CHAPTER 96

Sherina was still crying in her husband's arms. He looked at the two girls who were soundly asleep, in the middle of the bed.

"I saw him go, Vin. I'm late" Sherina said with fear, which made Marvin tighten his arms even more.

The man closed his eyes and kissed the top of his wife's head feelingly. Sherina hugged her husband's arm, with her gaze that had not moved.

"I don't know, how did Ailey feel when she found out that her mother was dead? He needs his mother, Vin." Sherina drowned her face on her husband's shoulder.

Already half an hour ago they arrived home, and that's how long Sherina has not stopped her crying. Marvin can only understand. Sherina is also a mother.

"Dear, relax. Everything's gonna be fine. Didn't you say it? You are his mother too. I'm sure you'll take very good care of him. Right?" Sherina raised her head and nodded.

Marvin kissed his wife's dry lips for a moment. The woman closed her eyes as if regaining the calmness afterwards. "You're gonna be a really good one. Prove it to me for everything you said yesterday."

Sherina took her breath and smiled with a puffy face. He nodded his head so confidently. "I'm going to be a good mother to both of them!"

Marvin returned his wife's smile and stroked the top of her head. He let his wife walk to the bathroom to change clothes.

The man's gaze was currently fixed on the sleeping little girl right next to Niskala. After doubting his credibility about his relationship with the girl named Ailey, Marvin now feels completely speechless.

"Why does he look so much like me? It's absolutely impossible." Marvin muttered softly as he continued to observe Ailey's face.

It's true what his wife told him. She and her daughter had no difference at all. Only gender differences make the two different.

"You're really lucky, little girl. You get mommy on as good a side as my wife. Be happy." Marvin braves to stroke Ailey's head.

The toddler squirmed for a moment, which made Marvin immediately pull his hand from his head. She looked at Ailey who turned her body, and hugged Niskala so warmly.

Marvin lifted his head when he saw his wife coming out of the bathroom. The woman in navy home clothes, approaching and widening, was happy to see Ailey's sweet treatment of her sister.

"Why so sweet ... Mmm," said Sherina before she kissed Ailey's cheek with her lips folded inward.

The woman was really anxious, and could not wait to be able to interact with the boy. After showering Ailey's puffed cheeks with her kiss, Sherina now moves on to her little daughter.

"When you're not alone anymore. You already have a brother, are you happy?" sherina said with a hand playing her daughter's little hand.

Marvin used one of his hands to support his body, and tilted his head until he touched his shoulder. He looked at his wife with his deep gaze.

"The kids are asleep. Then what are we gonna do?" marvin asked after being silent for a while.

Sherina turned her head, and looked at Marvin with a puzzled look. "Waiting them to sleep. Then especially?"

The plain question filled with innocence managed to make Marvin exhale. The man pulled his hand, and sat up straight.

"Aren't you interested in doing something fun?" asked Marvin again who made the eyebrows on Sherina's forehead shrivel up.

"Something fun? What's the example like?" As if completely clueless as to what her husband was talking about, Sherina again asked her husband.

Marvin relaxed his shoulders and shook his head. "Nothing! I don't have an example for what I just said!"

Marvin got up from his seat, and walked out of his room. "It looks like Sherina will forget me. How could I regret having given him one new toy. Aarghh!"
