CHAPTER 46

In the afternoon, finished getting ready, Marvin immediately drove his car to Sherina's apartment. After trying to persuade Sherina to attend the invitation with him, Sherina finally agreed to her offer.

The man even brought a new dress for Sherina, to match the tuxedo she was wearing.

Shortly after, he got out of his car and came straight upstairs. When Sherina opens the door for him, Marvin is silent. Sherina is so sweet right now.

"Is everything ready?" asked Sherina then looked at the entire appearance of the man.

"I've been, but you haven't." With his flat face, the man extended his hand to Sherina.

Sherina frowned when she saw Marvin bring her clothes. "This is for me?" Sherina asked to make sure.

"You sure you're going to go with your too-low backside? You may be comfortable, but I'm not." Marvin averted his eyes when he saw part of Sherina's almost visible body.

Sherina did not protest. He immediately went in and changed his clothes. She smiled when she found out the man's taste in choosing a dress.

"This makes you comfortable?" Sherina came out of her house and saw Marvin's choice of dress that was attached to her body.

Marvin nodded. "It's very comfortable."

After that, the two men immediately came to Ivander's show. During the trip, it was Sherina who dominated the conversation. She told me how Ivander got married again.

"Why don't you hold on? Having honey is not a bad thing, is it?" Marvin turned his head and was immediately greeted with Sherina's sharp gaze.

"If I survive, maybe you're not with me as you are now." Sherina replied, which made Marvin laugh.

"How long have they been cheating on you?" The man continued to ask Sherina.

"Two years maybe, but I don't know for sure. It seems that if it's not wrong, I'm the one who's the bully in their relationship." Sherina laughed lightly upon realizing that.

"Why could that be?" With a puzzled face Marvin asked the woman next to him.

"They knew me much longer. Since Ivander started running his papa business. As for me, we'll just meet in the short time before the wedding."

Marvin nodded his head without knowing what to respond to.

Shortly after, the two had arrived at the invitation. Sherina comes out with Marvin's help. The two walked in with Sherina's hands hugging Marvin's arms.

This attracted the attention of many people who had already arrived there. Ivander and Nessie. The man immediately looked at Sherina with his sharp gaze.

'He really didn't listen to me!' the man's mind churned when he found out Sherina didn't follow his words.

"Happy birthday to your company, Van. Hopefully in the future your company will be more advanced and useful for all layers." Marvin shook Ivander's hand and congratulated him.

Ivander with his calm gaze returned Marvin's hand. He nodded his head and took turns to greet Sherina.

Sherina frowned slightly as Ivander shook his hand violently. Nessie who saw that instantly let go of her second hand. She immediately grabbed the husband's hand and greeted Sherina.

"Thank you, Mr. Marvin. Nice to meet you and Miss Sherina." So sweetly Nessie said that.

"You guys look so harmonious. Mr Marvin, do you have any plans to marry Ms Sherin? You'll regret missing it."

Sherina and Ivander, who heard Nessie's words, knitted their eyebrows together. Sherina felt awkward with Nessie's words. He and Marvin had never even talked about it so seriously, but the woman so presumptuously spoke about it straight away.

While Ivander, the man instantly tightened his jaw. How could Sherina have married, while she was still his wife? It will never be.

"of course. Soon," replied Marvin, hugging Sherina's slender waist.

"Alright, enjoy the party. In a few moments the show will begin." Nessie allowed the two to join the others.

Marvin and Sherina walked to the side to mingle with the many people who had been waiting for her arrival.

It is different with Ivander. The man did not let the two people out of his sight. He promised to break the man's hand because he had dared to touch his wife's body.

If there weren't many people, she would have taken Sherina away from the man. But whatever he can do, he's stuck with the game he's made.

Shortly after, the show began. Sherina, who was not interested in the business event, chose to sit by the pool.

He looked at Marvin who was talking to his colleagues, from behind the big glass. He was currently completely outside the room.

The woman just kept quiet. He thought of all the things that were currently filling his head.

"What are you thinking, hm?" Sherina who had been daydreaming since, was surprised when someone stroked the top of her head.

The woman with the shoulder-length hair turned her head and smiled warmly at Marvin. "Nothing,"

Marvin shook his head and stood next to Sherina's chair. "Can you give me a hug?" said the man with a pleading face.

Sherina laughed briefly, then immediately got up from her seat. Patiently, the woman hugged Marvin.

"I love you" said Marvin, closing his eyes.

He felt so deeply as he clenched Sherina's body. He promised not to lose Sherina again.

Sherina didn't reply. He just stroked the man's burly back. After feeling enough, Marvin took off his arms and bent one knee right in front of Sherina.

Sherina who saw that, rewinded her body a few steps. The woman looked at Marvin with a look of disbelief when she saw Marvin pull out a red box containing a diamond ring from inside her tuxedo pocket.

"Sher. Will you be my future?" In a deep enough tone, the man tried to reveal what he wanted to say to Sherina.

The Sherina whose eyes were starting to heat up covered her mouth with one hand. He tilted his head weakly, "It's too fast, Vin."

Marvin who heard Sherina's reply immediately shook his head. "Too fast for you, but too long for me Sher. Know it? Four years, I've been trying to maintain this sense. Because what? Because you're all I want."

The woman could not hold back her tears. He felt what Marvin felt. Waiting for something with a passionate feeling, for years is not an easy thing. It's all too painful!

"I'm not forcing you to accept it. But say yes, if you allow me to keep you company until you completely forget everything that happened in your past." Pinta Marvin in earnest.

While from up there, a man who had even begun to lose his consciousness was breathing with excitement.

His heart felt slashed with a chill as he watched what was going on down there. The man's anger was mounting when he saw the nod of the head from his woman.

"Baj*ean! I'm gonna kill you!" He said with tears full of anger, then rose from his position.

He won't hold this thing back. He was even willing if his good name was smeared for maintaining what he had.

"Ivander!" Nessie cried out in panic as she looked at Ivander who came out with a face full of anger.

She was even just about to go inside, after she purposely gave her husband a high alcohol wine.

"Damn!"
