Where Love Sleeps

It is a love story between a human and a robot, between Eiry and Rachel.

Eiry is a young man who doesn't have much time to live in this world while Rachel is a beautiful and sweet robot sent to help Eiry.

Finally, love unites them both in eternal sleep.

This is the tragedy of love…

_Stage 01_'s

‘You don't recognize me, but I'm in love with you. I'm just a human being who doesn't have long to live in this world. All I want is how to get this feeling to you.’.

That morning Rachel is escorted to Eiry's house to look after and help Eiry.

“Excuse me? rachel shouted while opening the door. “Mr Eiry, introduce my name Rachel?” he continued, bowing his head and bowing respectfully.

Z .z .z .z . .

Unfortunately Eiry was still asleep on the couch after a night of thinking about her marriage. Otherwise due to his father's insistence, Eiry prefers to spend the rest of his time relaxing and doing things that please him.

“(Maybe Mr. Eiry is not feeling well. Poor thing, Mr. Eiry doesn't have much time. that's why I'm made)” said Rachel in his mind.

Before long, Eiry woke up from his sleep. And soon Rachel gave a respectful attitude to her master.

“Master, are you awake? Anything I can do for sir?” he said he still kept his head down.

“Hhh.. You're that custom-made doll, huh?”

“Yes.. Your father sent me and ordered me to help you”

“Either what the old man thought, I ‘kan have no time to mess with the doll?! Next month my fiancee is coming, I have no time to spare, that's why I want to rest now in order to be able to carry out my obligations for ‘Married before dying’?!”

“So I don't need?”

“Take it easy, I don't have the strength to kick you out. Please stay here for a month?”

“Alright sir, (strange.... humans can create robots and can fix anything, but why can't they fix Mr Eiry? Is the damage to Mr. Eiry very severe?)” thought innocently.

A few days later, in the morning.

“Good morning mr Eiry?”

“For Rachel... (fuck! my view is blurred) h .h .” Eiry endured the pain while holding onto her stomach.

“Mr Eiry, you why?”

“It's okay, I'm just dizzy”

“Let's Mr. Eiry help me sit” said Rachel, holding Eiry's hand.

“Thank you Rachel”

“I get tea for sir.”

When Rachel finished serving tea, she looked at Eiry with a curious look.

“Why are you looking at me?”

“Can I ask sir?” he said with a serious mimic.

“Ask what?”

“Mr Eiry suffered what damage? Can't it be fixed?” said it.

Suddenly Eiry laughed.

“Hahahahahahaha!! Aww!!” he held back the laughter for a moment because his heart ached when he laughed too loudly. “Hihihi!!” continued with a soft laugh.

“Why did you laugh?”

“I'm different from you! If your program is damaged it can be reprogrammed, if your machine breaks it can be repaired. But if the human machine breaks down it is very difficult to repair. Damage to one organ can torment the other.”

“Where are your damages?”

“Here..” he said while holding the surface of his heart. “Very severe liver damage. And this damage is infuriating, excruciating, painful. If there's a right donor I've recovered a long time ago. But unfortunately there is no right donor, even in these last moments.” he said in a raucous tone and unknowingly his tears had flowed.

Rachel immediately gave the napkin to Eiry. Eiry received the napkin and covered her face with the napkin. Rachel just watched Eiry without knowing what to say, but the program understood that this human was crying because of something that made her sad.

_Stage 02_'s

A week later, in the morning.

“Mr Eiry, what do you like?”

Eiry looked blankly at Rachel. He felt something interesting about his female robot.

“Master?”

“Hm?!” he woke up from his daydream. “You said what?”

“What do you like?”

“What do I like? I don't know, I forgot. That you? What do you like?”

“I love it when I'm charging my battery. I love watching you laugh and cry. I like it when I'm asked to do something.” he said expressionlessly, and always have been.

“You like it when asked to do something? Then I ask you to smile.”

“Smiling? Why should I smile?”

