Madam No Man

Madam No Man
CHAPTER 119

Anne did not flinch. He closed his eyes for a moment and rested his head on the back of the sofa. The tired face of the woman was clearly visible when exposed to the television.

Ivander looked at the beautiful face of the woman from the side, with a gaze so deep. I don't know what the man was thinking, but there was a sense of comfort when he saw Anne was back with him. He's here right now.

"It's out of business hours, you're no longer my job." Ivander stuffed his hands into his warm clothes, with his gaze still fixed on Anne.

"I'm just tired. That's it," Anne replied without opening her eyes. He closed his eyes and moved his body as if he was being put to sleep by his mother.

Ivander thinned his lips, and let out a long sigh. He turned his body completely against Anne, who was still curled up in a sitting position.

"Why not bring Louis along? You're not gonna miss him?" Ivander rested his body on the arm of the sofa, and raised both of his legs right next to Anne's thigh.

Anne was silent. His two eyes that were still closed, quietly began to shed tears. Her head began to feel dizzy, when her cries were as usual as Anne could bear.

"I asked you to take it along because I'm serious, Ann. Anyway you just got back together with your son. I'm sure you'll always want to be with her." Anne drowned her face even more, afraid that Ivander would find out she was crying.

"His father still wants it. It's true, Marvin's already set it all up. But I as a mother must have fear. I was afraid my son would leave me again. His father's not that good." Anne began to speak in her stifled voice.

A sense of tightness once filled his chest cavity, this time. He breathed a little hard, because of his stifled cries.

Seeing that, Ivander thrust the tissue on the table, and helped Anne lift her face. "crying, no one forbade it. Crying won't make you look weak, in my eyes."

"Don't I tell you, if you bring your son here. I'll be in charge of everything. I hired you, so I should have taken care of your son too. We have to be mutually beneficial, right?" Ivander recalled what he had told Anne before the news of Anne's return to Indonesia.

Anne did not listen to Ivander. He did not want to talk about his son in front of others. She refused Ivander's tissue and immediately wiped away her tears. He drank the coffee he had made, and it was still under Ivander's observation.

"I'm sorry, I'm too emotional. Forget it, assume I never talked about it." Anne allowed her hair, and tightened the white blanket that wrapped her body.

Ivander glanced in any direction, for a while before finally facing Anne's body fully facing him.

"Annelis, listen to me. I know I have many faults and many flaws in your eyes. Don't know if you know everything or not, but I just want to make it clear that it's true." Anne listened to Ivander's words with her flat face.

"You think I'm doing all this just to get you back to me, then it's true. I was completely empty when you came back without saying goodbye to me. I need you, miss you, and want you back soon. Yeah, I admit that I really like you. I'm really serious about you, Ann."

Ivander stared at the two eyes so intensely. Her big hand on Anne's small arm, managed to make Anne feel a little shivering. She's feeling as nervous as you?

"If you still have doubts, it doesn't matter. I'm not forcing you to believe what I'm saying. I'm saying all this so I can calm down, I can sleep well. If you ever leave me again, at least you know that I love you so much. It's all in your hands, Ann."

Anne felt tight when she heard Ivander's confession. What's wrong with his heart, why is there a strange vibration when he knows if the man in front of him, turns out to have a taste for him.

Anne shifted her gaze and let out a long sigh. He didn't know what to answer with, after all Ivander said.

"It's too late, to talk about it. Go back to your room. I'll catch up with Kanwa."

Anne immediately stood up from her seat, which made Ivander immediately hold Anne's hand. He stood up and lowered his head to look at Anne.

"I've said it over and over again. I don't like to be denied, Ann. Not because you're the woman I love so much, you're thinking of changing my principles!" It was Ivander who didn't make Anne blink.

"You think I can sleep well, knowing that you have trouble making a living in Germany?! No, Ann! I'm mad at myself, I failed at you. I'm even like a lunatic, who can only monitor you without being able to help you. So please listen to me, I beg you." Ivander lowered his tone, which made Anne grit her teeth.

His chest felt tight again. With great difficulty he swallowed his saliva and held back his tears that were already at the end of his eyes.

"Thank you for everything, I appreciate everything you do. Have a good rest" said Anne almost without a sound, then passed Ivander by and into the room.

Ivander was silent. Suddenly he was confused by what he had just done. She was shocked because without preparation she even directly told Anne everything.

"Well... Gosh darn. So I love her?" In a tinge of disbelief, the man stared and remembered each portrait of Anne's surprise when he heard it.
