CHAPTER 60

After the conversation this afternoon with Marvin, the woman had momentarily forgotten what had happened to her.

Marvin, who saw Sherina cooking, walked up to Sherina. He stood behind Sherina and saw what the woman was cooking.

"If you're tired, cut it out. We can order food or call Anne to cook." Marvin kissed Sherina's forehead while stroking the woman's stomach.

"Don't overdo it, I'm just cooking. After all, since I was pregnant, I couldn't eat if it wasn't my own cooking." Sherina walks away from Marvin and brings her freshly finished cooking.

"Come here, eat first." Sherina still stood up and let Marvin sit down first.

The woman prepared food for Marvin and sat down after preparing the same meal for him. "Is my baby demanding too much?"

Sherina who heard Marvin's question shook her head. "Now it's not. During the second trimester, then he beat his mother all out. Everything I do is never in line with what it wants."

Marvin smiled hearing that. She looked at Sherina who was eating her food after she finished praying. "Oh yeah, is he a boy or a girl?" asked Marvin curiously.

"Female. The doctor said I was prone to giving birth early. So there's not much I can do. I even had to resign for fear of anything happening to her." Sherina answered casually.

Marvin speechless. He remembered the story his mother had told him. At first Marvin had an older brother. Her gender is the same as her current child, a woman. Her sister died shortly after her premature birth.

"We're back in our country, huh, Sher? Aside from having a lot of my work left there, you'll also be more comfortable when we get back." Sherina who was busy chewing her food, looked at Marvin.

"You don't have to take me with you, Vin. Come back, your job needs you more. Besides, I'm not asking you to take responsibility for this kid."

"Sherina!" Sherina, who had just turned down Marvin's offer, gasped when Marvin snapped at him.

Sherina immediately disconnected her gaze with Marvin and resumed eating. He knows where his mistake lies. Obviously Marvin wants them back to improve, but he keeps acting like he doesn't expect Marvin back.

Marvin who was aware if he started that emotion, just kept quiet. He ate the food Sherina prepared for him without making a sound. Instantly the air turned awkward and cold.

Sherina, who had finished eating, crossed her hands on the table, and looked at Marvin. The man is still seen if he is holding back anger. Sherina became unwell after what she said earlier.

"Vin, ak-" Sherina who was about to talk to Marvin, immediately stopped her speech when she saw Marvin who was already standing.

The man walked into the kitchen and brought his dirty dishes. Not to forget, he cleaned the dining table after the two finished eating. Sherina took a deep breath and tried to get up and catch up with Marvin.

"Go back to your room. It's late." Marvin, who knew Sherina was about to talk to him, cut her off.

The man passed Sherina just like that which made the pregnant woman again exhale long. "I was wrong,"

"Vin. The blanket you took in the cupboard. I forgot to take it out." Sherina knocks on Marvin's door and goes into his room, when he hears no reply from Marvin.

After arriving at the room, Sherina changed her clothes and prepared to go to sleep. He's been really tired all day.

Moments after she lay on the bed, Sherina was startled with a hug from behind her body. His shoulder is directly used as a cover for the person's face, making Sherina know if Marvin is the culprit.

"Why are you here?" Sherina turned her head to the side, to look at Marvin.

"Don't talk! Shut up, and go to sleep!" Marvin tightened his embrace on Sherina's body and drowned her face in Sherina's neck niche.

Sherina resigned, the woman was silent for a while. But when she recalled Nessie's words earlier this afternoon, Sherina immediately turned her body around.

"Nessie came here." With the dark room lights, Sherina looked at Marvin's face. The firm, firm jaw again made Sherina raise her hand and touch her.

"What did the woman say?" Marvin closed his body together, and listened to what Sherina was going to say.

"He asked me to go back to Ivander. He said if I didn't go back to Ivander, the man would divorce Nessie and not admit their son." Sherina told me what Nessie told her.

As Sherina explained, Marvin only focused on listening with his hand stroking Sherina's stomach.

"The woman should correct her words, so that my future wife does not misunderstand. Not to go back to Ivander, but to remarry the man!" Marvin looked at Sherina with his flat face when he heard Sherina say about the man.

"But what Ivander said?" Sherina felt suspicious about what Ivander said earlier.

"Your divorce is over I'm taking care of. I'm really having trouble working on it. But thanks to Nessie's help, it's all done." Marvin soon tells about how difficult it is to take care of the divorce of Sherina and Ivander.

"You're really very totality, Vin." Sherina shook her head, staring in disbelief at the man currently before her.

"I promised to finish all your business, and take you away immediately. That's why I take care of everything. And yes, tell Nessie if until Ivander divorces her and doesn't help her mother's surgery because you don't go back to Ivander, I'll help her. I'll cover everything."

Sherina smiled faintly at Marvin's words. "Are you sure I wouldn't go back to Ivander? You haven't heard my answer, Vin."

Marvin's face instantly turned sour. He looked at Sherina with his flat face.

"You're going back to a mean guy like him? Come, Sher. You're pregnant with my son, and I've done it all for you." Marvin is squeezing while pulling Sherina's fingers.

Sherina laughed lightly and went into Marvin's arms. "No. I've had enough of this man."