“Smiling can make you seem more real. Smiling is the most basic form of service. Serving with a smile can make the person you serve feel more comfortable with you, so he feels closer to you. In human life, a smile is the most important thing.”

“So yeah? So I have to smile. like this.” he said, then showed a sweet smile.

“Ya so. With that smile I became more comfortable now. Usually you always show an expressionless face, it makes me uncomfortable.”

“Hmm!” Rachel laughs sweetly.” It was the first time I received such criticism. I'll keep it well in my memory.”

“(This robot is sweet too.. Ehh! Am I crazy!!! When I fell in love with him?! Haha! Impossible!)” he said in his heart.

“Master, it's time you took the medicine.”

“Ok. Thanks for reminding.”

Two days later, in the afternoon. Eiry was enjoying her cup of tea and Rachel was standing next to him. Eiry threw his gaze at the fallen leaves of the trees outside.

“Are you looking at those trees?”

“Ya.”

“Why?”

“Close come out with me.”

Eiry got out of her chair and started to step out of the house and Rachel followed her from behind. They walked up to a tree and stood under it. Eiry looked up at the tree for a moment, and Rachel imitated it.

“You know why these leaves are falling?”

“Yes. Because it's autumn, and it's a natural thing.”

Then Eiry turned to Rachel as well as Rachel.

“True. But more precisely because what grows will fall and the living will die.. Actually I envy you..”.

“Eri? Why?”

“If there is no meaning and use, the robot will not be created. We know the leaves must fall because there is a time when they must fall. But humans want everything to continue without anything changing, with the hope that such a robot like you is made, ‘do not die and do not change’, that is the dream of every human being, he said, so you have meaning and I became envious of you”

“Actually I am also envious of sir. I was jealous because I couldn't laugh, cry, and feel pain like a master. Sometimes I feel like I'm just a fake thing that has no end, except for the humans who ended me. Could die of life, but I.”

At that very moment Eiry pulled Rachel's shoulder and hugged her.

“Can you hear my heartbeat.?”

“Ya sir.”

“It will stop soon, and when it happens I want you to be by my side.. You're Rachel.”

“Good sir.”

“(How do I get my feelings to you? I know it's crazy, but I'm falling for you.)”

_Stage 03_'s

A month is about to pass, and since Eiry has to go out of town to carry out her engagement, her father sends a car to pull Rachel. This turned out to make Eiry sad and agitated.

“Live two more days I'm with master, yes?”

“Iya?”

“Two more days your fiance will come, ‘kan?”

“That's how?” eiry said with a sad mimic. “You still remember your promise back then, ‘kan?”

“Still master. Whatever happens I will keep my memories with you well. I'll be next to the master when that ‘detak’ stops. I promised and I will keep it.” he said with a smile.

“Actually I don't want to part with you. If I could choose, I would rather spend time with you than with another woman who only wants my property.”

“Why do you prefer to spend time with me?”

“Liking me? But I'm just a robot.”

“Therefore I like you.. Unlike my duitan-eyed fiancee, you want nothing from me, only to serve me well. Even though you don't have a heart and a heart, you have a pure and innocent nature like a child. You just want to serve well it means you want to serve with all your heart. That's why I like you so much.”

“Mr..”

In that instant Eiry grabbed Rachel and landed a kiss on Rachel's lips, then hugged her tightly. Rachel did not understand, but she felt like something was shorting in her program, she felt like she was hit by a small electric current that ordered her to wrap her hands around Eiry's back and she did.

Eiry shed tears on Rachel's shoulder, she won't let Rachel out of her arms.

“I like you Rachel.. very much like you... I love you..”.

“I also like Mr. Eiry.” he replied innocently with a smile, although he himself did not know for sure what he had just said.

‘I don't want anything, I just want you to be by my side until then it will come.’

Two days later, in the morning. Eiry was ready to leave.

