CHAPTER 97

Marvin came out of the gate, and intended to go walking around his house. There is nothing important that he will do. He just wanted to train his feet to get more used to walking.

Just as he was passing by Ivander's house, the man turned his head when he saw the gate open from the inside. Marvin's eyebrows shot up when he saw that Anne had opened them. Not long after, the Mercedes Benz was metallic black, coming out of the barrier of the house with two passengers on board.

Marvin nodded as Ivander gave him a horn before leaving. He walked over to Anne who was still staring at the departure of her employer's car.

"Who would go with Ivander, if you were here?" Marvin put one of his hands in his pants pocket, staring at the shoulder-haired woman.

"Who else? He has a wife. Of course he went with his wife. If they need me, I'll definitely go with them." Anne answered Marvin's question with her body leaning against the gate.

"Nessie, you mean? I seem to have missed the news. Are they back together?" marvin asked as if very curious about the life of his neighbor.

Anne clucked slowly and shook her head. "Obviously that's not my domain, Vin. I don't have the right to answer your question, do I? If you're curious, just ask her."

Marvin exhaled, feeling it was futile to ask Anne. He took out his hand, and was about to walk back.

"Come to the house. Ailey we've picked up." Marvin immediately left Anne's presence after saying this.

While Anne who heard Marvin's words, looked at the man's back with a shocked look. "really? Why did you just tell me!?"

Anne immediately closed the gate of her house, and walked hurriedly to Marvin's house. He really felt it had been a long time since he last came to visit Sherina.

"Sherina!" Anne had even shouted excitedly, ever since her feet had stepped inside the house.

Anne folded her lips inside, startled as she looked at the two little girls, who were asleep in the middle of the bed. He narrowed his eyes, then walked closer to the bed.

Anne sat on the edge of the bed, and watched Ailey's face closely. "Truly similar to Marvin."

Sherina nodded her head and tilted her head, to come look at Ailey. His gaze turned to look at the princess who was just as beautiful. It's just that, on Niskala's little face, there's still her remains that make her a little different from Ailey's.

Sherina lowered her head, with a sweet smile embedded on her lips. True what Anne said, she was too lucky. To the extent that she got a man as perfect as her current husband.

Marvin never snapped at him. Never asked him to do something he didn't like. Treat her as if she were a queen. And accept everything that is in him.

"Whatchu mean? Following for what? I'm not getting remarried anyway. I just want to fight for custody of my only son." Anne turned her gaze, and looked at Sherina who was frowning.

"Aren't you and Ivander ... I love seeing your closeness. Don't you have any other feelings?" ask Sherina who does not know about the return of Nessie and Ivander's relationship.

"What other feeling? I consider him my master, nothing more. He is still the husband of that woman. So there is no other possibility in my relationship with Ivander." Anne replied so casually.

"Nessie?"

Anne nodded and told me everything that had happened these three months. Anne even said that now her job to take care of Kanwa is no longer intense. He was with his little master only when he loved. The rest, the one-year-old boy will be with his parents.

"So they're back together? God, I really don't know. I'm sorry, Ann." Sherina stroked Anne's arm, which made Anne frown.

"Hey, why so suddenly? Is there a problem? And why didn't you tell Ivander, all day long? What if he hasn't prepared everything for you?" Sherina straightened her body, and looked at Anne.

"My first lawyer said I had little chance to claim custody of my son. Although the percentage of success is uncertain, but I will still try."

Sherina shook her head and took a deep breath.

"You can't relax when it comes to children's problems. I'm gonna ask Marvin for help with your return, and your son's custody. We just trust him. I'm sure one hundred percent of this will work, if Marvin handles it."

"No need! I've been troubling you guys a lot. I have enough money to take care of this. So don't bother." Anne tried to subtly refuse Sherina's remark.

"Be quiet! Your money, you keep it! My niece needs milk and a good education, later!
