Everyone was moved to hear the vows spoken by the two brides. Marvin and Sherina look very happy. Anne, knowing how Ivander was feeling, stretched out her hand and stroked Ivander's burly arm.
"He was happy with his choice. I'm sure you can take it," said Anne, with one more hand holding Kanwa's body.
Ivander did not reply, he only settled on Anne's natural face for a moment, then nodded his head weakly. The man looked back to the front with his hand which was currently grasping the small hand of his son.
Not long after the event was over, Sherina walked over to Anne who was bowing her head, staring at the slumber of her beloved baby. "You love him so much?"
Anne raised her head, and was stunned when she saw Sherina who was now sitting in front of her. The woman grasped Sherina's right hand, which is now embedded in her wedding ring with Marvin.
They were silent for a moment. Anne turned her gaze and looked at Sherina's large belly. Her hand slipped and now swiped Sherina's stomach.
"I hope your baby will be able to take care of it with your own hands. A child will always need his mother, until anytime. And also Kanwa. I hope, hopefully someday, Kanwa's biological mother can come back and take care of her handsome son. Although I love him very much, but I hope to exceed him."
Sherina looked into Anne's eyes as she said so. Sherina captures a feeling Anne gives Kanwa. "are you sure you can part with Kanwa?"
Anne instantly fell silent upon hearing the impromptu question from the Sherina. The woman cut off her gaze with Sherina. "wouldn't want to, I must be sure. I am only her mother anyway. I told Ivander about it, too, he agreed to it."
Sherina frowned. "approve of what? He had even changed his mother's milk to Kanwa for a few times, and nothing worked. But after getting you and you managed to take care of his son, are you sure he'll agree if you quit this thing? I don't think it's possible."
Anne did not answer. He exhaled and shook his head.
"Okay, I don't know either. Maybe for the next few months I'll still be here. But when Kanwa has stopped ASI, chances are I will return to Germany. I'm still trying to take care of my son's custody. You know that."
Sherina is very sorry for what happened in Anne's life. She was the same as him, living a single life, without her parents. "whatever you'll take later, I'll always support you Ann. If I have anything to help, just say it. You know me well too, my husband. We're there for you." Anne nodded her head calmly.
Meanwhile, not far from where Sherina and Anne were conversing, a man had since looked at Sherina without blinking.
Ivander sat next to Marvin and leaned his back against the back of the chair. "i'm sure, you'll be the luckiest man in the world."
Marvin turned his head and nodded confirming what Ivander had said.
"You're right. I was so lucky to have him. I'm really grateful for your stupidity in the past, Van." Marvin joked while nudging the man's arm with his elbow.
Ivander chuckles slowly before Marvin asks himself about Anne. "does Anne manage to take care of your son?"
Ivander turned his head to Marvin for a moment, before finally looking at Anne who had not been tired of holding her son.
"Surprisingly succeeded. Though they have no blood ties or anything like that, even I just got to know him. But he managed to make my son comfortable with her." Ivander stared fixedly at Anne's calm face and then turned to Kanwa who had not even woken up since.
"Listen to me. There are no coincidences in this world. Just accept all the facts. So what about your relationship with your wife?" Marvin's question managed to make Ivander remember the process of divorce with Nessie who he did not even take care of again.
"I divorced her, but she didn't. I don't know where I got my divorce from that woman." Marvin looked at the man who used to be his playmate.
"Why not try to forgive him, and get back together? Your children need you." Ivander frowned at Marvin's words.
"I don't think it can. I don't know if he's really changed or not. I know myself, if all this time I've been guilty. But at least I've realized it and won't do it again."
When it comes to that, Marvin cannot force it. He only gives advice.
"But I don't know how it's going. Anyway, I used to prefer Nessie over Sherina. So, I'm sure if he was my destiny, he'd come back with the best version.
