Madam No Man

Madam No Man
CHAPTER 67

Marvin, who heard Sherina's words, stopped himself. He looked at Sherina and waited for what the woman would tell him.

"Forward. This has not improved" he said with the hope that Marvin would follow his words.

Marvin didn't speak. He took his chair and stroked Sherina's stomach. From her gaze, Sherina was convinced that Marvin was worried about her and their child.

"Did Ivander tell you I was here?" asked Sherina trying to make small talk with the man.

Marvin didn't respond to Sherina's question. He focused on looking at Sherina's stomach, which contained her flesh and blood.

"Marvin .. I'm talking to you." Sherina touches Marvin's burly arm, which is instantly shunned by him.

"Then do you expect me to get word from which guy again?!" Marvin answered so tightly.

Sherina who heard Marvin's stern reply was silent. He did not expect the man to say such a stupid thing that even sounded crazy after he tried to speak well.

Marvin realized that what he said just now, could hurt Sherina's heart. So after Marvin fell silent regretting what he just said to the pregnant woman.

The two of them remained silent without talking to each other. Sherina just stared at Marvin's burly hand that was still stroking her stomach.

None of them were willing to start a conversation first. Yes, communication is a barrier for both. They both had high egos, and no one wanted to tear them down.

"I-i"

"Vin, man,"

When both want to start a conversation, they are together. The two fell silent and waited for who among them was willing to speak first.

"You speak first." Sherina looked at Marvin with her nervous look.

"No, you're just." Marvin still used his flat tone to talk to Sherina.

"No, I won't talk until you do." The stubborn Sherina made Marvin grind his jaw.

"Easy! No need to talk and don't solve the problem!" Marvin no longer spoke softly.

Either that guy's heart has hardened or something. But seeing Sherina who always denied his request and underestimated various things, making the man have to drain his patience.

Sherina was silent again. He realized, he would not be able to break this stone so violently either. He had to make Marvin trust him again.

"All right, I'll talk." Sherina relented and looked at the two netra belonging to the man.

Marvin speechless. She waited for Sherina to speak with the hand she pulled back. The man with his sharp gaze looked at Sherina so intensely.

"I'm sorry. I know this is all my fault. But you shouldn't just walk away, let me explain first." Sherina tried to apologize earnestly to the man.

Now she realized, only by losing the man's warm demeanor and his departure did all of that bring Sherina to her senses. He really found his love.

"Why not send me a message? So insignificant is it to me, that you didn't tell me? Or are you angry and want to avenge me for leaving the house? I told you, didn't I, if I had any business?" Marvin asked with a stroke of disappointment interrupted by his firm tone.

Sherina held her breath. The man even considered himself to be insignificant, just because of yesterday's troubles.

"You should be able to judge, and give me the same feedback. As angry as I am with you, I will never let you feel like I have no importance in her presence. Indeed, I didn't ask permission from you and just walked away with it. But at least I'll let you know if I go!"

Sherina bit her lower lip with eyes that started to heat up. He was so stupid that he managed to make a man as perfect as Marvin think like that. No, what the man said was not true.

"I know I'm guilty of that. But let me explain the root of the problem first." Sherina wiped her tears with one hand before continuing her words.

"For the previous trouble, which I rejected your request was-"

"Not that problem! If for that, I honestly don't care! You rejected me, didn't return my feelings, or never even took me seriously, I don't care now. Let's just say I'm just playing around with my words. I'm not serious about proposing to you."

Sherina held her breath with tears coming back dripping from her two eyes. What did Marvin tell him, just now?

No longer expecting it? Why did her words feel so painful in her heart? Sherina looked at the man with her blank look.

He continued to cry with a completely unmoved look. Marvin was so mean to her. Why is that man too easy to make her feel hurt.

"alright. Everything will be in vain even if I explain it at length, right?" Sherina spoke with a great trembling tone.

"Take it. It's yours" Sherina said, handing over the ring Marvin once gave her.

Marvin clenched his hand even stronger as Sherina did that stupid thing. The two men's eyes warmed up, along with Sherina who was trying to wake up from her sleep.

"It's true, you're the one who doesn't want this relationship at all." Marvin looked at Sherina who was now sitting before him with a sharp look.

Sherina wiped her tears quickly, and returned the man's gaze.

"Yes, what you say and what you think is true! I have no respect for you at all! And I don't expect anything from this relationship, even just a little! You're right, Vin!" The woman, who was disappointed by Marvin's attitude, spoke in tears.

"Now you know I'm not good enough for you, right? So what are you waiting for? Go then! Never reappear in front of me! Forget it if you ever loved me, and expect this child!" Sherina looked at the two netra belonging to the man so deeply.

The man who had never even shed his tears, felt so devastated when he heard Sherina's words. The man let his tears go down his sturdy jaw.

"Newly now, you're saying it? You should have said it from the beginning, so as not to waste much of my time just waiting and fighting for you!" Marvin said with his heavy tone.

Sherina laughed flatly with her gaze of guts. "Enjoy your regrets and get out of my sight!"

Marvin fell silent as he accepted the expulsion from the woman.

"Go!"

Without saying anything else, Marvin immediately got up from his seat. He went and left Sherina with his erratic feelings.

While Sherina, she doesn't really want the man to leave. He stared at Marvin's burly back which had now disappeared from his sight.

The woman shrugged her shoulders and cried. His hoarse voice lowered his head and allowed himself to be content to cry. He's tired of everything.

He's tired because Marvin doesn't believe him. He was tired of the man's stubbornness. He didn't want this bad thing to happen in his relationship with Marvin.

The man is wrong. He is very hopeful about this relationship. He had so many dreams from his relationship with the man.

"I love you, Vin. I'm sorry." Sherina was desperate for everything.

Why is his life so painful. Why when he was about to pick up happiness, there were only obstacles that he had to face. He's really tired.

While Marvin, the man was walking through a long, lonely corior about to get to the elevator. But when he arrived in front of the open elevator, there was Ivander inside.

Ivander was a little surprised when he saw Marvin leaving with his angry face. The man who was about to go out because Kanwa's room was on the same floor as Sherina was, undoing his intentions.

He's waiting for Marvin to come in. "Come in, you don't have to avoid me."

Marvin didn't answer, and then he came in. The man stood beside Ivander, with his hand in his pocket.

"Your problem, done?" Ivander did not turn his gaze from the front, which made Marvin glance at the man.

At first Marvin did not answer. He didn't want to bother with Sherina at all. After all, he considered that the quarrel was a small pebble in his relationship with Sherina. She didn't take what she and Sherina had argued seriously.

"If you miss it, just once, you'll regret it. Yeah, you'll regret it all your life." Marvin turned his head to the man who was regretting all his actions.

"She's not the kind of woman who would give a second chance to someone else. You should be grateful, because he wanted to give you that chance, after the first wound you gave. You recall? When you took her chastity and she conceived, without your return, she was still willing to give you a chance. That's good luck, Vin."

Ivander turned his head to the man beside him, blankly staring.

"I've even asked, begged, even begged for him to give me a chance. You're the one who even saved him from my cunning plan, which is all I did to keep him mine. Butwhat? All nil, it's futile."

Marvin digested whatever the man told him.

"You know? I live the rest of my life just to enjoy my regrets. Regret for wasting a woman as good as her. I'll never get Sherina's replacement until then. And I take that as my penance, because it hurt her."

"Remember this. Don't ever let go of him, or you'll regret it yourself. He's too valuable if you have to let go ."

After saying that, Marvin had arrived at the floor he was on. Ivander returned his gaze forward and patted the shoulder of his former best friend.

"It's all in your hands. Know, he loves you so much."
