CHAPTER 141

The man's hand froze. His breath was stuck with it, just after hearing the words of the wife. The sharp eyes of the man grew dark, along with his jaw which began to harden.

It's different with Sherina. The woman wept even more because she did not get a response from her husband, even though she had bullied him with something she did not want at all.

The woman began to give up when Marvin did not answer her words at all. She wiped her tears so harshly, trying not to waver and give up so quickly.

It was as if she could hold on to her wall of selfishness any longer, but in fact Sherina could not.

"Go! You want to leave me and the kids, don't you?! Then just do it! You're nothing but a selfish man who's never aware of your mistakes!"

"So you're saying!?"

The desperate Sherina immediately gasped as Marvin got up from his position, and stood facing him.

The man's gaze implied a great disappointment when he looked at his wife. He pierced through the wife with his gaze so deep, that Sherina's tears went down even more uncontrollably.

"Year-years, Sher. All these years I've been patiently waiting for you like crazy. You don't know how sick I am when you're not by my side. You only judge everything by your point of view!"

Sherina's body froze, when the first time in her life the husband snapped her in such a high tone. There was a vibe that was so stifling to her when she looked at her husband, at this moment.

"You know I'm the only one guilty, right?! Well, it seems like I don't have to keep this a secret from you anymore!" marvin breaks up with his anger, which immediately leaves Sherina.

His big step quickly returned to the wife who was still standing in her place. He opened the large brown envelope violently, and he immediately took out the contents so roughly.

"You hate me so much, don't you?! Then fill yourself with all this, before I go!" Marvin throws a few sheets of paper that he managed to get out of the envelope, and threw it in front of his wife with disappointment.

Sherina, surprised by her husband, stared at the papers now scattered on the floor as her husband threw them. The woman's body was still stiffening, with eyes that began to scan the small print printed on the paper.

'LABORATORY INSPECTION RESULTS'

Sherina's heart beats twice as fast as when reading the sentence. His eyes turned to look at the two dark eyes of the husband who had reddened because of holding back anger.

"Why?! Take it and read all this stuff I'm hiding, from you!" asserted Marvin who was too sick with all the behavior of his wife.

With her hands clenched tightly, Sherina lowered her body and took the letter. The woman's tears stopped immediately, along with her heart that stopped beating.

Marvin gritted his jaw, staring at the expression of the wife who seemed to not believe what he was reading.

After being able to deduce what she was reading, Sherina shook her head with a breath stuck in her throat.

"It's impossible, isn't it, Vin? It's not yours."
