CHAPTER 9

"Calm down, you'll meet your lover once you're fully recovered. After all they had recovered, there were no cuts or bruises on the woman. Now you think about your health first" Sherina said, lowering her head and about to walk away from her husband.

"Are you mad at me?" ivander asked in a low tone, which managed to make Sherina stop her intention to return to sitting on the sofa.

There was a great tremor running through Sherina's body when she heard her husband's words. The blissful happiness mixed with the relief, managed to make Sherina's tears down even more.

"You're asking me, am I angry or not? If I go back to the question to you, how do you feel?! Would you be mediocre if your wife was secretly in a relationship with another man, and then contained the seed of that man. What are you gonna do?" With tears coming down her cheeks, Sherina turned her back and looked at her husband.

Ivander who saw Sherina crying looked half shocked. As long as one knew marriage, never did Ivander see the fragile woman in front of him cry.

I don't know what's really in the man's heart, but he was disappointed when he saw Sherina crying. He felt that he had failed to look after a woman who had never even limited his life, as he had asked.

"You haven't even touched me in a year of marriage. But now you're impregnating your secretary. Then you ask me if I'm angry or not? Why don't you divorce me, then marry her?!" snapped Sherina with a stifled tone.

There was a great burden in the heart of the woman, so that she seemed so sorry in the eyes of anyone who looked at her.

"Do you think I'll take all of your parents' property straight away, if you divorce me? Calm down, I'm not that subtle to the point that I'm going to do it. I'm not as cruel as you who still keep me in this disgusting bond!" As if having a new friend, Sherina let out what had been a burden for her.

Ivander did not answer any of the questions his wife had asked. Ivander just stared at Sherina who was still able to stand firmly in front of him.

"If it wasn't for the vows I took in front of Mom and Mama, I could have made sure that you were happy with the woman of your choice. If it wasn't for that, I would have been happy with my choice. But since I don't want to be eaten by my own oath, I'm still trying to stay here." The words said by Sherina make Ivander ter-trigger of things that he almost forgot.

It's where the most stressful night Ivander and Sherina ever had was. Where the night is, is the last night to decide who will be helped. Is dad Ivander or Sherina's mom.

'Ivan thanks mother a lot, Ivan does not know what to repay mother's kindness in a way. Ivan could only receive a message from his mother to look after and make Sherina happy. Ivan promised mom.' That's what ever came out of Ivander's lips.

But as if he had forgotten what he had told his late father-in-law, Ivander never even made the things he said come true.

"Where did you say you'd make me happy? Don't make me happy, even you never reprimand me first even if it's just saying hello. Where are all the words you used to say?" Sherina asked, trying to collect all the promises Ivander had made to her and her mother.

"What did you say? Can you repeat what you just said?" sherina asked immediately after she realized what her husband had said.

While Ivander who did not want to repeat what he had said, decided to turn his face away from his wife. Ivander regretted what he said. He shouldn't have said what had stuck in his mind all along.

If Ivander thinks Sherina will just walk away and forget what she said, then she's wrong. Sherina wasn't that stupid until she missed a sentence her husband accidentally said.

"Can you repeat what you just said? You think I'm the cause of my mother, don't you? How can your thoughts lead to something that even a child can not do to his parents?!" sherina said with tears coming back down more and more.

Sherina really felt inexhaustible with what her husband thought of her. How could her husband accuse her of killing her in an accident, which did not even include her at the time.

"You even invited me to go to the hospital, and said that my mother had an accident with both of your parents. Then why can you say that I was the one who made my mother die?!" With a tone full of anger, Sherina raised her tone.

Ivander who heard the words from Sherina was still unmoved. The man was engrossed in staring in any direction and did not want to look at Sherina at all. Until the words that even Ivander first heard, managed to make Ivander turn his head with a look of surprise.

"I should feel sorry, right here. Because in the way my mother devoted herself to your family, my mother's life had to be lost! If only my mother had not been given the choice to work because of economic difficulties, my mother might still be by my side! But you see, your family is still intact until now. While me? I'm just an orphan girl stuck in this sickening marriage!" obviously Sherina who this time can not cover all her suffering.

The woman's tears flowed again along with Ivander's increasingly sharp gaze. The man tightened his jaw with a straight look at Sherina.

"Don't you ever dare to take my parents, in a relationship full of these games! You're not worth it to the point that you're allowed to take them and talk about them with your dirty mouth!" ivander's snapping is getting Sherina fed up.

How can he still survive in this kind of toxic relationship, afterwards? Will Sherina hold her heart to sue her husband?

"You're nothing more than a lucky woman who got the affection of both my parents. I don't know what's gonna happen to you if you don't meet my parents. I'm sure you'll be a bum begging for help from people out there!" maki Ivander who this time can not hold back his anger, after hearing his wife vilify both parents.

"You should be in your mother's position, now! After all my family needs your mother to be a slave in my house, rather than you who can only spend my parents' money!" hina Ivander innocently who instantly can make Sherina surprised not play.

Not only was Sherina shocked when she heard the insults from Ivander, but the same was felt by two people who had just arrived at Ivander's ward.
