his clothes, pants along the calf and shirt became the most comfortable outfit while relaxing.
"Okay, time to enjoy the day off!" Melani threw her body on the bed, where there was already a laptop on the pillow.
"Derrrt... derrt..."
Shaking the phone made him immediately take the flat object on the nightstand.
"Oh my God, this holiday, why still have to see the call from Mr. Jendra anyway?" He complained when the name of his boss appeared on the phone screen.
"Hallo, Sir!" sapa lazy.
"Mel, get ready! I'll pick you up in half an hour. I'm already on the road."
Melani frowned. It is true that the man was on the road because the sound of a vehicle horn was heard on the sidelines of his speech.
"Pregnant? Prepare for what, sir? For what-"
"Don't ask too many questions! We're going to Bali now!"
tut...
Melani gawked at the screen of her phone. Jendra had ended the call unilaterally.
Melani sighed. He moved his feet lazily. "Why did Mr. Jendra suddenly go to Bali?"
"What's it taking me for?" Melani threw her suitcase into the bed.
"He does as he pleases to rule me. Does she think I don't want to live a quiet life without being bothered by her?"
Melani brings clothes that can be used for formal and informal events.
He sees himself in the mirror. He breathed a rough breath. "Why is it that every time I go to Bali, I never have time to make up?"
He remembered that during the holidays a few months ago, he had little time to prepare, and the cause was also the man.
Melani walked as fast as lightning to get to the bottom floor immediately. The handsome man who had been over the past three years always seen every day had contacted him many times.
Melani is greeted by the man's car. A white minibus-type car that does not seem to be driven by Jendra.
"Lake in!" jendra's orders have opened the car door.
Melani and Jendra are heading to the airport. Both are sitting next to each other.
"Sir, a little faster! I don't want to miss my flight!" Jendra's orders to the driver.
Jendra glanced at Melani who still looked fresh, let alone the woman's hair beside her was still a little wet. The aroma of the shampoo was also smelled to Jendra's sense of smell.
"Where are we going, sir?"
"I told you, we're going to Bali!"
Cellphone's ringing. Jendra answered a call from his father.
"Yes, Pa. Jendra's going there..."
"Quiet, Pa. Mama will be fine!"
Melani frowned, but she now knew why Jendra had invited her to Bali. Something happened to her mother.
"My mom fell and was found unconscious in the kitchen, this morning. Papa was very worried and asked me to come immediately."
"Sorry, I'm troubling you, Mel." Jendra looked at Melani who nodded.
"I don't know who to ask to accompany me."
"My mind was in a state of turmoil, because I was afraid something might happen to my mother."
"And under these circumstances, I don't want to go alone."
Melani did see Jendra's face look tangled. Melani knows, the man must be worried about the state of his mother.
"Please check, did I choose the right flight, Mel?"
Melani was a little surprised when Jendra asked her to check the ticket that the man had ordered from his cell phone.
Not sure about the ticket he ordered? Jesus, Sir? Why not ask for help as usual?
Too often, Melani always takes care of Jendra's needs, including booking airline tickets to hotel rooms if the man travels anywhere, bail for personal or work.
Melani saw, Jendra booked two business class tickets at one of the airlines.
"It's true, sir. We'll be leaving in an hour."
"Hopefully, don't miss the plane!"
Jendra nodded.
After more than three hours, they finally arrived at a hospital in the destination city.
Jendra pulls Melani's hand to get inside the hospital building. All their luggage was in the car that picked them up at the airport.
"Pa, how's mom doing?" jendra asked as he saw his father walking from the doctor's office.
"Mama is starting to improve. Come on, come with papa."
Jendra and Melani walk behind the old man they do not know is smiling. Surendra smiled amusedly when he saw Jendra's hand so tightly holding Melani's hand. The fingers of his son were even interlocked with Melani's fingers.
Why can't they feel that? I could see, they were so harmonious and complementary. Surendra.
Melani and Jendra went into the room and stood beside the bed of the woman who was lying in a slightly upright position.
"Mama..." Jendra wanted to kiss the back of her mother's hand, and that's when she realized that her right hand was still holding her secretary's.
Melani and Jendra both stared at their hands. Then with an awkward feeling, Jendra let go quickly.
"Mama, why is it like this?" ask Jendra who rubbed his mother's hand.
Jenahara smiled a little. His face still looks pale. "Mama's fine, Jend. No need to worry."
"Did you ask me to come?"
Jendra nodded. "Papa called and asked me to come."
Jenahara looked at her husband. "Why did you ask Jendra to come? Mama's fine, Pa."
"Papa's panicking, Ma. Papa's just afraid of something happening to mommy because this is the first time papa's seen mama pass out."
"Already, Ma. Don't argue anymore. I'm just glad that papa called me."
"I'll arrange your move to Jakarta!"
Jendra made a surprising decision for his parents.
"I'll be calm if you live near me. I'll find you a house, or maybe a land that's almost like yours."
"No!" answered both parents compact.
"It's very convenient, Jend. Mom and Dad are so happy to live here."
"But, I don't like the feeling of worry like that, Ma," said Jendra with emphasis.
"I couldn't, if I had to travel for hours just to see mom and dad. Especially in a situation like this."
"Jend, don't just because Mama passed out, you want to make us move out of this town."
"Mom.. please!"
Jenahara closed her eyes, because her head felt dizzy. Jendra immediately became panicked.
"Don't talk about this first, if you want your mom to get well soon!" surendra was angry with his son.
