CHAPTER 40
Sherina spent almost half her day crying. He still doesn't know what Marvin's really up to. Why also the man sent a photo that is not even in accordance with expectations, people later.
The woman, who was still curled up on the bed, suddenly turned her head as her phone rang. Sherina sighed when she found out she was Marvin.
"Yes?" sherina asked after she received a call from the man.
"Can you open the door? I'm in front" said Marvin straight to the point, and said he was in front of Sherina's apartment.
Sherina, who knew about it, immediately got up from her bed. He rubbed his face, as he walked forward to open the door.
When she arrived at the front, Sherina was surprised to see the item carried by Marvin. "Vin, what are you doing?"
Sherina immediately picks up the bouquet of flowers that Marvin offered her. The woman got rid of her body, and gave way to Marvin.
The man simply sniffed his shoulders, then placed some paper bags that he had brought onto the table. Sherina immediately shut the door again, and caught up with Marvin.
Sherina stops right in front of Marvin who is taking off his black hat. The woman raised her head, and looked at Marvin's face.
"Why do you bother bringing all this?" Marvin who heard the question from Sherina, lowered his head, and looked at the two Sherina netra.
"I don't bother at all, honey. Why do you think that, hm?" marvin replied so calmly, stroking the top of the woman's head.
Sherina just sighed, as Marvin treated her so warmly. Honestly, he was a little surprised, only now was he treated so sweetly by someone.
"Is the bouquet not heavy? Your body is even wrong with the bouquet" said Marvin with a joke that made Sherina laugh.
"In the meantime, I'm gonna put this in there." Sherina walked towards the table next to the balcony window. Marvin who saw it, immediately took his phone.
He pointed his camera at Sherina and smiled as he managed to take a few shots. "Sher?" call Marvin who makes Sherina turn her head back.
Just as Sherina turned her head back, Marvin again took her portrait. Sherina is shocked by what Marvin is doing. The man smiled sweetly when he saw the portrait.
He smiled faintly as he learned Marvin was taking his portrait secretly. From the man's expression, Sherina saw a sincerity from the smile Marvin showed upon seeing his portrait.
"You like it?" asked Sherina who immediately made Marvin shift his attention to his woman.
"Yes, I like it. I love everything about you." Marvin stroked the top of Sherina's head, then carried Sherina in his arms.
"I know, maybe your judgment of me is bad. My way of getting you back to me, I admit, was wrong. But I'm grateful, because it makes you here with me now,"
Sherina who was drowning behind the chest of the male field just fell silent. He does know what Marvin did yesterday, can really traumatize him.
"You haven't had a bath and a meal, have you? Take a shower, I've brought you some food" said Marvin, then took off his arms.
The man asked Sherina to take a bath. Sherina, who has not had time to clean up since this morning, decided to obey what Marvin said.
The woman left Marvin outside and went inside her room.
While Marvin, the man took a cigarette out of his pocket and lit it with his match. With so painstaking, the man who was smoking, took out the food he had bought earlier, and he arranged it at the dinner table.
When he finished, the man walked to the balcony to finish his cigarette. The man rested his body on the balcony with a mouth that continued to reflect smoke.
The man's thoughts have been starting to fill up lately. In addition to her thinking of strategies to expand her business again, Sherina also contributed the burden on her mind.
Yesterday he could so confidently take Sherina right away. But she doesn't know she's Ivander's wife.
