Madam No Man

Madam No Man
CHAPTER 80

"Darling, let's just put this next to our bed. If it's a little big later, we'll just move it to his room." Marvin stared at the cot in his daughter's room.

Sherina tilted her head and petted the advice given by her husband. "You want it that way? Alright!"

Sherina and her husband eventually move the little bed that belonged to her daughter without the help of anyone else. They finally move some items that have even been neatly arranged in their daughter's room, as Marvin wishes.

"Well, like this. I like to see it." Marvin put both of his hands around his waist, and looked at his wife with a fluffy smile.

"You tired, honey?" marvin asked as he approached Sherina who was sitting on the bed.

Sherina did not reply, she just nodded her head and returned her husband's hand. Marvin squatted down in front of his wife, and straightened his head to stare at her tired face.

"I'm sorry, huh? I should have cleaned it up myself." Marvin kissed his wife's stomach and made his wife's thigh as a cushion.

"When is her date of birth estimated?" Sherina stroked the back of her husband's head and massaged him slowly.

"This week." Marvin who heard it, immediately looked up.

Her face that looked so happy, got rid of all her fatigue. "What kind of father am I, how can I not know if my little daughter is going to be born soon."

Sherina looked at the face of her husband's. I don't know why, but he believes if the premonition of a wife, especially mother, will never be wrong. "Vin, why do I feel like something is going to happen to our family? I know it's just my feeling, but why is it as if I'm really scared if this is happening."

Marvin was expressionless, his face flat instantly. The man's large hand was raised and clasped Sherina's hand tightly.

"We got married basically to live this life together. Whatever happens, we face it together. You know, no, everyone has a past. How bitter our partner's past is, inevitably we have to accept. We can't change the past, can we?"

"When we have a problem, whether it's a joint problem or something else, we try to get the first thing we need to do is talk to each other. We minimize misunderstandings between each other as well. I have taken you as my wife, before all men and before the Lord. I no longer have a face to shame myself."

Sherina understood what her husband said. He smiled gently with his stare.

"I knew. What you're saying is true." She stroked her husband's jaw and smiled together.

"Well, I'll cook dinner first." Sherina got up from her seat, leaving Marvin still sitting on the floor.

Sherina walked with half her consciousness. The woman's blank gaze implied that she had a slight burden on her mind.

The woman cooked her husband's favorite meal, after trying to get rid of his bad thoughts. After the smeua matured, he called the husband who was still on top.

The woman looked at her stomach with her own face. He can't lie to himself. In fact, his mind really disturbed his fear.

"Hmm, the smell is delicious. Did you cook my favorite meal?" Marvin came down from the stairs and approached the dining table that had been arranged Sherina's cuisine.

"Yes, I cooked your favorite saffron chicken. I fry some for you too." Sherina took the rice for her husband and gave it to Marvin.

Sherina sat quietly, and ate her homemade cooking. The woman several times stole an oandang on her husband who was very focused on his food.

Sherina cleared her throat slowly before straightening her body. "I trust you, Vin."

Marvin, who was about to feed his food again into the mouth, immediately stopped his hand. He looked at his wife with furrowed brows.

"Why, Honey? What are you saying?" As if not hearing Sherina's words, the man asked his wife again.

Sherina suddenly felt that her tongue was twisted. She felt an overwhelming sense of tightness when she could not immediately answer her husband's question.

"I believe in you. I believe there's nothing you've hidden from me." Sherina squeezed her hands under the table while returning the confused look of her husband.

Marvin really didn't think if there was something bothering his wife right now. He put down his spoon and fork, then pulled Sherina's hand to lift her up to the table.

"Dear, listen to me. I never hid anything from you. I'm open with you. I appreciate you as my partner." Marvin looked at his wife with confidence.

Sherina nodded, she smiled. Trying to convince himself if that's the truth. Marvin would never lie to her.

"Yes, you're right. You'll never hide anything from me. I believe that." Sherina returned the hand of her husband.

He repeatedly breathed deeply. It worked to make Marvin not feel if he was okay.

"What's wrong? Why do you feel like that? Is there something we should talk about? If there is, say. I don't want any problems hidden by myself. We have to talk about it and get it done quickly."

Sherina was silent for a while. He thought hard, before he finally shook his head. "No, there's nothing. Calm down."

Marvin believed in his wife. He asks Sherina to continue eating and immediately returns upstairs to rest.

'May it all be untrue.'
