Kayla and Kalandra walk towards Rajaswa Cottage's office. And when he arrived at the front door, Kalandra took off her arms.
"Wait a minute, yeah!" pinta Calandra's.
"Do you want to go inside and introduce them?" Kalandra smiled ignorantly.
"There's a handsome one, isn't there?" kayla asked while raising her eyebrows. "I want to, if there is one" he said.
"Nothing," Kalandra replied quickly.
"It's still my wife, but I'm looking for a new one!" murmured Kalandra while walking inside.
Kayla frowned looking at Kalandra who said in an annoyed tone. He ended up standing near several motorbikes parked in front of the building while waiting for Kalandra to come out.
"Whose black matic motor is parked in front of who's?" ask Kalandra to the staff who are working.
Everyone looked at each other in surprise. They also began to guess, roughly whose motorcycle Kalandra meant.
"Of the Wayan, sir!" answer one of the staff.
"Where is he now?"
"Find it!" kalandra's orders made all her employees frightened if they were negligent and made trouble.
Before long, a young man appears in an office boy uniform walking behind a cottage manager.
"Sir Kalandra called you!" the man said to a young man named Wayan.
"Sorry, what's wrong, sir? Can I help you?" ask the man politely.
"That motor belongs to you?" point Kalandra towards the parking lot.
"The far left." continued Kalandra.
"I-yes sir."
"Can I borrow it?" tanya Kalandra makes everyone breathe a sigh of relief including motorcycle owners.
Wayan nodded and gave him the keys to his motorcycle. "Please Sir. It's the key."
Kalandra took the wallet in her pants pocket. "What time do you work?"
"It's 5pm, sir!"
Kalandra gave several hundred thousand bills. "It's for you."
"No-no"
"Let me rent your bike." Kalandra cut out the man's sentence and gave the money to the pocket of her uniform.
"I'll give it back before you go home to work."
"Thank you, sir."
Kalandra came out and Wayan followed her. "What's up, Wayan?" kalandra asked because the man was following her steps.
"I'm going to get my friend's helmet, sir!" By chance Wayan went to work with his friend.
"Leave it. I borrow them."
Wayan finally understood when Kalandra was riding a motorcycle by piggybacking Kayla.
Meanwhile, Kayla is wearing the helmet Kalandra gave her. "Do you want to help me?"
"No need, Mom. I can do it myself" answered Kayla while wearing the helmet.
Kayla got on the bike and Kalandra immediately launched her motorcycle at medium speed.
They walked around and slowly moved away from the beach. They chose to head to the city and see the beauty of the island of Gods.
They pass through many places to eat such as restaurants and roadside stalls. But it seems they don't want to stop yet.
"This is your first time to Bali?" ask Kalandra to the girl who always looks to the right and left side alternately when she sees something interesting on the side of the road.
"Yes. This is the first time I'm out of DKI Jakarta province" Kayla replied without caring about prestige. He never went anywhere. He was born and raised in Jakarta. He never even knew if his grandparents might still be in the village.
"Haha... You serious?" the man laughed loudly. Because that means, Kayla never even went to Bandung which is not too far from Jakarta.
Kayla hits Kalandra on the shoulder. "i'm serious. They even laugh at me!" Resenting.
"A taekwondo champion never got out of Jakarta?" kalandra asked still in disbelief.
Kayla laughs. "You why the hell? What does this have to do with the taekwondo championship going out of town?"
"It's weird, Kay! You're never anywhere."
"I wonder, where have you been all this time? You never vacation or...."
"No. I've never been anywhere" cut Kayla softly. "I never vacation because my life doesn't." Kayla was immediately silent because she did not want her mood to be damaged while on vacation like this.
Kalandra felt Kayla was sad. He felt guilty for laughing at Kayla.
"I'm sorry, I made you sad. I didn't mean to, Kay!" Kalandra looked at Kayla who looked ordinary.
Kayla smiled with a forced smile. "Forget it, Mom!"
Kalandra looked straight ahead while the girl beside her also did the same.
Kayla tucked her wind-blown hair several times behind her ears. Kayla enjoys a sunny day with a strong wind.
"Tell me how hard your life was, Kay!" pinta Calandra's. "I want to know." He looked at Kayla.
Kayla also looked at Kalandra. He pulled one corner of his lips. "Nothing I have to tell you." Kayla looked down and her hands clutched together.
He looked back at Kalandra. "And the relationship between us, it's not that close. Until I have to tell you about my life first."
Kalandra sighed. The goal is just to let Kayla know that whatever happened in the past let it be a memory. Do not affect the present.
Kalandra smiled. "You're right, Kay! We're not that close until we have to tell each other the past that until now keeps you carried away by the feeling of remembering it again."
"We know enough of each other that what was in the past is only a wound."
Kalandra breathed deeply. "And now, you must be happy, Kay!"
"Your late father must have expected that."
"You need to keep him quiet by God's side."
Kayla nodded. "Yes, yeah."
"Don't the hurt and the suffering, the happiness I felt first would be painful if I remembered again."
"All the happiness you've been trying to create in our little family is now also a sadness for me."
Kayla looked up and wiped her tears that started to drip. Then he laughed and looked at Kalandra again.
"Because dad, the only person I love in this world I can't hug anymore."
Kayla started sobbing. Her tears burst out without excuse.
Kalandra pulled Kayla in her arms. "All you can do is pray that he will be placed in heaven."
Kalandra felt Kayla's shoulder shaken, a sign the girl was still crying. He let Kayla shed her tears.
Five minutes, Kayla had already wiped away the rest of her tears. Kalandra smiled. "You're beautiful when you smile."
Kayla laughed without a sound. "It's bad to cry."
"Ten-" suddenly Kalandra's eyes rounded perfectly when she saw the man she was chasing was crossing the road and went straight into her car. The man seemed to be buying a drink in a small stall.
She again? I can't lose track.
Meanwhile, Kayla looked at Kalandra's direction because the man did not continue his words.
"Why, Mas. You see who?" ask Kayla.
Kalandra immediately stood up and climbed on the motorbike. Kalandra also wears her helmet.
"I have to go after someone, Kay!" kalandra panicked.
"Who, Mas?"
"There's no time to explain!"
"I'm coming!"
Kalandra looked at Kayla then nodded. "Quickly. I can't lose track of that man again."
Kalandra drove her motorcycle at high speed to chase the black car.
"Handle Kay!" pinta Calandra's.
Kayla hugged Kalandra tightly because the man drove off the motorcycle very quickly.
"Mas, careful!" kayla repeatedly warned Kalandra.
"Be quiet! I can't lose track again, Kay!" kalandra said a little loudly because the wind made her voice inaudible to Kayla.
Kalandra tried to get ahead of the truck in front of her, but she did not notice the turn on the turn signal that the truck was about to turn right.
"Mas, awaaass!" kayla shouted as their motorcycle almost hit the front of the truck.
The man managed to brake suddenly. But the motorcycle fell down. He and Kayla bounced onto the asphalt.
A few seconds later, it nearly got them under the truck.
Kalandra soon woke up and she saw Kayla lying on the asphalt with a helmet that had gone somewhere. It turned out that due to the rush, Kayla did not put on the helmet strap properly so that she missed when the woman fell.
"Yahoooo!" Shouted Kalandra with a thumping chest.
