Bar-Bar's Wife The Heir

Bar-Bar's Wife The Heir
Chapter 58 The Rich Husband

Kayla and Riana had just come home from shopping when the time had already shown almost 7 p.m. They spent several hours buying quite a lot of groceries.

Kayla slowly started to get to know Riana well. He heard a lot of stories from Riana about Kalandra in his childhood.

Kayla put the paper bag on the table that was inside her room. He rushed into the bathroom. The cold tap water makes his body feel refreshed.

He saw the luxurious interior in the bathroom measuring 2x4 meters. Not too broad indeed, but very inversely proportional to the bathroom in his house.

She felt lucky to be in this house with the status of no longer being a contact wife, but a real wife recognized by her own husband.

Kayla soon changed clothes. And one thing she realized, she had not seen her husband since.

"Where's Kalandra? I haven't seen her since I came home." Kayla muttered as she brushed her hair.

He immediately went downstairs, but did not find Kalandra there. If you haven't come home from work, there's no way the guy's car is in their garage.

"Where's Mas Kalandra, Bi? Aunt saw it no?" kayla asked Bi Marni who happened to be preparing a dish for their dinner.

"Oh, Mas Kalandra is in the gym, Non," replied Bi Marni. "Mas Kalandra also just called to deliver cold water there."

Kayla nodded. "Let me drive, Bi."

"Auntie just prepare dinner tonight," Kayla picked up a bottle of cold water and immediately went upstairs.

The gym is on the second floor, not far from the room. Kayla was quite amazed at Kalandra who took the time to exercise on the sidelines of the man's busyness.

Kayla opened the door to a room that already sounded classical music with a small volume. Kalandra is always tuning classical music to calm the mind.

"Mas, here's the drink" Kayla said, putting the drink on a long bench on the right side of the room. In front of her, only 2 meters away, Kalandra was walking slowly on the treadmill.

"Home home, baby!" kalandra asked in a soft voice.

Ah, the sweet word that always manages to make Kayla's cheeks meet red.

"How's the girls time. Exclaim?" Kalandra looked at his wife.

"Very exciting. But, we spent a lot of your money, Mas!"

"Buying this and that, from important items to not-so-important ones in my opinion."

Kalandra smiled. "No problem. Most importantly, you and mom are both happy."

"Aren't you angry, Mum?" ask Kayla.

"No, Kayla. If I'm angry, I've contacted you when a credit card notification message comes in on my phone."

"Ck!" decak Kayla's. "I almost forgot that I was married to a rich man."

Kalandra laughs. "Feel lucky, uh?" ask Kalandra.

Kayla laughs. "Not really."

"Why is that? Isn't marrying a rich man the dream of many girls? I mean, not all the hell, but most would want to live well after marriage."

Kayla smiled a little. He straightened his legs and looked at his feet which he moved right and left.

"I never dreamed of marrying a rich man, Mas." Kayla said honestly.

"Even marriage has not crossed my mind." Yes, he was still busy working hard to pay off the debt.

"My life goal is only one, which is to have enough," he continued.

"After Dad died, I felt I should have..." Kayla paused her words. "Yes, save at least! Because one day, if I'm hard enough, I don't have anyone else to help me."

Kalandra got off the treadmill. He sat down next to Kayla. Wiping the sweat with a small towel and chugging the cold drink.

"Now, you're not alone anymore, Kay!" Kalandra closed the bottle and put it back.

He grabbed Kayla's shoulder. "You have us now. There's me, Mama, Oma and all my family into your family too."

"I have treasure that will hopefully be enough for our lives to come."

Kayla slid her head on Kalanda's shoulder. He did not care even though his heavy shoulders were not covered in clothes because Kalandra was wearing a sleeveless shirt was still sweating.

Kalandra rubbed Kayla's hair. "My life has also undergone many changes Kay!"

"But I'm grateful for the change."

A lot has changed in his life. He became a husband, he and his mother got along. And Reyga chose to live separately with Gia, the woman who made him a little uncomfortable living in this house.

The two of them were quiet and enjoyed their company. Kayla keeps her head off Kalandra's shoulder.

"You'd better take a shower, Mom. Oma and mama are waiting for us for dinner."

Kalandra rubbed her head. "Bow me, Kay. I'm still tired!"

Kayla mengulu*m smile. "Don't spoil it, Mas!"

"Come, Honey!" kalandra Whine.

Kayla laughs. She stood up and walked away from her husband. "You're an adult, Mom."

"Usually also shower yourself."

Kalandra kept whining the made-up. The man was following behind Kayla.

Kayla went into the room and put a clean towel she had just picked up from the closet into Kalandra's neck.

"Get in the bathroom, now Mas!" Kayla pushes Kalandra's back slowly.

The man is still whining. "Five million for one bath!"

Kayla laughs. "You're not an Angora cat, Mas. And I'm not the owner of a cat salon!"

"Bring yourself!" Kayla locked Kalandra from the outside.

"So seriously I'm taking a shower myself, right?"

"You choose me to bathe with the consecution of two nights off, Mas?" Kayla shut her mouth holding back laughter.

Kalandra did not answer again. It is clear that he rejected that condition.

Both of them had only dropped by about half-time eight nights. Oma and Riana were already waiting at the dining table.

"Why not eat first, Oma, Ma?" asked Kalandra who felt bad for making the two wait.

"We also just sat down, Andra."

They had dinner together. Spending every mouthful of rice on their plate interspersed with small talk.

"Nothing" Kalandra said with her interlocutors on mobile.

Towards sleep, Kalandra's phone rang and there was an incoming call from Jendra.

"good. I'll be there after lunch tomorrow." said Kalandra again.

Kalandra ended the call and put her phone on the nightstand.

"What's up, Mom?" kayla asked curiously when she saw Kalandra's face looked serious.

She saw Jendra's name appearing on her husband's cell phone screen. But he could not hear, the two were discussing what.

"Jendra said the Clara house construction project will be carried on soon."

Kayla rounded her eyes. "Clara is back?"

"returned? Where'd he go?" ask Kalandra.

Kayla gasps. He shook. "I mean, he's been told? For a few weeks, she's been missing somewhere" Kayla explained.

Kalandra shrugged her shoulders. "Oh, Jendra just said he'd have a meeting tomorrow afternoon."

Kayla nodded. He will know everything tomorrow morning. So he doesn't have to ask much more.
