Chapter 30 The Arrival of Clara

"Whataaaa?" Melani screams as Kayla says she will fly to Bali tonight to enjoy the honeymoon that Oma gifted for their wedding.

"Geez!" Kayla covered her ears. "Can you slow down a bit, Ma'am?"

Melani silenced her mouth with her right hand. He did not realize his voice could penetrate to the lion's cage.

"I'm sorry Kay" he said, glancing at the glass door where the broken-hearted lion was. Safe, Lion gil* is not out of the cage.

"Are you seriously going to Bali?" Melani glared in disbelief.

Kayla nodded.

"Tonight?" ask again.

He nodded again. "Yes. 7 O'clock tonight."

"Oh God! Give this beautiful gorgeous singles a rich soul mate like Kayla's husband!" Melani said with her hands up like she was praying.

Kayla. "Amen! Hopefully this desperate singles soon meet the CEO who will be asking for it..." Kayla also prayed for Melani.

"Amiiiii." Melani said passionately.

"Mails..."

The two turned to the origin of the sound and coincided with the opening of the door of the crazy lion cage made of glass.

Melani scowled making Kayla even worse. Melani goes to the pantry to make coffee while muttering in annoyance. "Usually only gives commands through intercom. Why did he even appear at the door this time."

"Mel.." call Jendra to make Melani who has turned back forced to turn back to look at her Boss.

"Yes, Sir!"

"Clara will be here, in a few minutes, or maybe she's here by now. Later, just tell him to come in. Don't let him and Kayla fight!"

"Ready, Sir!"

Long live the caterpillar. Melani raises one corner of her lips and returns to her desk.

Clara sees Melani and Kayla alternating. Then stopping at Kayla's desk makes Melani alert and picks up the horses to pull Clara's curly hair if the woman does anything to Kayla.

"Jendra, is it in place?" Ask Clara.

"There's Ma'am" answered Kayla.

"She advised, you can go straight into the room," said Melani like a secretary who respects clients in this company.

Clara glanced at Melani and entered Jendra's room.

"Walking is still treading the earth just arrogant not playing!" Sinis Melani's.

Kayla laughed softly. "If floating, it means different nature, Ma'am!"

Melani laughs. "You're right Kay. But, looking around, he was indeed like that floating one, anyway!"

Kayla frowned. "A kind of invisible creature with long hair, Ma'am?"

"Well, what's a serem?" Kayla shuddered in horror.

"Not." Reply Melani seriously. "More like the one floating at times. That's a loh, the yellow one!"

Kayla thought for a moment, then laughed while holding her stomach. "It's so dirty, Ma'am!"

Melani propped up her chin looking at Kayla who was still laughing. "What's he gonna do here, Kay?" Ask Melani.

Kayla shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know, Ma'am!"

"It's definitely a personal matter because there's no meeting with him today" Melani murmured.

Meanwhile, in Jendra's room, Clara sat in front of his desk.

"What interest did you come here for, Cla?" Ask Jendra who feels there is no meeting schedule with his High School friend.

"none. I just wanted to ask you."

"What?" Ask Jendra quickly.

"Would the construction of my house be completed in 2 months?" Ask Clara.

Jendra sighed. "In the meeting already discussed, the construction of your house will be completed in 3 or 4 months. Then why did you come and ask to be completed in two months?" Jendra said a bit taut because it was clear and agreed in yesterday's meeting.

"Yes, I just asked. I don't live in the apartment I'm renting right now!" Clara is the only reason.

"Find the apartment that makes you feel at home. In area X seems to suit you." Jendra mentioned the name of a luxury apartment with complete facilities as a recommendation from him.

Clara smiled broadly. "Yes, I'll try to look around there."

"Ehm, alright!" Clara stood up from her chair.

"I'll go first. I just wanted to ask you that."

Clara walked out of the room with her sinister smile. He took the time to greet the two secretaries Jendra who were laughing giggling.

Clara's goal here was to find out who Kayla was and where she lived before she got married. But, Clara instead got the most useful information from the results of eavesdropping on the conversation Melani and Kayla.