“You wait here, I will solve my problem with my fiancee. I also canceled your pickup car. Once my problems are over, I I'll be right back here. And we're leaving this place. Promise not to leave this place no matter what.”

“I promise you.”

Eiry kisses Rachel on the forehead and leaves her immediately. He immediately drove his car to the airport to meet his fiancee.

On arrival at the airport he soon met his fiancee.

“Hallo Eiry, I miss you so much! Why are you so long ago, I've been waiting for you! Oh yea! I heard that uncle sent you a female robot to help you, I envy that robot. I should have accompanied you, not that ugly robot!”

“Please watch your talk Sherry! I didn't come here to pick you up, but to tell you that I wasn't going to marry you. That's it.”

“What?!” said the woman did not believe. “What uncle asked you?”

“No, it's my own will and decision.”

“I can't believe!!? Is this because of that damn robot?!! Did you fall for that stupid robot?!”

“Yes. I fell in love with him and loved him. I'd rather be with her, than with a woman who wants to marry me because of my treasure alone?!”

“Can't be trusted!! It doesn't make sense!! You're stupid or what Eiry!!! How could you love and be loved by a robot, and make love to a robot?!! Impossible Eiry!! Didn't you ever realize that I wanted you so badly?!”

“All you want is my treasure.” replied Eiry ketus.

“God?!! You are indeed***Eiry!! You'll regret it!!”

“Whatever you want to say. I go first.”

Eiry walked away from her fiance.

“Oh yes, I heard you canceled the goddamn robot pickup car, huh?”

Instantly Eiry stopped his steps and turned to the woman.

“I've guessed this happened. So I instigated uncle to send me another pick-up car. And uncle asked them to erase your robot's memory.”

“You are a fucking woman!!”

Eiry immediately ran away from the airport and immediately got into his car and sped up quickly.

“Rachel, survive.”.

At Eiry's house, three large, well-built men were gathered ready to catch him. This happened because Rachel opened the door for them because they claimed to be Eiry's acquaintance.

“Wahh? The sweetness of rich people robots, different from ordinary robots?” said one of them.

“You what you three are. Why are you carrying that little bit of electricity?”

“Sweet robot, we were told to take you from here and erase your memory. And if you fight back you can already imagine what happened, ‘kan?”

“No. I've promised Mr. Eiry not to leave this house, and no one can take away my memory except myself.”

“Sweet robot, your master is about to die. You'll be left for good. He is different from you, you have no soul, the thing that you consider memory or memory is just a lie

“I don't care if it's a lie or not. But obviously no one is allowed to take me from here and erase my memory unless I want it and unless it's Mr. Eiry's orders!” rachel said in a high tone.

“You're troublesome too huh, sweet robot! Then the three of us will have to take you by force!! Let our friends clean this one robot, so we can relax again?!!”

“Ok!!”

Immediately they turned on the electric rifle with a high voltage, and approached Rachel carefully.

“Do not approach! Or I'm forced to kill you!”

Rachel's right hand turned into a revolver gun. A weapon powerful enough to penetrate the seventh layer of human skin. Helper robots like Rachel are equipped with such weapons. The weapon was used just in case, only when he and his master were in danger.

“Bigger!! You dare to pull out your weapon!! You've broken the rules, you fucking robot!! You cannot take out your weapons unless you and your master are in danger!! Hhh! You made us even more have a good reason to deactivate you!!! Stupid robot!!” they laughed satisfied.

The three of them fired a fairly high electric shock. Rachel could only scream withstanding the electric shock. Until finally someone hit one of them with a baseball bat until it collapsed to the floor. At once two other men stopped their shots, and turned to the hammer.

“Rachel!!”

Eiry immediately ran over to the powerless drooping Rachel. Eiry touches Rachel but she instantly pulls back her hand, Rachel's body overheating from the sting.

“Master is back?” he said in a voice like a whisper.

At once Eiry stood up and looked at the three people. He felt his emotions had reached the crown. If only he held a gun, he had shot the heads of the three men.

