Madam No Man

Madam No Man
CHAPTER 89

Marvin no longer knew what to say to answer his wife. He stretched out his hand, and warmly grasped Sherina's small hand.

"Please don't believe me, Sher. Maybe he just set us up. Some don't like our relationship, maybe." Marvin still does not accept the fact that he has a daughter other than his wife.

"Who will do it? Ivander's? Nessie's? Or even Alissa, your former assistant? There's no way they are, is there?" replied Sherina with a furrowed eyebrow.

Marvin was silent at his wife's words. Of all the ones mentioned, why is there one name that he almost forgot?

"Alissa? What's this all got to do with him? Where did you know him?" sue Marvin who made Sherina smile sick.

"You remember that?" The sweet smile on the woman's lips grew even more.

That wound-filled gaze, began to divert, along with a heart that was slashed with pain.

"I don't have any relationship with him, believe me. I never even considered himself more than my assistant. We've never had more feelings"

"But he has, Vin. She likes you. She wants you." said Sherina, who looked straight into her husband's eyes.

His body shook so hard. She grabbed her husband's hand, and clasped it so tightly.

"The night he gave up his body to help you is one proof that he has feelings for you, Vin. That one night, it finally produced an innocent child, whose whereabouts were completely unknown to his biological father."

Sherina explained so excitedly. The man stiffened for a moment. That night? What does his wife mean is the night he was framed by his business partner?

"Honey," said Marvin who wanted to ask Sherina more fully.

But as if not wanting to extend the topic, Sherina immediately wiped away her tears, and sighed a little harshly.

"It's been too far to talk about it. Rest, first. I'll turn on the surveillance cameras in Niskala's room."

Without looking into Marvin's eyes, the woman got up from her seat and walked out of the guest room. He walked up to his daughter's room, did what he said to Marvin.

While Marvin, the man was still in deep shock after receiving this news. He quickly picked up his phone, and contacted someone who had long been his right-hand man.

"I'm asking you to investigate what happened to my wife, before our departure abroad. And also, give me information about the life of Alissa, my first former assistant. I asked you before tonight to send it."

After saying everything he needed, Marvin disconnected his call. He threw his phone into the bed. The man leaned his body against the head of the bed, then closed his eyes.

Somehow there are so many problems that stop by in his life, after intending to always be with Sherina. He let out a long breath, while loosening his shoulders.

While in the house directly across the street, Anne, who had just walked out of Kanwa's room, immediately stopped the scale. He turned his head and looked at the door in the house.

"What's wrong?" ivander asked, before going into his son's room.

"It looks like there's a guest. I'll see him." Ivander looked at the shoulder-haired woman, who was currently walking towards the living room.

Ivander did not follow, he chose to enter and see the son who was still asleep. This week he rarely spends time with his son.

It shouldn't be a taboo, for an Ivander not to be close to his son. But after a few days together with Anne, she learned what an inner bond is between her child and her parents.

"Papa misses you, champ." Ivander laid his body on the edge of the bed, and kissed his son's forehead.

Anne was shocked to see who was at the door. The gazes of the two women met each other, for a moment.

"Is my husband here?" asked the woman with the pale face, to Anne who was still speechless.

Shortly after sitting in the living room, the woman took a deep breath and smiled stiffly at Anne. "Can I see my husband?"

Again Anne who had been observing Nessie's face, a little jolted. He who was sitting across from that Nessie, smiled for a moment.

"of course. I will call her to the Madam, "Anne answered so kindly, and was about to stand up from her seat.

But as Anne stood up, Nessie suddenly asked a question that surprised Anne a little. "What's your relationship with Ivander?"

Anne was silent for a moment. He neutralized his facial expression, and smiled back at Nessie who was looking at him with a slightly less friendly gaze.

"I'm Mr. Kanwa's nanny, ma'am. It just so happened that I was already a mother, so that I could become a mother of milk for Kanwa. There's no connection whatsoever between me and Mr. Ivander."

Nessie is expressionless. She stared at Anne's pretty face for a while. "Thank you for taking care of my son. I owe you a lot,"

Nessie held back her tears as she recalled the son she had deliberately separated from. While Anne was, she simply nodded and smiled warmly at the heartfelt greeting of the woman before her.

"It's been my duty, madam. I understand exactly what Madam is feeling for now. Honestly, I'm glad to see the Madam coming here."

Nessie lowered her head and squeezed her fingers. After feeling brave enough to face her husband, she quickly raised her head.

"May you call my husband, now?" pinta Nessie, directed by Anne.

The woman gave her permission to leave and went to Kanwa's room. He looked at Ivander who was closing his eyes as he kissed his son's small hand.

"Ivander, wakeup. There's a guest for you." Anne called Ivander, which did not immediately make the man open his eyes.

Anne let out a sigh, and tried to nudge the arm of the man in the white shirt. "Nessie's waiting for you."

Hearing the name Anne had just said, Ivander quickly opened his eyes. He frowned and immediately got up from his position.

"What does he want? Why not tell me first?" ask Ivander who he's aiming for himself.

Anne looked at Ivander who stood up and was about to step out. But, with a sudden he instantly stopped his intentions.

"You're here, just. Don't ever come out!" tell Ivander before he gets out of his son's room.

According to Anne, she did not come out of Kanwa's room at all. Meanwhile, Ivander walked out, and his steps came to a halt, when he saw Nessie's shady face.

The woman did not immediately greet him so expressively. She only gave a smile so thin as to greet her husband.

"Hi, Van." The two words managed to make Ivander's heart feel stopped beating for a while.

The man did not reply, and only nodded his head faintly. He sat across from the woman who is still his wife.

"How are you? Are you and Kanwa okay?" asked the woman with tears that ultimately did not succeed in her braids.

Ivander tightened his jaw, for some reason there was something different in his heart. He clenched his hands tightly and then cleared his throat for a moment.

"I should have asked that question, Ness. How are you doing? Everything all right?"

Nessie closed her eyes for a moment, before answering her husband's question.

"What mother do you think will be fine when they are separated from their child? Why are you being so mean like this, Van?"
