CHAPTER 52

Ivander, who had just managed to open the door to Sherina's house, was shocked to see Sherina crying. He quickly approached and hugged his wife.

"What's going on? Why are you crying?" The man tightened his embrace on Sherina.

The woman remained silent, not answering. He spilled all his troubles in Ivander's arms. After almost a month of her keeping everything alone, she felt like there was a shoulder propping her up.

Ivander let Sherina feel relieved by crying, then stroked his wife's small back.

As long as Sherina was content to cry, the man quietly resolved his longing for the woman who was still his wife.

"Calm down, I'm here." Ivander stroked the top of Sherina's head lovingly.

After a while, Sherina finally calmed down. The woman who was still as unwilling as that, looked at Ivander as the man had taken off his embrace.

The man's heart turned blue when he saw his wife's thin face. The darkened bottom of her eyes made Ivander feel like she was failing to be her husband.

"Easy relieved? Can you tell a story?" So gently the man said as he walked down the beautiful face before him with his sharp eyes.

Sherina exhaled her breath filled with fear as she raised her right hand. Which has the test results. Her trembling hands showed that she was really frightened by what was happening to her right now.

Sherina shows Ivander the testpack, blankly.

In an instant, Ivander's body stiffened. His gaze was fixed on the thing that Nessie had shown him, a few months ago.

I don't know, Ivander felt like his world had stopped. He hoped it would be just a joke.

"You're pregnant?" ivander asked with a blank look at Sherina.

The woman nodded, and lowered her head again. She was crying, ashamed of what had happened to her.

"Who did this to you? Is it because of that night?" The man's throat felt like it was suffocating.

Sherina. He could not have said, if Marvin was the father of the baby he was carrying. "After I tried to resuscitate you."

After saying that, Sherina tried to get up from her position. Leaving Ivander who was still bending next to his knees with his blank look.

"Go home, I want to rest." Sherina said weakly, wiping away her tears.

"Is that guy Marvin? Is he the father of your baby?" From the man's words, there was a huge disappointment as he said it.

Sherina looked at Ivander whose eyes were turning red. He did not answer, and just walked out of Ivander's presence.

"Geez!" Ivander rubbed his face violently, exhaling heavily.

"It's all my fault!" Ivander is really sorry. This all happens because of it.

Is this karma from his past actions? The time when he impregnated another woman. And currently his wife is impregnated by another man?

Ivander instantly felt like he had lost his mind. The man's gaze was so empty. There was nothing else he thought of other than his wife who was currently pregnant with another boy.

He went home and spent his time, contemplating in his dark room. He thought about how ahead.

Did he really have to let Sherina go, after this? But to be honest, the man was still unwilling to let Sherina go.

"If you let go, after knowing that she is pregnant with another man's child, it means that your love is insincere. It's as if you're just after her girlhood, not with her heart. If you really love your wife, whatever her condition will be. It's because of you, isn't it?"
