Hitoshi stepped foot lightly entering Ueno Park while whistling a little. His eyes occasionally glanced at the people sitting and relaxing under the cherry trees with friends or family. There are those who eat and joke and some are burning meat. The same view every year during the day (spring) in Tokyo.
Two days ago, when Hitoshi and his family visited Ueno Park to relax and hanami (see cherry blossoms), he saw a girl sitting alone under a cherry tree. The look on the girl's face was a sadness. Hitoshi's arrival returns to Ueno Park today to see and get acquainted with the girl who has caught his attention.
Hitoshi smiled when he saw the girl he longed for under a cherry blossom tree. The girl looked up at the blossoming cherry blossoms. The hue of her face implied there was a bit of happiness there even though the impression of grief was still unenviable on her beautiful face.
“Konnichiwa (Good day)!” sapa Hitoshi ventured while sitting close to the girl. The girl looked at Hitoshi blankly. There was no smile, let alone a reply to his greeting.
“Gomen nasai (I'm sorry)! I'm Hitoshi. What's your name? Take it easy, I don't mean to be mean to you,” Hitoshi said softly.
Slowly the girl smiled at Hitoshi. “My name is Yuriko. Gomen nasai's! I can't see you. I'm a blind man,” said Lirih Yuriko who immediately bowed. The clear water flowed slowly, out of the beautiful eye fertilizers of Yuriko. Then he told Hitoshi that it was an accident that had blinded him one month ago in early spring.
“I can no longer see the beauty of sakura in spring, Hitoshi! Every day I can only feel the beauty of sakura and smell it here, in a cherry tree that always accompanies my solitude,” said Yuriko sadly as her hand grasped the cherry blossoms.
“Starting today, I will accompany you here. You won't be alone anymore, Yuriko!” hitoshi said while looking fixedly at Yuriko who was smiling sweetly.
As dusk begins to color the sky, Yuriko and Hitoshi part ways in front of Ueno Park. “I wait for your return tomorrow at one noon, Hitoshi!” said Yuriko smiled at Hitoshi before getting into the car that picked him up.
“I'm definitely coming, Yuriko!” hitoshi replied with a smile as he waved his hand at Yuriko. Hitoshi paddled his bike with a happy feeling. The flowers of love grew back in his heart.
After one week of their regular meetings under the sakura trees.
“You really don't regret your decision, Hitoshi. I'm blind, what can you expect from me?” ask Yuriko not sure.
“A week with you has made enough confidence in my heart if you are the one who is able to make me feel love again. I won't regret even if you have flaws, Yuriko. Your beautiful face and gentle demeanor make me unable to forget you!” hitoshi replied seriously. He held Yuriko's hand. Yuriko was silent. After a few minutes in her residence, Yuriko nodded her head and smiled.
“Arigatou gozaimasu (Thank you), Yuriko! I will love you with all my soul,” a happy smile expands from Hitoshi's lips. He soared in excitement in front of Yuriko whose face was met with red.
“If we always meet and love under this cherry tree, I want to introduce you to my family and propose to you as soon as possible, Yuriko!” pinta Hitoshi during their umpteenth meeting at dusk.
“If I get an eye donor and can see again, I want to see your family and you can propose to me, Hitoshi!” yuriko said as she tidied her wind-played hair. Yuriko's words further foster confidence in Hitoshi. Hitoshi felt that this decision would make Yuriko's situation better and bring her closer to the girl he loved so much.

Hitoshi sat under the sakura tree whose flowers gradually began to diminish. Hitoshi has not seen Yuriko for two weeks and she misses her boyfriend a lot. For two weeks Yuriko had her eye surgery but Yuriko did not allow Hitoshi to visit her because she wanted to make a surprise for Hitoshi.
“Wait here! In two weeks we will meet again. At that time I was able to see your face, see the beauty of this park with sakura blooming..” Yuriko's words ringed in Hitoshi's ears.
“Why today Yuriko has not come to this park? Though it has been the third week,” complained Hitoshi worried as he felt the cherry blossoms that fell on the ground, near where he was sitting waiting.
Today is week four. Hitoshi was still waiting under the sakura tree waiting for Yuriko's arrival like the previous days.
“Hitoshi!”
The voice that Hitoshi missed finally sounded to him.
“Yuriko, is that you?” tanya Hitoshi was happy.
“Hai (Yes), it's me. You're Hitoshi, right? What happened to you, Hitoshi? Why are your eyes blind?” Yuriko was shocked when she saw Hitoshi's current state.
Hitoshi was silent. Yuriko observes Hitoshi and feels he has been lied to by Hitoshi all along. “You lied to me! You are also blind. Why did you pretend to say I was beautiful? I hate you! We broke up, I don't want to have a lying, blind lover like you!” caci Yuriko was very angry at Hitoshi. Yuriko left Hitoshi speechless.
“Surely I never lied to you. Let you leave me, Yuriko. Let my waiting and efforts be in vain. As long as you are happy and those eyes are useful to you, I am already very happy. Take good care of my eyes that are on you now, yes my love!” hitoshi said in tears but he never regretted giving his eyes to his beloved Yuriko.
