CHAPTER 57

Marvin was speechless when Sherina asked him to leave. He sighed and looked at the mother of his son, who was trying to stand up.

Sherina managed to catch her breath with a hand that stroked her stomach, after she managed to stand up. The woman lowered her head and looked at Marvin.

"Get out, I want a break." Sherina disconnected the gaze of the two, and rushed over to the end of the mattress.

The woman immediately lay back to the door. While Marvin was, the man started to get up and looked at Sherina with his weak gaze.

Marvin sighed so heavily, before finally catching up with Sherina. The man knelt down right next to Sherina's bed, and stroked the woman's stomach.

"Darling, help me persuade your mother, huh? Mom is angry at the moment. So, you're asking for help, honey?" The man stroked Sherina's stomach very fondly, then landed her kiss in Sherina's stomach.

Sherina's not budging. The woman who had closed her eyes, and was ready to fall asleep, let Marvin have a conversation with the baby.

"Has mother always been like this, hm? Is it always mad at you?" Marvin came closer to Sherina's stomach.

He really misses this woman. He did so much that he could be with Sherina. After hugging Sherina, the man got up.

She kissed Sherina's forehead so deeply while stroking her head. Shortly before pulling his body, he also landed his kiss on her lips.

"Rest." Marvin pulls her body and covers Sherina's body, before exiting the woman's room.

Marvin closes the door and makes sure Sherina is completely asleep. "Is he sleeping?"

"You're right. If I had come to see him that night, he probably wouldn't hate me this much." Marvin rests his body on the dining chair, as his mind is thrown into the night where he comes to see Anne.

"Just calm. It's only natural that Sherina is angry, for now. But just wait a few moments. He will definitely come back with you. In any case, you are the father of baby Sherina. Just relax."

Anne knew what the man opposite her was thinking. He offered his warm tea to Marvin who was immediately greeted by a thank you from the man.

"What if the anger is prolonged? I don't want that to happen." Marvin thinks what if Sherina doesn't forgive him.

"That's been your risk. Your job now is to fight to get an apology from Sherina. You do it, so you're responsible."

Marvin goes back inside Sherina's room to catch up with the woman. He walked towards the bed, after locking the door again.

So slowly, the man climbed into the bed and slept right behind Sherina's body. His burly hand immediately embraced Sherina's body and carried her into her arms.

"Anne's right, I'm the one responsible for all this. I promise I'll make you really fall in love with me, and forget that guy." The man's determination was very strong, then began to close his eyes while inhaling the scent of Sherina's body.

When Marvin who has begun to sound in his sleep, it is different from Sherina who just woke up. The woman who made both of her palms as pillows was secretly shedding her tears.

Why is everything different? Why is there no more heart beating when he looks at Marvin, as before?
