Madam No Man

Madam No Man
CHAPTER 125

Marvin rushes to pick up his phone, and searches for Alissa's name on his contact. Somehow there was an uncomfortable feeling to her when she suddenly heard Alissa's voice calling out to her.

But the man immediately stopped his hand, when suddenly there was an incoming call, and it was none other than Alissa, the secretary.

"Al!? You okay?" said the man with a worried tone, after his call he received.

"I'm sorry, sir. I want to let you know if the owner of this phone has just had an accident. The owner of the cell phone is already in the city hospital."

Upon hearing that, Marvin quickly turned off his call unilaterally. He quickly picked up his car, without changing clothes first.

As if not thinking, he just wanted to get to the hospital as soon as possible. Marvin went straight to the hospital without wasting much time. All he wanted was how he could get to the hospital soon.

Just as Marvin's car was just coming out of her house, Anne, who was opening the gate, looked at her in confusion. Didn't Ivander just say that Marvin just came home? Then why go again?

"Didn't he just come back? Why go again? Or is he going to the hospital?" Anne immediately asked Ivander who was pairing the seat belt for her, with a wrinkled face.

"I think it's impossible if he goes to the hospital to see Sherina." Ivander immediately took his car and drove to the hospital.

Anne was still staring at Marvin's car walking out of the compound. "What if he's really gone to see Sherina? What will we make of that as a reason?"

"Then if not?" Anne fell silent as Ivander rolled her eyes at her.

Right, he shouldn't expect Marvin to go see his wife in the hospital. The two of them instantly fell silent, and there was no conversation between them during the journey.

"We should have brought the kids. At least they have activities to get out, even if not for long." Anne turned her head to Ivander who was focusing on her wheel.

"It's just free to bring the kids. Sherina is not to be disturbed. He must rest completely, so that his condition quickly improves. If you want to bring the kids, tomorrow. They're off tomorrow." replied Ivander without dispute.

"Your teaching is a little harsh, for them. At least give them time to get out" Anne said without looking at Ivander.

While the man was, he had absolutely no intention of answering Anne's remark. The two continued so until they finally arrived at the hospital.

Yes, after enough rest, Ivander took Anne to the hospital to take care of some of Sherina's lack of letters. But how shocked they were, when they saw Marvin who was walking towards the hospital lobby in a hurry.

"Loh, right to the hospital turned out. Do you really want to see Sherina?" Ivander, who heard Anne's words, immediately followed the woman's line of sight.

"Don't guess easy, honey. Let him be confused and regret his actions. For now, let's finish Sherina's business first." Ivander immediately pulled Anne's waist closer, and walked straight into the doctor's room.

Anne who thought that Marvin had come to the hospital to see Sherina began to think about how to deal with the man later. But unlike they imagined, Marvin goes to the hospital instead for another woman. Not for his wife.

After all the business was done, Ivander and Anne decided to leave. They walked hand in hand, until they met Ivander who had just come out of one of the rooms not far from where they were standing.

Seeing that, the two threw eyes at each other. Anne rounded her eyes, with a bewildered look on Ivander. Not much different, Ivander also looked at the man with furrowed brows.

The man's big steps slowly began to draw closer to Ivander and Anne, who had been staring at him with a confused look.

"Van, Ann." Greet the man awkwardly a little, which Anne immediately nodded.

"Oh hi, Vin. Long time no see" Anne replied in a slightly stiff voice.

Marvin just nodded his head and looked at Ivander, the man who had been staring at him incessantly.

"What are you doing here? See Sherina?" ivander asked in her sharp tone, showing her dislike for the man who was currently standing before her.

"Ah.. yes! I'm going to see Sherina." replied Marvin a little late, who immediately made a slanted smile appear on Ivander's lips.

"Will visit? So you haven't seen him when you got here? Then what did you just do?" ivander's lips were so fierce, that it made Anne feel a little uneasy about what her future husband had just said.

"Iwane! It's none of your business!" shriek Anne was restrained, while holding Ivander's arm.

"Shut up first, Ann. I'm asking Marvin!" ivander said firmly, which made Marvin feel offended.

"This ah. I just visited Alissa, my secretary. He just had an accident."

You idiot! The man was really stupid, saying that in front of Ivander and Anne. Trivial jolt was just thrown from Ivander's lips.

"Alissa?" parrot Anne felt familiar with the name Marvin had just mentioned.

"Yes, Alissa. He was my first secretary. Let me remind you, she is Ailey's real mother." Marvin replied carefully after seeing Ivander's facial expression on her.

"Oh, apparently secretary. Hmm, I just found out that the other woman who had an accident was more important than the legal wife who had been fighting death for years. It's crying!"

Ivander deliberately did not stare at Marvin who was currently staring at him with a serious gaze. The man gave a crisp laugh for a while, then returned the sharp glare Marvin gave him.

"Why should I visit him? Not necessary... You don't have to bother doing it. Meet your wife when she's dead!" Ivander emphasized his words with his angry eyes.

Seeing Marvin who was about to answer the words of her future husband, Anne quickly prevented the two and intended to take Ivander away from there.

"We're leaving first, Vin. Sorry," said Anne, saying goodbye, then immediately dragged Ivander's arm to leave.

Marvin felt a great blow after hearing Ivander's words earlier. For some reason, he felt ill when the man managed to remind him, of himself who very rarely visited his wife.

"I'm going to Sherina first before I get back to the office." The man tried to calm himself down, visiting his wife. As self-indulgence, if he is innocent because he rarely visits.

The man continued to walk, passing through the corridor and the ranks of the vip treatment room in the hospital. His big step continued forward until he stopped right in front of the door of his wife's inpatient room.

He took a deep breath, and immediately opened his door with all the courage he had gathered.

The man walked with his head bowed, not daring to look forward. He may not be able to look at the face of the woman who for 4 years is trying to eliminate from his memory.

He continued walking until he finally arrived next to the bed. The man's chest suddenly became claustrophobic. He began to dare himself to raise his hand, and clasped his wife's hand.

"Sherina," called the man softly, as if she was calling the name of the woman she so longed for.

The man was still trying to control his feelings, before he suddenly realized that this hand did not belong to his wife. And yes, no wedding ring is the same as the ring that he still keeps at home.

He quickly raised his head. Marvin was even more surprised when he saw if not the wife who was in bed. Except for other women.

The man's breath immediately hunted. He let go of the woman's hand that he held, and shook his head in disbelief.

"No! Where's my wife?" with panic mixed with confusion, the man walked backwards to move away and accidentally hit the chair.

"Sherina!?" call Marvin in fear while spreading his gaze around the room.

The thing Marvin did was to make the master of the room wake up from his sleep.

"Who are you!? Why are you in my room?" asked the woman in a slight panic that made Marvin try to calm down.

"I'm sorry. But I guess this is still my wife's room. Two days ago he was still here." Marvin explained as he returned to make sure he was not in the wrong room.

"No wife, here. I just got in here this afternoon."

Marvin was silent for a moment, and thought quickly.

'Look at you, Van!'
