Jendra has one idea that he believes will make Melani happy not overbearing. He believes what he gives his wife later is the thing Melani wants the most. But, to do so, it takes tremendous effort.
Jendra sat at his desk. He made a video call to Marshella - his mother-in-law and also his mother-in-law.
"Why, Jend?" ask Jenar. "Well, Marshella is there too?" Jenar was surprised to see Marshella was also in the call.
"Mom, mother, can I ask you for help?"
"Just say it, Jend. Is something going on with Mishel?" ask Marshella who would rather give that name to Melani.
"He's fine, mother. But, lately he seems to be feeling awry towards me."
"I don't know the reason either" Jendra said in a weak tone.
"Pregnant women are like that, Jend. Her emotions were up and down, she wanted a lot and there were some who hated her own husband."
Jendra. "Eat him, I just don't want his attitude change to affect the fetus in the womb, Ma."
"So, can I ask you to come? It seems like she often feels bored alone at home, and her condition is not possible to work."
Marshella rounded his eyes. He still did not want to set foot in the house.
"Mother, please!" Jendra pleads.
"This city has changed a lot over the last 30 years, Bun. Mother doesn't even know if they're still around or not."
"I beg you, Bun. Come for my wife. For the mother's daughter."
"I promise I'll give you an escort."
With all the persuasions and Jenar who also helped convince Marshella, finally the woman was ready to come along.
Jendra booked a ticket for four people, namely his father and mother, Marshella and Gayatri.
After packing, Jenar and her husband picked up Marshella and Gayatri as they were leaving at 6pm local time.
Jendra went into the room. He saw Melani curled up on the bed.
He tried to see his wife's face hidden behind the bolts. He lifted the roll and saw Melani crying.
"Hey, what's wrong with you, baby?" ask Jendra in a panic.
Melani sobbing makes Jendra more confused. He changed Melani's position to sit facing her.
"You why? Tell me, Mel? Your stomach hurts? Or do you want to eat something?"
Melani. He let Jendra wipe away his tears. He was feeling very sad. Not finished with his negative thoughts because of Jendra's dream of cheating, this time he even felt more sad.
His fear is becoming more and more. "I watched the movie ..."
"Continue?" Ask Jendra who is not curious anymore.
Don't tell me that she cried because she was moved while watching the movie, or felt sad because the main character died.
"His husband is very rich, continues to cheat even when his wife is hamiiiiilllll .. huaaa.. huaaa...." Melani was crying harder.
Jendra sighed and tried to calm his wife. He rubbed Melani's back.
"Srush! Be calm. It's just a movie, baby!"
"But it could have happened to me, Mom! I was pregnant. I'm lazy to dress up, and you're definitely intending to cheat with another woman."
"Good, Melani!"
"Not so, baby. Not every man cheats when his wife is pregnant. Look Kalandra! Look papa! They're loyal, honey!"
"If anyone is having an affair, that man's only a crocodile!"
"But you used to be like that, ma'am ..."
Jendra seemed to have mispronounced. He took a deep breath and held Melani's shoulder.
"Tonight, we're having dinner outside huh. I have a surprise for you."
"What, Mas?" ask Melani.
"If I tell you, it's not a surprise, baby!"
"You just get ready. You're gonna love what I'm gonna give you."
Her night. Melani keeps wondering when Jendra just takes her around town. They've been around for over an hour without stopping anywhere.
"Where are we really going, man? Why are we just going around in circles?"
"Is this the surprise?"
Melani frowned. "Is your surprise unfinished or may not be there yet, Mom?"
Jendra nodded. "Just a little technical error, Mel."
"Give me a little clue."
Jendra. "Secret."
"OKAY. Let me guess."
"Thank you. Who knows, you can guess."
"Are they decorating somewhere?" melani asked after thinking for a while.
Jendra. "No."
"What does this have to do with cake? Ah, but I'm not having a birthday."
Jendra laughed because she felt funny. Melani asked, but she also answered.
"What about blowing up balloons?"
"Yes, it could be" he replied. He just followed a quiz that shot him like that.
"What about the plane?"
"Yes, yeah, a little more!" jendra's reply made his wife think hard.
"Are you waiting for the plane to pass by carrying a lot of balloons on its rear wing?"
"As in the cartoon, Mas. And there's a cloth that says, I love you Melani. That so?"
Jendra closed her lips so that her laughter would not break. He just felt it was so ridiculous. Who is he who can organize such a crazy idea. Whose plane he requested was carrying balloons and banners behind him.
"You'll see it, in a minute, baby."
They arrived at a restaurant. Since then, Jendra tried to buy time for the four people to arrive first at the restaurant he had ordered before.
He takes Melani into a VIP room. The room was so dark that Melani clutched Jendra's arm.
"Mas, why is it so dark? You're not pranking me, are you?"
"Of course not, baby!" A familiar voice Melani heard as she turned on the lights in the room.
Melani's body trembled, she covered her mouth in disbelief as she looked at the four people she hadn't expected her presence.
Melani looked at Jendra questioningly. "This is the surprise, honey?" tanyanya and Jendra nodded.
"W-how did you get your mom to come?"
"With a little trick," said Jendra while glancing. "For the sake of calling his love for you."
Melani approaches and hugs Marshella. "I know, you can. Mother can definitely fight this fear."
"Mother can do it..."
"By being with you, baby! Demi can hug you like this. For the sake of being able to make up for our lost time just like that."
"Mother will always be with you, dear."
"I'm so happy, Mom."
"From tomorrow, work and don't show up in front of me too often because I'm going to be busy spending a lot of time with mom and mom and aunt Gayatri."
"Look! He'll even forget me, Ma." Everyone laughed at the behavior of the couple.
"What about papa, Mel?"
Melani thought for a moment and then she got a good idea. "Papa better just go to the office, Pa."
"Melani asked for help, keep an eye on Mas Jendra as these days, there will be two new secretaries."
"Don't arrive, Mas Jendra chose only because the woman's skirt hemisphere was too high."
Surendra laughs. "good. Just chill. For the sake of papa's grandson-in-law, papa will be watching him."
"If you need to, papa will find a man's aspri."
Melani was so happy. All these four people have always supported and understood the change in attitude. But, this time it all felt more real because the hugs and soft touches from mama and her mother were able to calm her down.
While Jendra, he could finally see a laugh and a cheerful smile on his wife's face. He will do his best for Melani's happiness.
