SUFFERING (parting)

My legs felt cramping holding Raka's head that was fast asleep. I tried to move my thighs that were the pads of it. But when I moved a little Raka was already awake.

" hemm dear heavy huh?" he half opened his eyes.

" my feet are cramping" withstanding the aching and tingling feeling in the legs. Raka then sat down leaning on his back.

" i'm sorry baby I'm so tired" Raka squirms moving her hand.

" yes I rest first well, now I'm sleepy" I said.

" iyah later in the afternoon I wake up I go out first to get fresh air" Raka walked out of the room, I lay my body on the bed. Then I closed my eyes slowly until I fell asleep in my dream.

Dusk has revealed itself. The sky had turned yellowish. The light enters the resort room through the window. I opened my eyes slowly, wriggling after falling asleep for almost 2 hours . I sat on the edge of the bed. I saw Raka playing her phone on the couch . I walked past him towards the bathroom.

" you've woken up" as soon as I came out of the bathroom Raka had kept the hape.

" well, look the weather is so beautiful" pecked in front of the resort window.

" let's go now" asked Raka.

"where are you going?" I looked at Raka who was still sitting on the sofa

"do you want to see the sunset ?the scenery here is beautiful, I want to give you a surprise" his face looks happy. His smile is always growing. I don't know what surprise he'll give.

"what surprise is it?" ask me to wonder .

" yeah yuk we walk if you want to know his surprise. " Raka pulled my hand out of the room. Then he locked the room.

" what a pity his surprise" I still tailed him from behind.

" you will see for yourself"

Raka kept holding my hand. I can feel the warmth this time. I don't know tomorrow if I can still enjoy this togetherness. Raka's decision this time has frustrated me. The dilemma between willing and unwilling is far from him . Distance Bandung - Singapore will be the boundary and space between us.

"Close your eyes first" he ordered when he arrived at the loby resort.

" why do I have to close my eyes" I said annoyed. Raka took the cloth in her woe pocket then closed my eyes with it.

" just come along" Raka clasped my hand back. I followed him by walking slowly.

After walking not far from the loby Raka stopped her steps. Then open my blindfold

" now open your eyes dear" sounded her breath in my ear.

I opened my eyes slowly. How amazing I was to see the incredible sight that was in front of me. A table with two chairs facing directly towards the beach with a view of the sunset is so beautiful. Along the way there are candles lined up neatly. Under the table were scattered heart-shaped roses.

Raka hugged me from behind, she was still smiling looking at my cheerful and happy facial expression.

" do you like it baby" she asked. I can't answer that. I grabbed the hape in my pants pocket. And Raka still wrapped her hands around my waist, keeping her chin on my shoulder.

" thank you voracious, my dear brother, I love his surprise" I turned to look at Raka and then peeked at her cheek.

Raka turned my body. Lifting chin. He put his lips to my lips. This time the kiss was so soft. One hand grabbed my nape. Deepening his kiss, one of his hands coiled around my waist. I return every kiss Raka gives . My hands were already coiled around his neck.The whole tongue was swept in my mouth. I knew this would be our last kiss. Long time we kissed I let go.

" let's sit there" Raka grabbed my hand.

" we take a selfie baby" I asked Raka to take a picture with me capturing this romantic moment.

" when do you prepare this all "question me while eating the food that is already on the table.

" when you slept earlier I asked the resort manager to prepare all this and the weather was very supportive" Raka still looked at me with her sharp eyes.

" why look at me like that" I said, blushing. Surely my face was blushing

" i love your smile today, it's always like this forever. I'll never make you cry nor anyone else I won't let it make you cry" Raka fed me with the fork she was holding.

"forgive me dear, this is the only way for my mother to cancel my engagement with nanda, and it works. Wait for me, you just have to trust me at this time" he said

" i'll always believe Raka, but what about the effort you're starting now, but it's growing well" in my heart there are still so many questions .

" you be careful there. I will wait for you until you keep your promise" I hugged Raka tightly back to return my embrace one hand was on top of my head then stroked her.

" that's dong, I'm relieved. You still busy with your band next week?" asked Raka who was still hugging me.

"yes, my schedule for the next month is still busy" I let go of his embrace. Enjoy the sun slowly setting on the western horizon.

" you don't have any college plans, dear" asked Raka

" alex Iko and Rasya took a leave of absence because they could not for their time." I did not think of it. His plans this year I wanted to sign up but the gig schedule was not possible.

" yes you don't have to go to college, you will be my wife, let me just find the money"

The sun was setting perfectly. The sky is getting dark. Raka and I went back to the resort room preparing to go home. Today is a day we will never forget.

We've tied the promise under the same twilight of the sky. Dusk be witness to our promise both. Promises that will somehow be realized later. But I believe we will be able to keep our hearts until that moment comes. The moment Raka would take me into her life. We just have to be patient waiting for time.
