Bar-Bar's Wife The Heir

Bar-Bar's Wife The Heir
Chapter 21 Gia Vs Oma

Kayla arrived home around 5 p.m. He immediately set foot into his room by climbing the stairs.

"Why does he have to have a room upstairs anyway? Downstairs there were still plenty of empty rooms and he chose the top."

"Hem, it must be because he doesn't want his privacy to be compromised" Kayla complained because she had to climb up the stairs.

"Why did you get into your sister-in-law Gia's room?"

Kayla faintly heard Oma's voice from upstairs. Kayla immediately went up and she looked for the source of the sound.

It turned out that there was Oma and Gia who were in the TV room on this second floor. It's not far from Kalandra's room.

"I didn't go into Andra's room, Oma," replied Gia.

Hearing the name Kalandra called, Kayla stopped her steps. He stood behind the wall, on the last step of the stairs.

"Don't kink! Oma saw you were about to open the door to Andra's room. If Oma hadn't come you might have gone inside."

Kayla rounded her eyes. Why did Gia enter Kalandra's room? What is the snake woman looking for? Maybe he'll look for evidence about me and Kalandra.

"No Oma. Really am! I'm just bored. So I went upstairs to relax on the balcony."

"I'll be there." Show Gia on the balcony in front of that TV room.

Oma looked suspiciously. He was sure that Gia would enter Kalandra's room earlier, as she looked directly as she followed Gia who went up to the second floor.

"Then, why did oma see you approaching that door?" point the oma at the door of Kalandra's room in white.

"I'm..."

"I heard the sound of things falling from the room. Yeah, I heard it, Oma."

"I was curious, so I approached. But I haven't opened the door, Oma."

Oma gave a sharp look at Gia. "You are forbidden to enter that room!"

"Yes Oma. I'm not going in!" reply Gia fast.

"Again, why did I go inside. It doesn't matter to me to go into someone else's room either" replied Gia arrogantly.

"Good then" replied Oma. "Don't interfere in other people's domestic affairs, much less until you're bothering Kayla."

"Remember! She's your sister-in-law's wife after all. She's the leader's wife in this house."

"If he's upset because of you, then he has every right to make you leave this house."

Gia rounded her eyes. With great difficulty he swallowed saliva that felt as hard as a stone. How could he live a quiet life if Oma could just say that? What if Oma influences Kayla to drive herself out of this mansion?

She is not ready to live in a minimalist two-story house that is rightfully her husband.

"Then, excuse me, Oma." Gia leaves Oma.

Gia was shocked as Kayla seemed as if she had just climbed to the top. "What's wrong, Gia?" ask Kayla plain.

Gia looked at Kayla. He made sure the woman in front of him was really new to come or had been eavesdropping since.

Seeing Kayla waiting for her answer, Gia believes Kayla has just arrived. "No. Just being in a conversation with Oma."

"Oh." Kayla rounded her lips. "Are you very familiar with Oma?"

"Lumayan." Gia left Kayla.

Appreciable? Pretty upsetting? Kayla's inner voice while holding back a laugh.

"Mom..." Say hello to Kayla while kissing the back of Oma's hand.

"Just home?" ask the old woman.

"Yes, Oma. Oma what are you doing? Want to watch tv?" ask Kayla.

"No. Oma is chatting with Gia."

"Oma will go back to the room first."

"You rest!" Oma walked away from Kayla.

"If you need anything, don't hesitate to tell me, Oma."

"certain."

Kayla went into the room and made sure the room was safe. He checked the closet, the nightstand, even the bathroom. However, nothing suspicious at all.

Then Gia hasn't come in yet. Kayla smiled cynically. "He heard something fall? Nothing fell in this room. He who was bod*h wanted to trick oma with such a reason."

"Gia Fundamentals. Too short a path of your mind!"

"Either why the people in this house are so brave. The more danger, the more work."

After dinner, Kayla sat in a gazebo in the front yard of the house. He wanted to go into the room and enjoy the soft bed that the owner would not know when to go home.

It should be, today Kalandra has returned from out of town. But, as of 8pm tonight, the man's nose is not visible.

"Ck! Why am I thinking of him." Kayla muttered because she thought of Kalandra who had not arrived.

"It doesn't matter if he's coming home or not."

"But how did something happen? And I became a widow at my wedding just a few days ago" Kayla exclaimed.

"God! Amit-amit!" Kayla shuddered in horror.

Kayla looked up at the overcast sky to divert her bad thoughts. He smiled because he did not see a single shining star.

"Once I sit outside, there's no stars."

"Who are you talking to, brother?"

Kayla searches for the source of the sound and finds Reyga standing nearby.

He was quite surprised because he did not know since when the man was here. Kayla smiled awkwardly. "With myself."

"Why? Starting to get lonely because of being left behind by Andra?"

Kayla smiled again. "I think you know the answer, because you're married first" retorted Kayla who pretended to know what it was like. Kayla even pretends to not understand the relationship between Gia and Reyga is not harmonious.

Reiga laughed softly. "I never left Gia for days."

"My job doesn't require me to meet out of town."

"So, you're gonna do it, Rey!" reply Kayla quickly. "When your restaurant opens a branch in another city."

"It's still too far away."

"And I never wanted that. And I don't want to be as rich as the late papa or brother Andra."

Kayla smiles. "You're afraid to dream."

"No." answered Reyg. "I believe the saying, the higher the tree, the stronger the wind."

Kayla nodded in agreement. The richer it is, the more the test.

"Sister Andra is a stiff type of man. He made up his mind on what he thought was good."

"He won't change anything he's decided on."

"Are you telling me something bad about your brother, Rey?" kayla asked, looking at Reyga's face.

"No. Not so, brother!" rebuttal Reyga.

"I want to say that you have to be patient with it."

"I know, he's my husband, Rey!" Kayla's tongue was itchy when she said my husband.

Reyga smiled. "He's lucky to have a woman like you."

Kayla squinted her eyes. Yourselves? Not anymore brother?

"Well, hardworking, can cook, and it doesn't seem like you're matre."

Kayla laughs. "You're exaggerating. And where can you deduce such a thing, Rey?"

"I saw Kay!" Reyga looked into her eyes, leaving Kayla riveted. Kay?

"I saw it with my eyes."

"You are different from...." Reyg realized his mistake. He looked at his own brother-in-law and it was an unnatural thing.

"Gia?" ask Kayla.

"I agree with oma. Split up if you're not happy" he continued without further ado.

"Don't assume divorce is taboo, while your marriage doesn't bring happiness."

Kayla leaves Reyga. He was afraid of their existence being seen by oma, Riana or Gia.

"I'm going in first. And never look at me like that. I'm your brother-in-law. And there should be limits on brother-in-law."

Kayla did feel uncomfortable as Reyga looked at her like that. Reyga remains a stranger to her.

Reygah looked at Kayla's back. "You're right, Kay! Papa taught that. Papa thinks divorce is taboo. So that happiness is no longer expected to come from marriage."

Kayla who could still hear him was instantly stunned by Reyga's sentence. What is really going on with this family?
