"What is impossible?! Right, you didn't read wrong! That's what your husband's been hiding!" The man's breath began to hunt, as if it had all the heavy weight on his shoulders.
Sherina cried in disbelief. It was impossible if the husband had gone through all this alone. Chronic kidney failure, which has even been known since 4 years ago, really managed to surprise the woman.
Sherina shook her head, still rejecting all these truths that she had just known. There was nothing he could do but cry over all his regrets.
"Four years, Sherina... Four years I've been holding all this." Marvin approached and blocked his wife's small arm.
"You don't know, how crazy I'm asking God that you might come to your senses. Besides because me and the kids need you, I also want my illness to be treated immediately. I don't want you to know if I'm sick, if my life was threatened years ago. Butwhat? Even after you realized, you didn't want to see me at all."
Sherina breathed in with the accompanying headband. She did not believe everything her husband said. More precisely he could not accept all the statements that started from his afterthought.
"You only believe in your ex-husband, who still loves you. You don't believe me, I'm the one who obviously would never dare to make your trust disappear just like that. Who am I to you, Sher? Why are you changing so much?"
She shed those men's tears. Slowly she began to erode the distance between the two, which made Sherina have to raise her head in order to stare at the man.
"Part apart! That one word always comes out of your lips! How guilty am I, to the point that you repeatedly uttered that scorn!? Our marriage just got here?" whispered the man with a chest that felt so tight.
"I realized, maybe I'm not your soul mate. Our paths are starting to differ, now. I desperately begged God not to leave me, when I couldn't see your beautiful face clearly, later. And even when my hearing is no longer good, you are still willing to care for and love me. But here you repeatedly hope that our marriage will end soon. Was my prayer in vain?"
Sherina shakes. She held her husband's arm in an increasingly uncontrollable cry. He knows he's guilty.
"No... I beg you to forgive me. I'm guilty." Sherina said in a choked voice that had absolutely no meaning in the man's ear.
After saying this, Marvin immediately left Sherina with nothing. It made Sherina's body goosebumps. If there were no bed behind her body, she might have been sitting on the floor.
For a moment the woman froze, remembering the incident that had just happened between her and her husband. What did Marvin say? He wants to grant her request?
But not finished with his thoughts, suddenly he immediately rose from his seat. His current goal is in the file cabinet that is in his room. As he recalled, in this room there is a cctv that is only connected to his personal monitor and the husband.
Sherina quickly accessed the monitor and instantly felt more limp. His breath was stuck in his throat, with his heart feeling so stifled.
His eyes that still continue to emit water, staring at the turn of the cctv recording numbering in the thousands with eyes full of fear. Not just once twice, even hundreds of times the husband was seen vomiting with a very alarming state.
He knew, maybe the effects of the many drugs Marvin was taking made the man change his body a lot.
She closed her lips so tightly when she saw the cctv tape where the husband had fainted, and there was no one to help her. He lay just like that on the floor, until the man regained consciousness.
"I'm sorry, Vin. I failed to be a good wife to you." Sherina turned off her monitor and bent both knees so firmly.
He thought about what step he would take after this. He realized that all this was just a misunderstanding.
After thinking for quite a while suddenly the woman got up with the rest of her energy. She was determined to find her husband and talk about his decision.
"Lord, I love my husband. If he's my destiny, don't separate us."
