CHAPTER 2

The beautiful woman with such shoulder-length hair, sighed slightly rudely after turning off her phone call from the husband. In the woman's mind, tired from always repeating the same thing for the past year.

"If you knew how I felt, Van. You'll surely be fed up and prefer to give up this fake wedding" said Sherina, putting her phone back on the table.

The label girl is still attached to Sherina, even though she has been married for almost a year. Tired, fed up, and the feeling of wanting to give up always approached the feelings of the 22-year-old girl. Even her instinct once said to just divorce from Ivander, her husband. But the mandate of her parents is still Sherina's main reason for staying.

"The sixty-second call. At least two more calls this week" Sherina said, adding a line next to the line she made.

It's a little weird, but that's exactly what happened. Sherina even only makes voice calls to her husband if there are important moments. Where the two of them have to act as if their marriage is fine, even though the actual situation is very inversely proportional.

Sherina decides to prepare herself because soon her in-laws will be coming. Due to the habit of coming her two in-laws, Sherina still feels constant and hopes that Ivander will come before 7 am.

The calm still stopped Sherina until she finished bathing. The girl, who was drying her hair, was shocked when she heard the bell ringing in her house.

The woman's gaze was immediately fixed on the large wall clock in her private room. The time still shows at half-seven, then who has arrived at his house? Sherina's mind immediately fell on her husband.

Immediately, Sherina walked out of her room and headed to the ground floor to open the door. Without having any suspicious premonition, Sherina opened her door with her flat gaze.

However, how shocked Sherina was to learn that the one who pressed the bell in her house was not the husband. The beautiful girl with dimples was very surprised to find that her two in-laws had arrived at her house so early.

"Morning, Honey." The greeting from her mother-in-law managed to make Sherina realize from her shock. Instantly the woman's mind thought a little slow because of the arrival of her two in-laws in Ivander's state who had not yet returned.

"Pa .. morning also Ma, Pa. Please come in Ma, it's cold outside." With a slight nervousness, Sherina shook her two in-laws' hands and brought the two inside.

Shortly before Sherina closed her door, the woman rolled her eyes around the house to see signs of her husband's arrival. But no, Sherina still has not found any signs of Ivander's arrival.

"Where is that guy? I hope my mom and dad don't ask me where Ivan is" Sherina said in her heart as she closed her door.

The nervous, half-dead woman followed her parents-in-law who were observing the interior changes in her home.

"Where is Ivan? Has he not woken up yet?" Checkmate, the question that had become a scourge for Sherina said already.

The woman who began to be confused was about to answer what it was, could only fall silent. He was really confused what to answer to his two in-laws.

Does she have to answer honestly and that's potentially bad for her marriage? Or Sherina just have to lie and oppose the principle that has always been held firmly?

With a look of surprise, the girl looked at Ivander who was smiling sweetly at her parents. Sherina's gaze also moved to the burly hands of her husband who was hugging her stomach.

"Process continues, when will it be? Papa is tired of waiting for good news from you and Sherina" said father Ivander as he walked away from his son and daughter-in-law.

Sherina who heard the words from her father-in-law, could only sigh slowly. In the depths of her heart, Sherina had absolutely no heart when her two in-laws always asked when they would get a grandchild.

But what can Sherina do? How she would have conceived, if Ivander had never touched her.

"A little while now, Pa. Ivan will give a very clever grandson to papa. Don't you think, honey?" With confidence Ivander immediately answered this to his parents.

It's different with Sherina. The woman was made speechless when she heard what the man said.

How could Ivander accept what his parents-in-law had been asking for? Meanwhile, he and Ivander have never had a long conversation or anything like that.

"What did you say?! Can you keep your promise?" As if getting a magnet, the man who was half a century old turned his head directly to his eldest son.

Again Sherina was surprised when Ivander immediately agreed what her father-in-law was asking. Sherina stared at Ivan's burly back, who walked away from her after pulling his arm from her small waist.

"Ivan sure, Pa. Soon papa and mama will be a grandmother and grandfather." The man who had come out of nowhere was embracing the twilight shoulder of his papa while smiling brightly.

While the woman who had come along with the father Ivan, immediately hugged Sherina very happily. The woman who thought that Sherina was pregnant was really confused about how to express her happiness.

"Mama hopes you and your granddaughter will be okay, son. Take good care of our family. If anything happens to you, just tell Mom. Youunderstand?" Just as her mother-in-law was stroking her stomach, Sherina raised her gaze towards the husband who was also looking at her with a dislike look.

'Stop what other plan she was doing.' Sherina inwardly with her sharp gaze as she turned her gaze to her mother-in-law.

"Of course, Ma. Sherina will take good care of Sherina, even very well. Sherina makes sure that Sherina will accompany Ivan until we are old. Isn't that right, Van?" sherina said in a mocking tone that she addressed Ivander.

While Ivander who heard the remark from Sherina just raised next to his eyebrows and his slanted smile.

Ivander thought there was no fear at all in Sherina's speech. What Ivander wants is for Sherina to feel burdened with her challenge saying that soon they will be giving grandchildren to her parents. Whereas Ivander meant none other than Nessie who was pregnant with her child.
