Chapter 94 - Undying Implant Part 1

Third Stage, Day 146.

Gaju looked towards the mini computer in his left hand and smiled. This was the day he had been waiting for since he and Tian bought the Intelligent Enhancement Serum on the 89th day.

After Tian used the serum and began his training to become a Psychic, they had experienced a period of decline in points acquisition for more than a week. But after Tian mastered his abilities, their progress became extraordinarily effective. In one day, the two of them could accumulate an average of 30 points.

The Undying Inplant that Gaju was after for 1300 points. With a progression of 30 points/day, they took a minimum of 43 days to accumulate that many points. Coupled with the time wasted as Tian trained his Psychic abilities, today they finally managed to accumulate enough points to purchase the Undying Implant.

An implant that does not add any attribute score to its users, but only gives one special advantage, adding speed and new cell regeneration capabilities to Gaju.

Until this second, there were two of Gaju's greatest secrets that he had never told Tian. It was not that he still held a sense of disbelief in his Angel, but that Gaju waited for the right time to say it.

The first is Gaju's photographic memory ability that he had from the beginning. Where Gaju is able to remember anything he sees only once. The ability that makes Gaju has extraordinary knowledge that will either have a score of how much when he really test it.

The second was the acupuncture technique used by Gaju to improve his physical abilities while they were still at the Second Stage.

The technique discovered by Gaju himself and managed to increase his physical attributes from being 'only' below average to being the strongest without the help of any serum.

And right now, Gaju felt it was the right time to tell Tian about his second secret.

But before that, Gaju wanted to buy the Undying Implant first.

This implant is a necessity and an obligation if Gaju wants to continue using his technique. This acupuncture technique is indeed effective but the pain that accompanies it even makes a person with self-confidence like Gaju almost give up because of the pain that accompanies it.

The question then arises, where does the pain come from?

The pain comes from the muscles of the body being forced to work beyond its limits. When the muscles of the body reach their limits and exceed their previous capacity, they will develop to be stronger than before.

If this process is done repeatedly, you can imagine what happens to all the muscles of the body Gaju. In the end, they will experience their yield point and maximum limit, then will experience failure.

So, Gaju stopped this method of self-torture or self-mortification not because he had been satisfied with his current ability or because he could no longer bear the pain that accompanied it. "Confirm Purchase?" a familiar robotic voice is heard from Gaju's mini computer.

Tian noticed all of Gaju's movements with a smile on his lips. He was happy when he saw his soulmate happy.

In fact, he was very questioning the reason Gaju bought an implant that is very unbalanced between the benefits and the price.

Even though this implant is able to increase the regeneration ability of the wearer's body cells and help when healing wounds, but there is an even more effective way, right?

Be stronger, faster and do not give your enemies a chance to hurt you.

Or like Tian who managed to create a Dome Shield with his Pshycic abilities and become the ultimate defense that will not be easily penetrated by enemy attacks.

A transparent shield whose shape resembled a dome and kept Tian protected from attacks coming from all directions. An ultimate defense that even makes Gaju dizzy if he has to fight Tian.

Half an hour later, a blackish-red object resembling a caterpillar was on Gaju's palm.

Tian approached and looked towards the thing and squinted his forehead.

Gaju glanced at Tian and quickly kissed his soulmate's forehead.

A hard, transparent layer suddenly appeared in front of Tian's face blocking Gaju's lips which were already a few centimeters away from his soulmate's face.

Gaju grimaced in pain while Tian smiled with apologetic eyes.

"You.." murmured Gaju as he stroked his slightly painful lips with his left hand.

How not to pain, try to kiss the wall or floor as hard as power. No pain?

"Sorry," whispered Tian as he approached and tiptoed to kiss Gaju's lips.

The two of them made out for a few minutes before Tian finally let go of his kiss.

"Other times, don't 'cry me' all of a sudden," whispered Tian with a reddened face.

"Your shield can't really make a 'attack' with a real attack?" sulcan Gaju's.

Tian just chuckled and then tried to distract, "Try now activate that Undying Implant, I want to see it too" Tian whispered.

Gaju took a deep breath and forgot about the pain on his lips, after all he also got the cure, right?

But, beyond Tian's expectations, Gaju was silent and seemed to think deeply.

"Why?" tian asked attentively when he saw the look on his soulmate's face.

"mmmmmmm. Tian, I want to say something to you," Gaju said slowly.

"Eh?" Tian was surprised, was there anything more important than the Undying Implant that was now in Gaju's hands?

Gaju ignored Tian's shock and confusion and began to tell stories.

"You know I'm very interested in an ancient method called acupuncture" Gaju said.

Tian was silent and listened carefully.

"Acupuncture is a method that focuses on the human nervous system and its relationship to the performance of the human body..."

Gaju then began to tell Tian all the secrets of the two.

About the method he found.

The side effects he felt.

About the increase in attributes he gained.

About the boundaries that Gaju eventually encounters.

Tian was silent the entire time while listening to Gaju's story. Tian looks very sad with teary eyes as Gaju finishes telling her everything.

"I can't imagine the pain and suffering that Gaju has been through."

"I wish, if only I could share that pain, that Gaju wouldn't feel it for himself."

"I love you, My Demon," whispered Tian softly as he wiped his tears.
