Bar-Bar's Wife The Heir

Bar-Bar's Wife The Heir
Chapter 20 Without Calandra

After Kalandra left, Kayla went straight back to her room. And everyone does their own thing.

Kayla asked Oma if she wanted to be accompanied or not. And the old woman refused. He said he wanted to rest in his room.

Kayla sits on a small sofa on the balcony of the room. It was very hot this afternoon, but the wind was quite cool. Kayla uses it to relax, but there is no Kalandra.

He started browsing on social media accounts with his smart phone. Nothing interesting so far.

"I can't come, Mom. My mother-in-law came from abroad. He'll be suspicious if I go and stay there."

Kayla looked for the source of the voice that sounded clear even though it wasn't too strong. It even tends to sound like whispering. Kayla stood up and looked over from the side of the balcony railing.

"Kalandra's not home, but there's my mother-in-law."

"No! I won't risk meeting you!" Riana talked to someone through her phone.

"Mama? Who's she talking to? Who can't he meet because there's an Oma in this house?" kayla muttered softly.

"Other times. I promise, but not now."

Kayla saw her in-laws sitting on a chair in the front yard of the house. And now, the woman was fiddling with her phone, like she was texting.

Kayla was actually curious as to who Mas was called by her in-laws. But, he did not want to interfere too much with things that are not his business.

"Sup... It's none of my business either!" Kayla sat back on the couch.

"I don't want to find trouble with them. This family has been wrong from the beginning. So, why am I dizzy taking care of things that I find a little awkward."

Tomorrow...

Kayla got out of her room in a work suit. He wears material pants and a matching colored blazer. He was carrying a medium-sized black bag.

Kayla sat at the dining table with the others. In front of them was served a plate of fried rice that Kayla cooked before she prepared.

"Why hasn't anyone had breakfast yet?" ask Kayla.

"Of course it's waiting for you" Riana replied.

Kayla smiles. "Thank you, we should have had breakfast first."

"Yes, let's have breakfast."

"Let's eat, Oma."

Oma smiled faintly and stuffed a piece of bread into her mouth. Women who have lived abroad for decades are more accustomed to breakfast with bread or wheat bread.

After breakfast, Kayla leaves for the office. He intends to order an online motorcycle.

"Non, the car's ready." A driver called Kayla on the porch.

"I didn't ask for a delivery, sir!" kayla said to Mr. Darmo, the driver who drove her yesterday to hospitals and shopping centers.

"The Rule of Mas Andra, Non. I have to drop off and pick up Non Kayla every day."

Kayla frowned. "But, Sir..."

"Non, please don't complicate my position. Andra's orders cannot be denied, and Mas Andra never changes his decision" Mr. Darmo replied pleading.

"All right!" Kayla got in the car. Even a driver knows he's the kind of guy who will never change his mind.

Kayla arrives at an office building. He went inside and went to his desk.

"Welcome to the newlyweds who have just returned home honeymoon," greeted Melani cheerfully as Kayla put her bag on the desk.

Kayla laughed a little. "Too long Mel!"

"Well, but right?" ask Melani tease.

Kayla pursed her lips while looking at the senior. "The new bridal party is right, but about honneymoon, you're wrong."

"No honeymoon, ma'am!"

"Loh, said Mr. Jendra you and Mr. Kalandra are honeymooning so your leave is extended."

Kayla curled her lips. Well, why didn't anyone ask me to lie about this. Neither Kalandra nor Jendra?

"Honeymoon's in the room!" kayla whispered while blinking one eye.

Melani closed her eyes. "God! Why did I lose to the boy yesterday afternoon?" Excited Melani who is a ting-ting virgin who next year will turn three heads.

Kayla. "I'm an adult, too!"

"We're two years apart."

Melani opened her eyes. He looked at Kayla's face. He also lifted Kayla's chin. The skinny hand behind the arm of the blazer was also Melani raised into the air.

"You look like a 20-year-old girl, Kay!"

"Mbak Melani likes to make up!"

"Seeing the mother tiger and her child fighting turns out to be exciting as well." Suddenly Jendra was already in front of the eyes of the two of them.

Both of them rounded their eyes and pretended to go back to work when the working hours had not yet begun.

"Why be busy? Just go ahead," pinta Jendra.

"Sorry, sir." Kayla.

"I'm sorry you had to ten times, Kay!" jendra orders with a serious look.

Kayla rounded her eyes. "Ke... Why is that, sir?"

"Yes, because it is your husband who likes it! There's just, asking for a week's of sudden leave."

"You're going to apply for a three-day leave, right?" Kayla nodded.

"Then, he arbitrarily asked for additional leave. He thinks this is what his grandfather's office is!" Jendra was angry to make Kayla pound out of fear.

"I'm sorry again, sir..." Say Kayla again.

"No need! It's not your fault!"

He said it had to be ten times. And I just said the second time, Mr. Jendra already said no need. Kayla's inner self scratched her forehead.

"Why are you on your forehead?"

"That's okay, sir!"

"Mostly kissed by Kalandra, right?" Jendra snapped a little. Fortunately, there was only the CEO and his secretary's room on this floor, and a few meeting rooms. Otherwise, it would be a shame for Kayla to make it.

Jendra walked into his room nagging. "Kalandra Based! Don't know what, if I just broke up!"

Kayla glanced at Melani who had already silenced her mouth holding back a laugh.

"Mbak Mel, Mr. Jendra why?" whispered Kayla. "Don't she usually?" He was still pounding hearing the scolding of the man who came joking but suddenly got angry.

Melani. "It's only been two days, Kay! Looks like we just broke up."

Kayla frowned. "Any, a breakup can make people go crazy* like that."

"Guestshh!" Melani put her index finger on her lips. "Don't discuss it again, or the lion will come out of the cage!"

"It's a job to be done this afternoon!" Melani hands over a stack of files for Kayla to work on.

"What?" Kayla surprised. "This much?"

"You don't know, Kay! Yesterday all day I couldn't work properly because Mr. Jendra told me to come here until my leg was broken!"

"He asked for coffee with sugar. Then ask to be replaced with coffee without sugar."

"Then he doesn't want regular coffee, he wants milk coffee."

"He who wants to stay up lamenting a broken romance, even I who bother, Kay!"

Kayla laughed looking at Melani who seemed to be in great torment yesterday.

"Mel, can the Boss be found?" ask a construction manager named Handoko.

"Don't Sir!" melani said to the forty-year-old man.

"The cloud is cloudy, not safe!"

"You want a report on a constrained project, right?" ask Melani again.

"Yes. It's important, Mel!"

"Go back to the room first, sir! Than you got sprayed and we both bothered!"

"That's it, Mel?" ask Handoko.

"Yes sir, even accompanied by a thunderstorm."

"okay! Okay!" The man named Handoko was according to. "Call me if the weather's safe!"

"Sip, Sir!"

Kayla laughs. "Must be, ma'am?"

"What?"

"Seek permission to meet Mr. Jendra."

Melani nodded. "Find it safe, Kay! Later on you will also understand by yourself."

Kayla did not expect, Melani refused anyone to meet the Boss with a sentence full of drama like that. Kayla thought, just have to refuse with a simple and formal discussion. Not by carrying the word weather and cloudy as before.