“Damn it!! Get out of my house right now, before I call the police!!”

“Basic humans don't know are lucky!! It's about to die, still acting arrogant!!” said one of them.

“Damn it!! You hit my head!! Now accept the consequences!!” said the man who was hit was able to direct some electricity to Eiry.

“What do you want to do, Bob?” ask one of them.

“Stop him and his damn robot!! Don't you guys want to follow?!! After they die, we search this house, take all its precious treasures, then leave this prison town!!”

“Hmm, great idea!! I'm also tired of this fucking job!!”

“I too!! Hahahahaha!!”

“Damn it! What do you want!!! Quickly lift foot from my house!!”

“Quiet young master!! We'll speed up your death process with your robot. Wouldn't it be better if you all died together?! Isn't that what you want?!”

“Ok. Prepare everything!!” bob told his two friends.

They took up the electric weapon and pointed it at Eiry and Rachel.

“(No! I won't let them hurt Mr Eiry!!)”

At once, Eiry heard the whirring of a bullet three times from behind his body. The three men immediately dropped their weapons, as each bullet hit their right arm. And soon Eiry looked back. He saw Rachel's right hand turned into a revolver and let out smoke that smelled of gunpowder. Then the revolver turned back into a hand.

Immediately captured Rachel's body when it was about to fall, and carried it with both hands. Rachel's body was still warm. He saw the three men running in a mess while issuing swear words.

Then Eiry took Rachel to her room and laid Rachel's body on her bed. He sat on the edge of the bed holding Rachel's right hand which felt warmer because of the revolver eruption.

“It turns out you're light enough to carry. I thought you might weigh a hundred kilos more!?” eiry said with a smile.

“Haha!! I weigh the same as any other normal woman, sir!” he said in a soft voice. “Master, is it true that what I consider to be a memory or a memory is just a lie?”

“No! That's not true. All memories have meaning. Lying means that our togetherness is not real, but because our togetherness is real, it has meaning. Although one day one of us will lose this memory, but one of us will keep it. That's why you and all your memories aren't lies. You are the most real thing in my life and in here.” he said as he placed Rachel's hand on his chest.

_Stage 04_'s

Suddenly Eiry felt a very piercing pain in his heart. It hurt so much that he shed tears.

“Master? You sick?” rachel asked in a weak tone.

“No. I'm it's okay. Take it easy, soon it will be over. I will not feel pain again for good.”.

Soon Eiry lay down next to Rachel. She kissed Rachel on the forehead and then gently kissed her lips. Then Eiry brought her head closer to Rachel's head, while still putting her hand and Rachel's right hand over her chest.

That afternoon the sky looked very bright, Eiry could see the fallen leaves that were outside from inside his room.

“(God! This pain I can't hold any longer.. Please don't make me suffer more.. Take me and Rachel with you now. Although she has no life but she has a soul born from me. Because half my soul is with her.

“Master? I love mister.” said Rachel with her sweet smile.

“I love you too.. Now we close our eyes, will we?”

Thank you for reading this short story until it's over.. I'm very happy. ^_^

Oh yeah?! This is my first book?! I wrote this story in 2nd grade Junior High.

I was inspired by a movie, but I forgot what the title was. The film tells the story of a male robot who falls in love with a young girl from the family he serves. And finally he decided to leave his master's house, and asked a doctor to make him human. It took him years until he became a half-robot. But he did not know that the woman he loved was old and married also had a child similar to that woman. Long story short, he and the girl loved each other and eventually they died together peacefully in a house.

About the names of the stores, honestly first I wrote this story I do not know what to name these two characters of my story. But finally, I decided to use the name of my best friend for her female character, Rachel. For Eiry, I thought of a name for her for quite a while, until one night I managed to connect the four letters together. And I really like his name.

I also apologize to all my friends, because this story has many shortcomings. But I'd be very happy if my friends gave me feedback.
